I’ve seen monitor stands which are either wooden or aluminum stands you put the monitor on and it raises it up. Walmart has one that’s like 15-20$ or something I think. That would be the easiest way of doing it otherwise you can get a wall mount
I use a computer with an audio out. Much smaller foot print and I used this
to put my monitor on. PS4 fits under.
As for games dragon age Inquisition, and witcher 3 if you havn't played them. Maybe life is strange also and walking dead season 3 is coming out.
Some day ill invest in some monstrosity of a three monitor armature that clamps onto my desk and gives me infinite adjustment, but for now ive got three of these and im pretty happy with them.

So you don't wreck your mags.
For anyone that has an Xbox One S, this stand from Amazon works great.
Buy a junker computer for carrying around, so your gaming machine won't get stolen. You can find good deals on small laptops by watching liliputing's deals of the day.
Buy a lock to permanently affix your laptop to your desk. This lock will be sold by your manufacturer, or fit a number of standard types.
Buy a monitor stand like this one to make room under your laptop for peripherals and cables. A metal stand can conduct heat away from your laptop, and a stand with holes can allow more air flow.
Now that you've jacked up your laptop, buy a separate keyboard and mouse that you can place in front of you. Wired mice and keyboards are better because they don't have as much latency as wireless.
Buy comfortable headphones. I bought these.
Buy electrical tape and cover all your LEDs. This is a courtesy to your roommate.
Buy a long ethernet cable.
Get lots of twist ties to bundle up your cables. Other solutions are needlessly expensive.
BONUS TIP: Learn how to remote desktop into your laptop. Your junker laptop may not have the horsepower your main laptop has, but that doesn't mean you can't remote into your machine and use SolidWorks or something.
