That's a good point - I'd forgotten about the power needed for the PA. So I'd likely need to get an amplifier involved as well then, right?

I've got an amp rated for 60w and I want to connect it to a loudspeaker like the type on ice cream trucks. I have 2 options for speakers. One is rated at 65w but is probably too big for the space I have. The other option is 25 watt and that would fit my space better. Will it do me harm to use the 25w speaker with the 60w amp if that one speaker is all that's connected to the amp?
Also if I use that 25w speaker with the 60w amp, how will the volume be affected. I don't super care about the sound quality.
