Amazon has a deal on a 10' x 10' straight legged canopy for under $70. Pretty good deal and you can never have too much shade
I've been super impressed with the quality of my AmazonBasics 10x10 canopy. It's only $95 and with Prime there's free shipping. It made it through Shambhala last year no problem with a bit of wind and rain.
In regards to number 4- If you can, just buy an EZ-Up, tie some sheets to the sides where the sun will be hitting you, and don't bother with a tent. That shit will be hot as fuck and provide you no shade during the day. The weather is such that sleeping under the canopy with some bedding is plenty. You really don't need a tent, and in fact I'd personally advise against one.
Couple years ago we had a foreign couple next to our campsite who just brought a tent and it was pretty rough for them. We ended up letting them use one of our extra tarps for shade, but they were still severely limited in what space they had to try and relax/cool off in. Seriously, just get an EZ-Up and you can thank me later. Just remember to stake it down and lower/take the canopy top off before you leave for the afternoon so that it doesn't get blown away and possibly fuck up yours or other people's vehicles.
Cheap 10x10 canopy ex. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0145R49C8 (got this for $60, wait for sale, try using camelcamelcamel.com to track prices)
Cheap cot (try Walmart or an army surplus store), I got a nicer Coleman one but something basic is fine. <$40 is not hard to find I got this one, actually on sale right now for <$40: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-2000003077-Converta-Folding-Cot-x/dp/B00363PS3W
Light/medium Blanket or light-weight sleeping bag (gets chilly over night)
Quad chair (often $9.99 or even cheaper at Walmart)
10x12 tarp, at least one for the side of the rising sun, you use some cheap 2" binder clips to put it up or buy spring clamps for a few bucks, try Menards or Amazon for the cheapest ones.
I'd get one of these for on-site water. This lasted the weekend for me for hand washing, making coffee, etc. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000088O9Y
Small folding table, something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Preferred-Nation-Polyester-Convenient-Included/dp/B00ZGPY31G/ I found one dirt cheap at Dick's similar to this.
Few pounds of preferred snacks. Trail mix, jerky are good choices.
*I think the above are the big essentials, IMO. *
Here are some other ideas that are starting to add more expense:
More tarps to cover more of the south side of your canopy. Tapestries are ok but don't block heat well IMO.
Grill/stove (this one is nice, both a stove side and grill side): https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Camp-Propane-Grill-Stove/dp/B000W4VD8C
You could also just get a small single stove like one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Bottle-Propane-Stove-Green/dp/B0009PUR5E https://www.amazon.com/GS-1000-Portable-Automatic-Ignition-Carrying/dp/B01MYGMO6M
Percolator to make coffee is probably the easiest way to handle coffee if you drink it, or just heat water in a kettle and you can bring a pour-over rig. I found a percolator at Menards for like $8, like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Stansport-Aluminum-Percolator-Coffee-Cups/dp/B001DC5HG6
Small (6-8") cast iron pan and you can make eggs or whatever on the stove.
I ended up cooking eggs one day and burgers another for friends and neighbors. Bit of work and cleanup, but kinda nice.
Walmart and Menards have very good deal on camping gear. Probably better than online. Dick's sometimes has some items on sale, but most stuff is a bit more expensive and less selection. Still might be worth a visit.
After a quick google of "tall tents" There are apparently several companies that have put out what is essentially a tent liner to the super quick up "canopy" tents with metal frames. They essentially clip inside the canopy frames.
EX, Buy a 10'x10' Canopy and then buy the 10'x10' Tent insert for it.
Short of that, just search Amazon for "tall tent" and there are 5K results to choose from..
This is a nice one, Instant up 80" height and 4 person...
And here's some lightly used Amazon Basics for 80 or less.
edit: here's another brand with plenty of offerings under 80 bucks and good reviews.
Would it be worth considering a cheap shade structure for rain events? Something like this:
