My wife bought me some of these cases as a gift and they are just a bit too thin for the buttons to make it, the silicone case will make it a little too long as well. Bought a new hard drive case off amazon and ended up using it for my pax 2, I like it because it fits all of my stuff so I can just throw it in my back pack. Here's the link if anybody is interested

I forgot to mention that a cheap hard drive case is also great for taking the POs on daily commutes, I got this one on Amazon that fits the PO perfectly and has a little pocket for headphones/extra batteries/etc.

I have a SP but I barely take it out of my room, not because I take too much care of it lol, but I just happen to play my GBC way more than my SP. I just use one of those acrylic shells around the SP and call it a day.

But I saw people suggesting external hd carrying cases like this one for some Game Boy models, and they probably can work for the SP. You can cut a piece of foam that fits the size which have the elastic strap, and then cut a square hole in the foam that fits the SP, and this will keep the SP on it's place inside the case. And the side with the mesh pocket can be used to store games and the charger.

I just never thought of hard cases for external drives. I'll check my local stores first and if they don't have anything that will work, I'll order this one!

I nabbed a couple of the hard cases, but only for display purposes... in "real world" usage, this will be my go to.

My Flydigi Wee 2 comes with a carrying pouch, but I rarely use it TBH. Most of the time it stays in the front pocket of my backpack, my controller still is holding up just fine after 8+ months.

I don't know what is the dimension of your controller, but something like a hard drive travel case might do the trick.

Even regular HDDs aren't that sensitive to drops so long as they're not being used. You mainly have to worry about not breaking off the controller where the connectors are and not dropping in the water. Otherwise, they can take some abuse including moving around while being used - unlike HDDs. Grab any external drive case and use it to carry the adapter and 2-4 drives.

Stick the CF in a ziplock and you're good to go.

I use the Amazon Basics HDD case along with a a cheap bulk microfiber sunglasses pouch.

You also dont have to use the strap. there's some wiggle room on the SP so I use it there.

I use one of these external HDD cases by Amazon Basics. It's not made to be smell proof, but it does a surprisingly good job, and was cheap.

Tbh i'd use that more for wheels and put all the dividers in, but if it works for you then great! But if you ever need a 2-3 board travel case, this is my carry case , and how I organized it. They're really cheap and useful, I keep all of my tuning in it.

I use one of these. Small enough to be portable, yet it holds a decent amount. They make a bigger version of it too, but the small one is perfect for just a road trip case.
