Yeah. This is the Amazon link
It was originally a manga that got a novel version. It called “All you need is Kill” here it is on Amazon.
All You Need Is Kill https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1421527618/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qbBQDbCY0ZHKB
Yes Emily Blunt is awesome in the film. Not normally a Tom Cruise fan but seeing his transformation as it goes along is fantastic.
The light novel? It got translated officially, you should be able to buy it on Amazon in English at this link https://www.amazon.com/dp/1421527618/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_1fUByb51R2SEK
However, if you search hard enough, you can find a free pdf version online.
The translation I have is perfect, or at least close enough that I didn't noticed any awkwardness, also don't buy the movie tie-in version, it's not the same book. I don't wanna spoil too much, because it's really worth the read, but the ending isn't about winning the war, it's a smaller and more personal ending, in narrative terms it was a perfect resolution to the conflict the story set up.
There's a short/sweet read called "All you need is kill"
It's a japanese novel recently translated into english, about soldiers who wear mechanical suits to fight off an alien invasion...
Also, I know these are kinda cliche for me to mention, but if you like supersoldiers, the WH40K books (horus heresy, etc) are pretty good. Familiarity with the game is not necessary.
don't know what you're on about, I own it in english and got it pretty easily. here
I was referencing this. You might know it better by the name that it was given for the movie, The Edge of Tomorrow.
I haven't read the book, but I've heard very good things about it.
The same - All you need is Kill
After checking out the manga, i would suggest checking out the novel it's based on.
Don't know where you were reading it online, besides maybe the manga. It was licensed ages ago. Can be found on Amazon here or you can pick up the re-released movie-tie-in version here.
From all accounts, the book is better. I havn't watched the movie so can't say for sure.
All you need is kill
It's a good afternoon read. 4 hours or so.
You could always read the book it was based off of and see what it says
I hadn't read a book in the last 5+ years. Last week I picked up All You Need Is Kill because I liked the Edge of Tomorrow movie and loved it. It was a fast read at ~200 pages but it was great all the way through.
Now I picked up The Martian because I've heard a lot of good things about it. I think I actually might get back into reading now.
Paperback. You should buy it now if you don't want the rerelease with Tom Cruise on the cover. (I know I don't).
Does All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka count? It was a manga before it was adapted to being a book, so I'm not sure where that fits with your criteria.

Sansheng Death Exists Not at the River of Oblivion
>Out of all the xianxias I’ve read, this is definitely one of the shortest and simplest books. But for what it lacks in complexity, it makes up with its utterly undiluted sweetness. And even without too much angst, this author has a light, lingering way with her words that renders the story plenty poignant in its emotional moments. This is a story that follows the courtship between a stone from Hell and a god from Heaven that begins in the underworld, spans for three lifetimes in the mortal realm
