I have purchased 3 of these and although I have no long term results they are working quite well for the price. My lettuce likes it. There is a slight pink hue but not as much as other led grow lights imo.
Hopefully Amazon links are ok: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GGX3R9T
I'm using this LED board from Amazon. I was skeptical at first but it looks like it may actually work out!
I bought three 20w grow lights for my grow box. The grow box dimensions are 17.75”x 18.5” x 29.5" The side lights have Velcro and can be raised as the plant grows. I’m wondering if it would be better to just buy a more powerful top light and remove the side lights. It would give the plant more space to grow laterally, but it wouldn’t be able to grow as tall since the light would have to stay farther away from the tops of the plant. Any advice appreciated!
I use these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GGX3R9T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have the plants 2-6" away from the lights, depending on the species. Use two of these lights across about a 3x1ft space and have the back of the shelf lined with mirrors to reflect more light :)
I got this very low profile grow light from Amazon it says 20watts

Both lights are actually these LED Panels I got from Amazon. 100% would recommend. I used to have them mounted inside a midcentury hutch with the Velcro command strips (funfact, still gets warm enough to compromise the sticky bits). They're bright enough to cause a bit of stress coloring, but not enough to fry sensitive haworthia species (most of the time, but that plant is dramatic as all get out). I love them. I want more of them. The fans were originally also used in the hutch, I wanted something quiet that wouldn't drive me crazy.
You might need to get a stronger light or move it closer. I have this light hanging 8-12 inches above my echeveria and then an additional light aimed toward them (one of those gooseneck LED ones). They've grown really well for months with no etiolation. They're off to the side of the window so pretty much all of their light is from those lamps.
Thank you! Yeah my wife said the same thing... I’m so all-in about pruning it didn’t even cross my mind...
It’s kinda kratky but my plants’ root don’t sit in water/solution all the time. I only water from the bottom every couple of days until I transplant them outside.
I’m using the FloraGro series by General Hydroponics. Super easy to use at all stages of plant growth!
I’m using some ACKE LED lights that I got from amazon. Here’s the link:

I switched over from fluorescent this year. I would say the two main differences are:
Does that help answer your questions? I have a ton of other videos, take a look!

Thanks for the advice, looks like i need to make a few decisions. I already have too many lights running so ill see if i can find a spot for it. I actually did have it under a light and it was doing well so maybe lack of light was what killed my last one.

what do you think of this product spec?
personally i own more than a few of these and i have found them to be satisfactory for growing my plants (i keep easy to care for plants).
these are bonkers. I have 2 lights on each of my tanks.
https://www.amazon.com/ACKE-Germination-Seedling-Vegetative-Flowering/dp/B07GGX3R9T would this be the one?
Thanks
I'm trying some new lights on this set up. Non-affiliate link I really like the red mix in the light, it really fits the desert atmosphere and contrast between the red hue in the background/rocks/sand and the green plants. But I wish I had more control options for dimming/timing
Then to help with the heating of it I picked up a Zillia Mini Halogen 50W blue (non-affilate link) w/ housing from pet-co (non-affilate link)
The three LED lights are on two different timers. 1 is on from 9-9, the other two go from 11-7. I like to do a "sunset/sunrise" cycles to help it fit better in the room, so I wish I had more options for controls on these LEDS
The halogen is on the same 11-7 cycle but I have iit directly above the rocks to help radiate the heat.
I've only had it set up for a few days now, so I'm not sure how the plants are responding yet
So you think it's getting too much or too little light? It's about a foot away from ACKE LED Grow Light (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GGX3R9T), I referenced https://growlightfinder.mrhouseplant.com/ and it said the alocasia can be 3-5inches away from the led light..so maybe I need to move it close to the light source?
It’s just a cheap one from Amazon! I believe this ACKE panel is the one I purchased.
I got it off of Amazon its super low profile and I just mounted it above my shelf.

Thanks! I got it on Amazon

It’s nothing fancy by any means, but it is modular and you can link multiple panels together. For the money, it seems like the perfect way to build an inexpensive setup
Got them off Amazon and they are named differently depending on the seller. Red+white @2700k, 20w total, these are really nice lights for only $20 text
I've had good luck with this one
I leave it on for 12hrs/day. Here’s the link... https://www.amazon.com/ACKE-Germination-Seedling-Vegetative-Flowering/dp/B07GGX3R9T?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_13975543011
