The one that i have is this one from Allen, it pushed too hard on the TRUNK and bent it.
Thanks, that's looking a little pricey. $280 for just the bars, doesn't even include the actual bike mount.
This trunk mount kit is only $80

Any downside to it I should know about?

It’s attaches to the back as seen in the listing photos if that helps
I have the basic Allen 2-bike rack. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ASSR020 It works on regular sedans and hatch-backs, but I have a little sedan. It's completely fine and feels secure; just tighten the straps. It's quick to install and uninstall, too, and it folds away to store somewhat compactly. You could get some extra straps to stop the wheels and handlebars shifting around if you want, but there's plenty extra strap to use to tie them down, too. You do need the Allen Sports Tension Bar Bicycle Cross-Bar Adaptor, Model 900B, or something similar to hang step-through bikes on it.
I don't have years of use yet, but I take my bike on the highway without worry, and for the price... you can't beat it. Especially if you don't have a hitch.

I got this bike rack and it actually works really well ok my GMC terrain with a little padding on the hooks. Said it would take a month to deliver, took under a week.
