You could just get a usb extension cable on Amazon. I actually don't remember the last time I used a numpad. Maybe in 2003?
I bought a USB 3.0 extension cord - A-Male to A-Female off Amazon. Only a meter long, but it works for where I have it. There are other lengths, I'm sure.
Here is the link for the one I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NH13UFQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Well if you going to use with the included USB dac... any USB extension cable will do... I don't even think you need 3.0 but I used this Amazon Basics USB Extension 3.0 3ft. Plug the dac to the end and then your regular headset cable.
That will probably work. One thing I would suggest is adding a USB extender cable if you can get it without paying extra shipping. Typically the back of a desktop computer is too noisy for Wifi, and you'll have better results if you can move it away from the case.

No problem, I’m just a young keyboard nerd trying to help people with minor problems. If you can’t find a bluetooth adapter for it, then here’s a cheap USB extension cable : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NH13UFQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZUJoFbQK4CRYP
This worked for me: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NH13UFQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_eS2nFb12QSBRW
Is there a difference in terms of reliability when it comes to a USB extension cable versus a longer USB cable? My USB hub is far away from the device that I need to connect and I just want the best solution.
It would be the USB specifically, not the HDMI, that you'd need to unplug.
I always unplug the cables at the end of the day and put the headset away, but I'm using these to prevent warping to the computer ports.
If you don't want it to hang get one of the USB extension cables linked on the same page you posted. 3 feet is more than enough
Or if you want to go purpose specific here's a one foot extender with right angle connector
so this and this is fine for rift ?
AmazonBasics USB 3.0 A-Male to A-Female Extension Cable 3 m / 9.8 Feet
CSL - 3m Full HD HDMI cable (1.4a / 2.0) with Ethernet (High Speed) | ARC and CEC (New Mod.) | Deep Color | fully HDCP compliant / HD Ready / 3D TV / 1080p- 2160p/ 4K / Audio Return Channel
You'd be paying $50 for a glorified set of short USB and HDMI extensions. It's a total gimmick.
The HDMI port goes to the headset, along with one USB port. Now you've got two cables sticking out the front of your PC. Why is that better?
Then there's a third cable sticking out the front for...the tracking camera? Why does that need to come out of the front? It's a stationary object.
Don't buy this card. Just get two of these USB extensions and one of these HDMI extensions. Costs you $20, gives you a few extra feet, and is way more versatile.
