Thanks for posting this! Great solution for chair mounting a HOTAS.
I bought this chair specifically for this setup: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IFHPVEU
Gonna set it up and attach the mounts with your instructions and make a YouTube video about it.

I work online and need a more CP-friendly place to work. I have a dining room chair at the computer, but it's not soft or curved enough to prevent pain.
You can get quality desk chairs for very cheap on Amazon, this one is $65 and fairly decent from what I've read.
I use the Amazon Basics Office Chair.. For the price, it's super comfy and looks really professional. I've had no problems with it, and it comes in some very well done packaging.
I've had this chair. You just have to run the cables. But the sound is terrible and it's uncomfortable IMO. The armrests are very hard plastic. It's especially a waste if you use a headset. Tell your parents thank you, but I would return it. Just a guys opinion.
Edit: If you're going for pure comfort, I personally prefer an office chair. Like this one. I haven't owned this one, it's just an example.
I bought an Amazon Basic chair and I'm very satisfied with it. It's not a racing chair and has no gaming flair, so no increased fps, but it's really comfortable and affordable.
I just checked it out and it looks great! The only problem is it doesn't look like is has as much padding as I'd like. I want something softer like this...

Hello. I'm a DIY noob trying to get an ergo desk setup. I'm 6'2" and need a 19" seat base, but my chair is too low.
Here's an album of my chair. I can't quite find the model or manual, I put it together years and years ago. I'm wondering if I can extend the base.
Check out this chair on Amazon, I swear it's the same chair and you can see the middle base doesn't extend to the floor. But examining the chair myself, I can't tell how I would accomplish that.
EDIT: I actually found a manual on Amazon.com. This seems to suggest when I put the chair together, I just pushed the vertical elements together. But I think I just made myself look silly trying to pull the chair apart by pushing down on the legs with my legs and pulling really hard.

Does anybody have this chair?
Not sure what your idea of budget is but this is the one I have good for its price
Do you think they'll have any office chairs on sale? I was just about to purchase one on there should I wait and see if it's discounted?

I've sat in the AmazonBasics Office Chair for a few hours and thought it was super comfortable - and it's way cheap at $75. IKEA also has great chairs although I've never sat in one for an extended period of time so I'd definitely check out reviews.
Also, be sure to check out Craigslist and eBay - you could probably find a $200+ chair that's being sold in your price range!
May your leather be quiet and your lumbar supported.
