Oh sorry if this wasn’t clear. I am trying put the monitor via this (see the link below) but apparently the table is way too thick 😒
AmazonBasics Monitor Stand, Height Adjustable Arm Mount- Steel https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_GJlTFbFQYTJBV
I may just go with something simple like this https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=1U5LUCN583HCK&keywords=amazon+basics+monitor+arm&qid=1670430060&sprefix=%2Caps%2C46&sr=8-5
I don’t need the lift engine because I never move my monitor once it’s setup. This also has a good load rating of 22 lb. I’ll watch some videos tonight to see how it performs and if there’s any sagging and then pull the trigger if it seems good to go.
Quick Google and you can find it. Even if you didn't google, you can take one look at the arms and know that they're less than $40 each. It's a significant savings.
That said, if someone can't afford a proper arm, can they really afford a $1500 + monitor? Well, that's an entirely different argument.
Amazon (India) Link
As my table is attached to the wall, I have modified the stand base a bit. Welded and spray painted two steel plates on either side, so that I could screw it directly into the plywood. Most mounts are made for tables which are detached from the wall
It’s not available anymore but I was using an amazon basics arm. Amazon Basics Single Computer Monitor Stand – Height Adjustable Desk Arm Mount, Steel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_XD3YD0JRV1K3KKYQ8MSJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Swapped from a 32” monitor to a 38” monitor. Just had to really tighten the tilting screw.
So I have an Acer VG270P 27" monitor which I want to vesa mount on the amazonbasics monitor arm. The monitor arm only comes with a C clamp as far as I am aware, and my desk is wall mounted so I don't have a back edge to clamp it on; but I have grommet holes (First picture). So the solution I thought of was to make the grommet hole square or rectangular and mount the c clamp in it (Second picture). My only concern is, will the desk be able to hold the weight of the monitor mount if I mount it in a square grommet? Or should I just replace the monitor arm for a propper grommet mount one? The grommet mount ones I searched for were a bit out of my budget hence I did not buy them in the first place.
I was talking about using monitor arms like these : AmazonBasics Monitor Stand, Height Adjustable Arm Mount- Steel https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_2Mi-Fb6Y73NWZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I've had to buy and return it just because the tabletop started caving it at the clamp as soon as I mounted the monitor. And every other arm also uses small clamps like those so those won't work either. And this is with just one 27in monitor.
I know it's cheap but if OP intends to use such arms in the future then he should know this before going ahead.
Is the top of the table actually 230mm thick? Or is that from the top of the desk to the bottom of the drawer?
If it's with the drawer included, just take the drawer out and cut a slot in the back of it for space for the clamp to go
Amazon basics do a really good single and dual monitor arm, fits 20-100mm thick desk tops though, but I think it will work if you do what I mentioned
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_vb5WFb8PVMAY0
Can't speak to OP but you should be able to do that with basically any mount, I would've thought. I know my AmazonBasics mount can (though it will be a bit of a fath to adjust).
I found it from one retailer, but there is also similar one on Amazon: Link to Amazon
Not OP (and they have a different model to me) but I picked up two of these for my monitors (1 landscape/1 portrait). It seems to be holding its position well enough, but (at least in my orientation) it juts out a bit, so I had to move my desk a couple of inches forward.
It's not immediately obvious from the images but these do let you rotate the monitor to portrait... Which I only realised after I had installed the bracket at a 90^o angle. Still works though!
Get yourself one of those : Monitor stand

Easily win around 7-8 cm in depth. Best 30$ spend the last month.
Like I said to jzaudi, it's a very simple and cheap AmazonBasics single monitor stand. Don't know if they sell it on their .com site, but I would advise one that can raise the screen a little higher.
Amazon Basics found it to be more sturdy than the vivo competitor with a nice cable passthrough for the clean look. had to tighten every little screw on it though to compensate for the heavier monitor.
It was this one from Amazon:
Though it cannot go very high. So if you are picky or tall, you are probably better off with one that can go higher.
this is what I have right now, it's decent but I 100% wouldn't recommend it for anything larger than a 24", MAYBE 27" monitor. My monitor is much too heavy and overpowers final joint that adjusts the monitor tilt, so I had to CA glue the final tilt adjustment joint in place and it works for now.
Thanks! It's this one from Amazon Basics

Although I recommend something more heavy duty
Sure, here you go https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07DHK5DHN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You're talking about this thing,, right?
Lol no problem.
They appear to be out if stock currently, but anything similar should work
That's a longs story haha. I first had the Amazon Basics single monitor arm for the philips monitor. Then when I bought the second monitor from AOC I bought the BONTEC monitor arm assuming the holes in the back of the monitors would be at the same height. Unfortunately this is not the case. I didn't want to buy a new monitor arm, so I have decided to use both arms together. I think this is fine, I can position both monitors just the way I want, and I don't care that I have two supports
can i mount this monitor to this AmazonBasics Monitor Stand (https://www.amazon.in/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable/dp/B07DHK5DHN) ?

The two 27's are mounted to the desk via amazon basic arms. The OLED is mounted to the wall. I have zero sag issues.

This is what I use for my two ultrawide monitors stacked: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_N6hsIqw5QFKOl

I have a Viotek 34" Ultrawide with an LG Ultrawide above. These two arms work very well.
Is thisthis the arm that you got?? And if so does it still feel solid?
this arm is surprisingly good. Holds my ultra wide great and is easy to manipulate.
This is a Amazon basics monitor stand Amazon Basics - Soporte para monitor de ordenador individual - Altura ajustable en brazo de escritorio, acero https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MPHYMMM79DHRT4BMA931
yes this is VESA compatible!
I bought the Bratek DLB111 monitor arm, which is completely identical to the amazon basics monitor arm linked here: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable/dp/B07DHK5DHN
Is a great basic arm if you don't need anything too fancy. It has tilt, rotation, can move it back and forth and adjust the height too!
Thank you! Yes I used this mount https://www.amazon.it/AmazonBasics-Supporto-montaggio-scrivania-regolabile/dp/B07DHK5DHN/
I'm using this monitor arm: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07DHK5DHN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's very very sturdy and doesn't wobble.
Yes, I'm using this monitor arm: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07DHK5DHN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Is it any better than Amazon basics arm? https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Single-Monitor-Stand-Adjustable/dp/B07DHK5DHN
Since op didn't answer seems like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_-daBFb7NMHB27
I'm pretty sure you have the same degrees of freedom with almost any vesa arm: https://www.amazon.es/AmazonBasics-Soporte-Simple-monitores-ajustable/dp/B07DHK5DHN/ref=sr_1_20?__mk_es_ES=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=2GTLZDJLDIIKX&dchild=1&keywords=vesa+100x100&qid=1598971851&sprefix=vesa+%2Caps%2C184&sr=8-20
Might not be as flexible though, e.g. you have to slightly unscrew it to adjust the height, but i doubt you will be doing that often except for when you set it up.
I actually have individual arms for each monitor. They’re all clamp style from Amazon.

Amazon Basics Monitor Stand Cost: $26
Laptop Mount Tray Cost $18
Pretty affordable mount setup that does the job. Also sorry for late reply.
I'm using the standard Amazon Basics mount, it's not exactly a fully flexible monitor arm but it is working perfectly.

It's some 40$ Polish generic, but this Amazon Basics one looks very similar. Mine has two desk mounting bolts, not one.
Y'all guys mean this model here right?
