Since you won't be responding further, I'd just like to clarify that I agree somewhat with your critiques of common Reformed intellectualism and sterility, I just think your view is the equal and opposite error. Instead, I think the problems lie in the weirdness of the modern American Reformed world, and the classical Reformed tradition has resources to fix many of the problems. I would recommend Peter Leithart's book Against Christianity as similar to my own take on how the modern American conservative (especially Reformed) Church tends to go wrong in some of the ways you mention.
