Good luck. All the CVS and Walgreens around me are out of at-home test kits. My wife bought some off a coworker who found some at a mom-and-pop pharmacy.
Amazon has a PCR collection kit if you've got time and can't get a local PCR test. I don't know why Amazon having their own PCR tests surprises me but it does.
Yes, you can.
" Where do I drop off my sample?
Drop sample at The UPS Store, UPS Drop Box or UPS Customer Center locations. UPS Access Point locations, such as CVS and other retailers may accept samples but cannot confirm next day delivery, which may result in your test being cancelled. "

I got the Amazon mail in PCR tests to have at home since getting a PCR is hard now . It was $40 to get the kit and you don’t pay anything when you send it back. I dropped it in the UPS box a little before noon on Wednesday and I had my results before 8 PM on Thursday. The report can be downloaded in a PDF and it looks just like any other lab report. I’m sure my job would accept it you might not be able to use it for an airplane because it was not supervised. They are in stock.
Some brands will bill your insurance if you have a prescription but I’m not sure if this one does. You can’t use insurance if you are going to buy it have at home. If you order it when you want the test you need to wait for it to get to your house and then send it. I think you can use HSA/FSA.

It’s currently showing as unavailable in my area
I did one of these after a bunch of events on Labor Day weekend. You just have to drop it off at a UPS store and it goes overnight to a lab back east (shipping was included with the kit). My test was in the lab and being processed by 6am Seattle time and I think I had the result around 12-1pm Seattle time. I’m sure processing times are slower with the holiday crunch but absolutely worth keeping one of these in the medicine cabinet. Pull date was good for 3 months: Amazon COVID-19 Test Collection Kit DTC — Sample processed in lab — Results in 24 hours from lab receipt — FDA Authorized PCR Test — Ages 18+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZR5XNBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_J8QJZ8T6MJ87SR85X6CF
Considering how you are feeling, I imagine that you are not going out anyway. If you live with people, I hope they are isolating too. That said, I assume you're not in that much of a hurry since, if you have covid, you're gonna do what you're already doing right?
That said, Amazon has a number of at-home PCR tests. I haven't used any, and wonder if any of the ones you are supposed to do totally at home are approved or real. But others on this board have mentioned this one which you register and then UPS back. Isolated as you are, you might have to ask someone to come grab it from you and send it back, but it's an option. And I hear the turn around is fast.
Good luck and feel better. Eat some chicken soup.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if you want to prove you have covid now, you can buy one of these tests.

I'm guessing it was this since it's Amazon's branded.

Amazon has an at-home $36 PCR test: Amazon COVID-19 Test Collection Kit DTC — FDA Authorized PCR Test Collection Kit — Results in 24 hours from lab receipt — Ages 18+. Sometimes there are restrictions, like the test has to be performed by a professional or something. But if you just need the result, this one may work.
Got a covid test at the 7th st COLOR location at 10 am Friday. Still don't have my results back yet. I can't believe we're this far into pandemic and still have results that can take this long.
If you need a PCR covid test, I'd strongly recommend the amazon at home kit. I've used it five times, had results back the next day all 5 times. NOt sure how I can send something all the way to kentucky, have them get it delivered, unboxed and then tested in way less than time it takes to get it done locally--all for <$37--but that is the case.
Not sure if this would meet the requirement for you or not. But it’s a good deal if it does.

they should take this if you have 24 hours + whatever time it takes to ship to you
Read the details for what travel docs it's good for but people say they used it to get in and out of canada
These were on Amazon for $37. Like $40 after tax. We got the results a day later. Make sure you know when your ups air drop-off time is a your local ups store.
Amazon still has PCR tests available:

If you have the time and want the best accuracy/results, PCR testing at drug stores is supposed to be covered (regardless of insurance status).
It's a little fuzzy as to what situations are/aren't covered, might differ by state, but I had to get a test last week (to cross the Canada land border) and went to the CVS down the street. I specifically answered "Taking the Test for Travel Purposes" but I wasn't billed for it, got my results back in 36 hours (they say it takes up to 2-3 days).
There are also home PCR tests that you mail-in and get results in 1-2 days - Amazon sell their own for $37 now.
My wife was exposed at work and. I couldn’t find a test sooner than Thursday. I ordered this test from Amazon 🤷🏻♂️ Amazon COVID-19 Test Collection Kit DTC — FDA Authorized PCR Test Collection Kit — Results in 24 hours from lab receipt — Ages 18+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZR5XNBM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7W1TPVZG7QCGH4Y268PG
Testing is free in California with plenty availability. Not necessarily same day, but next day you should find an appointment within a 5-mile radius. Most all pharmacies offer it, plus pop-up clinics, long-term temporary test and vaccination sites, and probably hospitals as well. [Amazon has an at-home PCR test that for $40 that you can send to a lab and get results within 24 of receipt](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08ZR5XNBM/ref=cm\_sw\_r\_tw\_dp\_DPVJEG0MZBNW6D82CRRN).
In case you need more info, here is the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Covid-19-Test-Kit/dp/B08ZR5XNBM
Price is 39.99 on Amazon. I'm willing to do less than half of that.
If you can’t get an appointment at one of the UW sites, I’ve used this PCR test from Amazon to travel to Canada.
They do. It's a mail in kit.
I have used the Amazon home PCR test and it worked great.
Walgreens was a great option, but the drive through testing slots usually fill up 7 days out.
After that? It's likely one of the private test companies (Indigo), but they're really quite expensive.
With a couple more days lead, Amazon sells a 24 hour turn around home test. You mail it overnight via air and they get you results via email within another 24 hour period. We used it a few times for travel: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Covid-19-Test-Kit/dp/B08ZR5XNBM/ref=lp_23480822011_1_5
On short notice, I think your primary option is one of the local labs or a hospital what might do it in house.
Amazon has an FDA approved collection kit for $40. You collect your own sample and mail it in via UPS. They send it to a lab -- it's a PCR test (not rapid).
I have nothing but good things to say about Genview. Just ask for the free PCR test, I usually get my results back in 4-168 hours. Highly recommend.
Do make sure you check your spam folder in your email as the results tend to go there instead of the regular inbox. This is the only quirk I have ever had with them. I have also been able to reach out to the via WhatsApp if there is an issue with my account or if I am concerned about how long it is taking for my test results to come back.
I have also had outstanding success with using Amazon's at home PCR kit. However their hours are delayed right now and they cannot be used till the 27th. That being said, I still highly recommend them, I generally get results in under 24 hours after I drop the kit off at UPS. Just make sure you pay attention to the cutoff times for UPS for the day and you should have no issues using this kit.
Amazon PCR tests are $39 and in stock… go buy for your whole family
I a a big fan of the Amazon PCR test. You order it from Amazon.com and self test at home. Then you send it to Kentucky over night and you get the results the next day. I used it to go to Canada by air last month and it worked great. It's < $40. Order it to go to your friend's house in Bellevue. Super easy and no stress.
The CVS (PCR, not rapid) test should be fine. As would the Amazon test, which I continue being surprised at how few people use or perhaps know about.
Literally order one from Amazon. Free overnight shipping to their own lab; results in less than 24 hours upon receipt.
We used the Amazon home PCR test and it was awesome. $37 including all shipping and we had the result within 24 hours after sending.
May I recommend - https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Covid-19-Test-Kit/dp/B08ZR5XNBM
Just make sure you follow the instructions correctly and leave yourself plenty of time and an emergency rapid test should something happen.
