AmazonBasics 500-Watt Ceramic Small Space Personal Mini Heater - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6xSyFbW80P29X
I’m sure any heater will do, but this one is cheap and has a safety in case it tips. I was looking at ones where you could control the temp, but decided this was a better option with the controller.
Typical heating power for a Kotasu is about 500W.
You could just toss a 500W space heater under there for 20 bucks and be done with it. You can get actual kotasu replacement heaters for about $75 that are made to attach to the underside of the table, but that's not really necessary, is it?
I can still touch it when it's been running a while, so not bad but I wouldn't run it 24/7
How big is your closet? This works great with a temp controller for a small space. Amazon Basics 500-Watt Ceramic Small Space Personal Mini Heater - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_XMKD0PP3ZC82A5JXBNDW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The one I have is just like this one except that mine is red.
I’m using a 2x2x6 tent with a 3’ wire shelf with led strips. To control the temp I’m using a 500 watt heater connected to a temp controller. Ik monos are supposed to maintain high humidity inside of the tub but I’ve noticed the heater kills the humidity inside of the tent like 20-30%Rh. That intern dries out my sub so I just have to mist more often. With all that said I’m a n00b so take it with a grain of salt.
Small space heaters with 500 to 1500 watts are readily available. One option is available as amazon basics I have also seen the same heater sold under a couple of brands at brick and mortar stores.
If you want a USB space heater your best bet is a laptop that charges from USB-C running something like folding at home. Even then you would need several to match that cheap 500w space heater. A desktop could actually get into that range.
You're pushing the thermals way too hard with this design, imo. 120mm AIO is not an option, period. Sticking a 320W TDP GPU in there is asking for a nuclear meltdown. 2080 Super users often have problems, and you're talking 70W more. If you're planning on a 95W+ CPU, the problem will be further exacerbated. This may as well be what you're building, except more fragile.
/u/inZania what brand of AC/heat did you use? I have done the same exact thing as you, except only in one of my tiny bathrooms but only using analog binary heater: like this
essentially i am able to keep it "on" all the time, and use the smart plug to control it.
I bought some Amazon Basics 500w zone heaters for 2 rooms that are slightly colder than the rest. They are plugged into smart plugs.
I use multifunctional sensors, when. The temperature drops below/above 18C the heaters turn on/off.
Those heaters just have a on/off switch making them perfect for the task.
Previously those rooms would sit at 15-17C while others would be at 18C
Edit*
I suppose you could use 2 per plug if you need more heat in 1 room but don't want to stress the plug with 1500w power like the bigger heaters.
Great concept but way to expensive. In the winter time i use to use hand warmer packets to keep my hands warm. Now i use this $20 amazon basics heater on my desk AmazonBasics 500 Watt Ceramic Personal Heater, Black https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B074MX8VN5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lDDUCbBWQ1WFY
Hey, just adding on here, if you didn't see it in the guide (you should read the full uncle Ben tek guide before you ever start) then I highly recommend this heater: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074MX8VN5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1&pldnSite=1 - cheap, effective. Combine it with this temp controller: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V4TJR00/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1&pldnSite=1 these are the ones recommended in the guide and I also use these. They're a cheap combo, an inexpensive way to keep a small space properly heated for inoculation.
I'm using the one recommendedby u/shroomscout in the innoc guide here . I initially got both a different temp controller AND a different heater that were a bit cheaper but the first heater was busted and I had them send a new one.
Didn't work. So I said eff it and ordered the proper one. Still didn't work. Turns out the temp controller was shite because it wouldn't operate anything above a certain voltage and neither the recommended heater or the other one -- or any small space heaters for that mattter -- met the max voltage criteria. So I returned it and ordered the WillHi.
It has been said before but it can't be stressed enough, just follow the guide lol.
Best,

I use a small ceramic space heater and a temperature regulated outlet to keep temps from dropping too far during lights out. Could use a bigger heater if you have a bigger tent. Mine's 3x3 and this works like a charm.
Had this problem too. An enclosure definitely helped me.
I would also get this https://www.bn-link.com/products/bn-link-digital-heat-mat-thermostat-controller-for-seed-germination-reptiles-and-brewing-40-108-f
It's really simple. The first item is used for heating pads. When it's too cold (doesn't reach temp) it will give power. Thus you can plug in an air heater instead of a mat. You get the rest.
I use this for my resin printer enclosures. With a small space heater, like https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5/
We recently did the exact same thing for our resin printing enclosures.

I'm not the only 4loko drinker on the threads that's dope. I had 2 cans last night. Amazon Basics 500-Watt Ceramic Small Space Personal Mini Heater - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_1P8HVSCV8Z0F5ER0MJRJ

https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-500-Watt-Ceramic-Personal-Heater/dp/B074MX8VN5 Like this? will it not burn an enclosed box?
i use an amazon basics heater ($30 i think) and a temp controller also from amazon (also i think $30). here's what i use and worked fine for me; this kind of investment seems totally worth it compared to heat mats which i've heard only bad things about for this stuff:: AmazonBasics 500-Watt Ceramic... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share WILLHI WH1436A Temperature... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V4TJR00?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Idk if this helps but with recent cold temps, I set up a small heater and thermostat for my 3x3 that has been working fantastically. Here's what I used:
Heater: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thermostat: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HXM5UAC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_hWjbGbEQ0JQHF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Pretty much just hook this up to your thermostat controller just as you would the heat mat and you'll be set :) good luck!
Something like this? I hadn't realized space heaters came in sizes this small honestly.

I’ve got this one: AmazonBasics 500-Watt Ceramic... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share it has a tip-over protection switch on the bottom has been working well for me so far.
Heater
Temp control if u can do a little bit of hooking wires up
For the grow totes the samla tubs at IKEA are super cheap and work a treat.
This is what I use and it's been working great for scales anything with good accuracy and to 0.001g iirc.
Also consider getting a really large clear tote for a SAB.
This is what I got in addition to an inkbird temp regulator and it keeps my jars very nicely at 76 but a lot of people say it is unnecessary.
Then he'd also able to heat this room to 95 degrees with a couple of desk heaters. If you can do that, you live in a well insulated closet.
From part 2 of the guide, "I personally use a closet with a $15 heater and a temperature controller set to 79F max and 75F min. I find that my bags fully colonize in 1-2 weeks, but sometimes faster."
You'll need both, otherwise the heater will just run and run and burn the place down. It won't heat an entire apartment, but certainly will heat a closet or cupboard. Be careful in small spaces, though.
I just ordered this AmazonBasics 500-Watt Ceramic Small Space Personal Mini Heater - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074MX8VN5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BwgkFbZTQNWZZ And WILLHI WH1436A Temperature Controller 110V Digital Thermostat Switch Sous Vide Controller NTC 10K Sensor Improved Version https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V4TJR00/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ExgkFbF3VA61R from a popular post on here from shroomscout. I’m getting mine soon I’ll let you know how it goes.
Have you tried keeping it in a warm, dry place for a while? When I want to dry something out, I usually put a cardboard box on it's side and point a small space heater towards it and leave it for a day or two. Keep the space heater on low, and make sure it is at least 3 feet away from whatever you're drying.
The heat will cause any liquid to evaporate and keep it vaporized which should help it escape through whatever crevices it got into the phone through.
