As someone with electromagnetic hypersensitivity, here are my best tips:
1. Buy an RF Acoustimeter on Amazon.com and make sure your bed is in a low RF spot (0-0.05 V/m), this is absolutely the most important to be able to actually see what your dealing with
2. Shut off your wifi at night when you sleep. There's a couple ways to achieve this, manually turn off ssid broadcast at night, use an electronic timer to auto cycle it on/off at night off ebay, or unlplug the wifi at night.
3. Don't live near cell towers, in cities, in apartments, or homes with powerlines running over them. Live in shared homes to limit wifi unit proximities to one.
Materials that are good shields: laminate sheets and velostat
Diets that are good: All the vitamins and + atoms on the left side of the periodic table get from food sources.
The readers will only get you up to 8-10 Ghtz, so you won't be able to detect upper freq. 5g . . . but it should give you a good idea. If the reader indicates that your bed is still getting to much EMF, consider getting a Faraday Canopy. If you can at least be EMF free during sleep, you can notice a huge improvement.
There are additional things you can do to prevent extra external EMF penetrating your house, but those are more cost prohibitive. Most of the stuff is from what you have and use.

Because Lyme does not hide in the blood, it hides in the tissues and near neurons, and there are many different types of Lyme Disease, it is very difficult to diagnose unless you just got bit. Sounds like a stress response is getting sent to your subconscious mind while your sleeping. Obviously your body shouldn't be releasing stress hormones when your sleeping so we'll have to check your environment for some known stressors.
Since I've seen this type of thing before, I already know you are getting to much RF radiation.

If this does not solve the problem, check your bed wall (both sides) for electrical boxes, outdoor wires, ovens, or sources of large magnetic fields.

I turn off all the wireless when I go to bed, and it actually helps a ton! Sounds like your central nervous system is overly exhausted to the point of pain. You really need to rest your nervous system, unfortunately I highly suspect your doctor is wrong, that there is a physical cause: magnetic flux.

Christianity - I think the mind is a sacred place, I don't want to tell you what to believe, but I do want to educate you on forms of psychological manipulation. Police - Never call the police. Never go to the hospital. Honestly, every mental health treatment protocol is based on pseudo science, the meds cause much more harm than good, psychiatrists have been documented over and over unable to tell the difference between healthy and unhealthy individuals, obviously dopamine and serotonin receptor binding drugs can make people feel happy, but these drugs are very neurotoxic, lead to malcious and violent behaviors, chemical dependencies, and are at best, a temporary high. Lithium actually is a good form of medicine but they over prescribe it to toxic levels where it's no longer therapeutic or more affective than other + ions that can balance electrical imbalances in the body such as magnesium, calcium, strontium, sodium, hydrogen, or beryllium.
Honestly, you can do well, but the learning curve is steep. Getting a low emf job and low emf home is optimal, but you need to know what to look for, and I can only instruct so much. So I would recommend getting an RF Acoustimeter as soon as possible, as well as a Magnetic Field Meter, go to a trade school, college debt can sink people, live in a shared home not an apartment, drink powerade every now and then because it has lots of + ions to balance all the electricity electrons- we absorb, find a place in nature you can just de-stress, your in a lot better shape than other people, but the weed + EMF fields will wreck your ambition/motivation so this will also require concentrated power of will. I used to have lucid dreams and feel very tired, but I figured out why it was happening and solved it.
Outside, I would have so much energy, I would shovel the entire lawn and drive way to make snow sculptures like this one, but inside, I would feel so exhausted, from doing nothing! It didn't make sense, and I would have nightmares and very lucid dreams at night.
Well eventually I learned about EMF. Radiowaves from wifi absorb into the body and get turned into electricity! That electricity stimulates the neurons in the body and so you go to sleep, but half your brain can't shut off and it causes lucid sleep. The electricity has to be moved through the body safely, so the body pulls out calcium from the bones to block electricity from going certain ways, and it's very tiring for the body to create blockages, but if it doesn't then the body will start to malfunction.
Now I sleep without the wifi on, I put my phone on airplane mode, and I unplug the amazon fire on the tv. My neighbor also uses a 5G router which gives me really bad nightmares, it's signal is stronger than my router which is 10' away from me! So I put mylan space blankets on the wall, and then a bunch of cases of water inside, because the mylan shield also bounces my wifi back inside, which makes me really tired! So the cases of water stacked on the wall absorbs the wifi. Sorry if it sounds complicated.
I also have an RF Acoustimeter, I think it's so important and I lend it out to my friends. I definitely recommend getting one. If you can't afford it, then you can use a free program inSSIDer 3.2 which tells the signal strength. I think less than 70 dBm is bad. I also use a humidifier because lots of water in the air absorb the wifi, I notice the difference.
Lastly, sometimes if I get a lot of wifi exposure, my brain has trouble shutting down, even after the wifi is turned off. It's like a large absorption switches on a switch so strong it gets stuck in the 'on' position but when I take Cat's Claw, my brain cools down and I pass right out and sleep without any nightmares.
