For me, my go-to for it being too damn cold is Alone by Richard Byrd. Because it's nice to be reminded that no matter how cold it gets, I'm not trapped in unending night at the uttermost edge of the world, slowly poisoning myself and barely connected to the rest of the world by my shaky command of Morse Code.
