It's this monitor stand:
I thought it was perfect because of the perforation I don't have to worry about ventilation. I was worried that it wouldn't be strong enough to hold the other way, but that top is welded on pretty good.
I just finished a node 202 build over the weekend. I am wanting to do horizontal with the motor on top. The case is surprisingly rigid but didn't trust my 27" monitor on top of it.
I've been looking at one of these, it should be big enough for the node to slide under it.
Personally, I use a metal monitor stand.
I like the monitor stand. Is this the same one?
Here ya go.
I have the 2270dw, works great, installing it wirelessly FUCKING SUCKS, but otherwise amazing printer. 8/10 (see below)
So the thing runs forever on a single cartridge, if you get the high capacity one, even longer. Its not overly heavy for its size, which in itself is pretty small. I have mine on a monitor stand to give me storage space beneath it.
It fits quite nicely on my crowded desk, allowing for school books and such beneath it, and stapler/holepuncher next to it (on the monitor stand) and even holds some things ontop of it when not in use (Welch's fruit snacks, mmmmm)
The biggest downside to the 2270 (and looking at product page, also the 2340) is that the wireless installation is a pain in the ass.
You require a separate cable to complete the installation, which means if its going to be placed in a room or far enough away from a PC that the cable wont reach it means a long process of setting up the printer next to the pc, running the installation setup to get it connected to router, then moving it to its final location and setting it up there.
All in all, once you have it setup the printer works like magic, and a new pc on the network can be printing in under 2 minutes.
If you need a printer, or still using an inkjet, buy this NAOW!
I use the top one: [link]
Works great, plenty of space and perfect height.
