Would it not be more worth to just get ryzen 3600 for 10$ more?
Right now, the 3300X. That being said, it's probably $15-$20 more than it should be due to limited availability. If you want the best of both worlds, the 3600 is $266 with free delivery from Amazon AU.
https://www.amazon.com.au/AMD-Ryzen-3600-Processor-100-100000031BOX/dp/B07STGGQ18
Yes, with an RX570 you won't see any real difference in gaming performance since the GPU will hit a limit before the 3300X does. With a 5600XT/2060 you might see a small amount of improvement, especially in CPU intensive games that you play on competitive settings, which does include R6, Valorant and CSGO.
I get you want to spend the least amount you can now and ideally want to buy from a local store but the price gap between the two should be around $85 and it's currently just over half that.
I was originally going to go with the 3600, but it was either out of stock everywhere, or even more expensive than the X variant. So I just went with the 3600x.
Edit: Looks like the 3600 is $170 on Amazon at the moment which is a pretty good deal.
Ryzen 5 3600 at 17959 without card discount. Looks like a good deal if you can manage thr card discount
Heres how I did it in a mini project a few months ago -

Edit: you could also just bios update your board and get a Ryzen 5 3600 used $189 on Amazon , keep your cpu to update your bios then sell it:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_9SC1JYAVCHQ51D98DNM2
Probably best price/performance drop in would be a Ryzen 3600 it should be compatible with any motherboard the 1500x works on (possibly just need to update bios)
looks good, only thing I would change is the CPU, the 3600 is $199 on Amazon and is a generation newer and better overall: https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18
Also, I do believe there are some cheaper PSU's out there but your current one is not a bad choice either.
286.99 @ Amazon currently
Amazon has them for 289. You have to click the other sellers link. Still a rip. Also you can get faster shipping on Ali but that kind of negates the reasonable price. Some stuff I have been getting in under 2 weeks though. I got my 3600 from there.
As the other guy pointed out your motherboard and couldn't won't fit together at the moment. But if honestly stick with that motherboard and swap it the processor for a Ryzen 3600 which would probably give you enough left in your budget to trade up to a 2060 or a 5600xt for a gpu (though if you can wait at all for about two months you should, buying graphics cards is crap in general at the moment unavailability of the new cards has put pressure on, and driven up the price of even the older cards)
If you want to stick with Intel then unless you have a specific reason for the i7 then I'd go for an i5, you'll save a bundle (which as above you can put to a better gpu!) For gaming you probably won't get anywhere near the frame per second uplift from having an i7 vs i5 that you will from having a better gpu.
I think the other parts looked okay, you'll probably get more detailed responses if you listed it your parts with links!
I dont see an X or XT in the title but this is the one I saw yesterday (the price has since dropped to $199. Seems to fluctuate a bit):
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07STGGQ18/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Would this be an adequate swap especially since its (now) cheaper?
Still looking for the GPU. What is the biggest difference in the 2060 VS the 3060 ti? 3060 seems sold out everywhere. I would prefer not to sacrifice speed if its just a matter of waiting.
Also, if I go ahead and purchase everything except the GPU, am I putting myself at much of a risk as far as flexibility? Id like to go ahead and begin building it, and hope the 3060 becomes available, but if it doesnt I dont want to have limited myself if that makes sense.
Thanks again. Sorry if I am asking dumb questions.

Hey thanks for replying. Ill for sure make certain that my ram is seated correctly to avoid that major head ache. The cpu as I understand at least from Amazon includes a fan for it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_sR3MDb0KYX10C
And it seems it comes with thermal paste as well so I don't need to buy a whole tube of it. I play a lot of games though, stuff like total war and Arma 3 but mostly strategy games. I'm looking to be able to play these max with no frame dips and have room to grow into. Hoping my cpu is plenty strong enough to last a few years.
You make a fine argument. I'd like to offer a counterpoint. Intel keeps changing the socket.
AMD is on the third generation in the same socket. If you catch a deal on a current gen AMD board, you can move into the next upgrade even cheaper.
AMD is selling on Amazon, and the "Frequently bought together" has a processor with cooler, motherboard, and 16GB RAM listed there is $369. Throw in the storage and video solution from your old Intel system, and your gaming under $400. Even cheaper if you can find a deal on something used.
Thank you!
I'll go for the kingston drive.
About the 3600 - for some weird reason its 500 bucks more than the 3600x (link)
Ary recommendations for a cooler (hopefully one that doesn't have rgb)?
Also just as i'm looking at it... if you're paying nearly $200 for the Ryzen 3 3300X get a Ryzen 5 3600 instead! it's a 6-core 12-thread processor and is much more capable than the 3300X while being cheaper than that price you'd be paying at PCByte.
Ryzen 5 3600 cost seems to be inflated by a huge margin. 19100-1500( sbi dis) = 17600
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_By7lFbDRN0Q5M
Is this a right price ?? Or at what price must I buy .pls advice. Also , shoudl I go with rtx 2060 or the 1660Ti ??? Is Galax or inno3d or zotac. Which is preferred .
Pls help first build.. thank you so much
PcPartPicker should have their own entries, a good budget Ryzen 3rd gen is the 3200G which I’ve heard good stuff about. I run a 3600 in my VR rig and it’s more than capable for heavy physics calculations which are becoming more mainstream in VR. Here’s an Amazon link nonetheless: https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18/
I couldn’t recommend any single B550 as I’ve never owned a mobo with that chipset myself. I do have a friend who just got one and he loves it, although it’s a rather high end one, so more on the pricey side. Honestly anything MSI or Gigabyte. Asus I hear good things about too but I’ve had a bad experience with their mobos in the past so I’ve steered clear of them.
Ryzen 5 3600 is currently in stock on Amazon for $167.
Comunque chiaramente gioco tutto in ultra senza problemi.
My apologies for bugging you, but could you confirm this is the identical cpu as the one I listed? It's $287 on Amazon. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core/12 Threads AM4 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler, 100-100000031BOX https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_UzakEb8F03868
Here’s the 3600 on amazon. The 3600x is $15 more and comes with a better cooler for better clocks if you want it. Idk if the price is better on Newegg compared to amazon https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=3600&qid=1575336017&s=electronics&sr=1-3
For b450 msi has good boards. Get one that meets your needs
>45-50k max..
Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 2060 Super/Radeon 5700/Radeon 5700XT.
Just want to give an alternative, much cheaper option that will perform very well and within touching distance of all the games you've listed.
Source. They test it against the i5-9600K. Which is again very close to the i7-9700K in gaming which is suggested by /u/aleks_1999 as can be seen here.

The warning that it needs a BIOS upgrade can be ignored. MSI their "MAX" motherboards are out of the box ready for Ryzen 3000 series.
For a FHD monitor, parts selection looks fine although it could do with some price optimisations.
The Ryzen 5 3600 is better purchased now off Amazon AU for $266. Great customer service and local stock. Newegg CS is pretty much non existent.
Preorder the ASRock AMD B550M Pro4 mATX board off PC Byte for $169. Better value than the Tomahawk with current pricing and PCIe 4.0 for more future options.
Not really worth the extra expense of 3600 CL16 when 3200mhz is $99.
Pickup a RTX 2060 at Shopping Express for $459. Equivalent performance to a 5600XT but cheaper.
Consider a new case with the savings. A Silverstone PS15B has all the fans, cooling and build quality you want for $89 in a much smaller and lighter form factor. That CM Stormtrooper would be something I would have loved to have 10 years ago but is a bit dated by today's standards and so heavy and bulky.
So I posted this morning that Dell screwed me and deleted my order. Offered to redo it but it was going to take another 10 days. I said fuck it and decided to make my own pc with blackjack and hookers. I'm not big in the pc building world, but I do it for a living. If someone wants to critique my build thats cool.

2) With the cooler money get a 2060. https://www.primeabgb.com/online-price-reviews-india/inno3d-geforce-rtx-2060-twin-x2-6gb-gddr6-gaming-graphics-card-n20602-06d6-1710va15l/

4) Get 16 gb ram 3200MHz for 6900.
5) Get a cx 440 your build does not need 650W. I repeat again your build does not need a CX 650.
6) Get a cheaper HDD for 3.5K to 4K.
7) Get a 3.5k case no need 8k. If you particularly like the look of a case get it but should be bellow 5.5k.
So esentially you would be looking for a build like this-

You can cut even more by going Asrock B450M Pro-4F (7299) if you don't care of overclocking/future upgradability. This makes PC better in every way except portability.
Hello, I would recommend that that you change your CPU to Ryzen 5 3600.
This processor is significantly faster and most importantly, is more compatible with more RAM. Incase you don't know, Ryzen 1st generation had compatibility problems, however with the newer generations (Series 2000+) this doesn't seem to be a problem.
The link below, is for the Ryzen 5 3600 at $199.99. Finally, hope you enjoy your build!
I would get a ryzen 5 3600 for the cpu and an ASrock b450m pro4 for the motherboard, should cost $250.
The 3600 is the best price performance cpu rn and the pro4 is a good budget motherboard to pair with it if you don't plan on doing big overclocks.

I would strongly encourage you to look at pricing for the Ryzen 3600, i5-10400F, i5-10400, i5-11400, and i5-11400F.
The 9600K is a very old CPU, and not worth the price you're paying. The graphics card normally retailed for about $145-$150 last year, and was considered a bad value back then.
$310 is 22,442 INR.
The Ryzen 3600 is 18,899 INR:

Had to go to Google to find this but I think its sold out from Amazon but not their partners.
Go with the 5600x - the IPC, cache and memory latency improvements from the 3700x make it the better buy, even with 2 less cores. 6 cores 12 threads at these speeds will last you the next 2+ years just fine.
https://www.techspot.com/review/2135-amd-ryzen-5600x/
If you have the option of the Ryzen 5 5600X or the 3700X for $300, you should absolutely <em>get the 5600X</em> in our opinion. It’s a lot better right now in games and we expect that still be the case in a few years' time. Or save your money and <em>get the R5 3600</em> as it still gets the most out of high-end GPUs at 1440p, or if you can wait for the Ryzen 5 5600.
Awesome - thanks so much!
So I'm looking at AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and MSI Performance Gaming. These two pieces should be compatible with my current machine so it would just be a matter of plug and play? I also have this SSD already installed with all my files and windows - I'm not sure if this matters.
Any reason for 9400f and not 3600?
If only for gaming I would suggest this build-
TOTAL PRICE AS OF 21st JULY = RUPEES 76,415.
Add HDD later. Prices for HDD are kind of expensive.
This has 2060 which is way better than 1660 . It will outperform the 1660 build in every way. Also 3600 is better than the 9600f.
This is at the upper end of your budget and I'll update with a suitable RX 5600 XT model (better value especially considering you're playing at 1080p). CPU is from Amazon US and you can purchase through AU (still good warranty and free shipping with Prime), RAM from Mwave and PSU from Mwave.

the price of 3600 keeps going down :) $155 on amazon..

let see if it it will be $100-$120 on black friday.. if yes.. then i will build two PCs this black friday :)
The Ryzen 5 3600 is $159 on amazon right now and is much better then the 2600x or the 2600. (User benchmark link to give you an idea: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-5-2600-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3600/3955vs4040)
As for ram the ripjaws 3600 kit is a better value for a ryzen build but is slightly more money.
The power supply would be fine for that price but I would be careful of a PSU that is not as well know as EVGA or corsair. BTW Power supplies are priced about as high as they get right now because of Covid.
The SSD you picked out would be fine but i think that you will want more storage in the long run. I would recommend the Barracuda 2tb hard drive because more is always better.
The 1660 super is fine for now but it will start to show its age soon so I would recommend a 2060. The 2060 will give much better performance but is also about $75 more.
This is a build I just put together:
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory ($77.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB OC Rev 2.0 Video Card ($319.99 @ Best Buy)
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR400 (w/ODD) MicroATX Mid Tower Case ($64.98 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA B5 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $911.89
Now just an FYI: I dont want to up sell you on a PC because $912 would be little over your budget if you count tax. With this build you would get much better performance for much longer. If you have any questions about why I chose what I choose don't forget to ask. Also, don't forget to use User benchmark to get a general idea of the performance of hardware.
Hope this helps!
>just don't understand the Intel trashing
I didn't take any part of the video as 'Intel trashing' at all. Typically it's a value proposition where AMD can deliver 90% of the performance for 50% of the cost. It's just a better value for AMD at this point.
I don't know where you are that a 10400f is lower priced than R5 3600 but in the US, anyone across the 50 states can by a Ryzen 5 3600 for $159 on Amazon. I see Core i5 10400 (non F) at Micro Center for $179 which is about the cheapest I can imagine finding one of those and their only available at a few physical retail locations. I can't find any online readily available in the US and NewEgg has them for $223.
And then AM4 B450 motherboards ~~were made for Zen 2~~ (no need for B550 right now), allow overclocking CPU and RAM are a dime a dozen for less than $100. So as a package for MUCH less than Intel, a R5 3600 bundle is just the better buy.
That doesn't mean anything is wrong with Intel. If you want that last 10%+ gaming performance have at it, but most won't 'recommend' it due to the value proposition against AMD these days. And of course, this entire argument ignores that AMD is favored in nearly every multi-threaded productivity benchmark situation.
Is it worth it to spring for the ryzen 5 3600? Only $10 extra on Amazon right now from the 1600 but I'm not sure if it's better for gaming
Ryzen 5 3600 is on sale right now for $166 on amazon

For the boost in performance in games I'd say it's worth the extra $60, and it's futureproof. This thing competes against $300 CPUs, definitely best price to performance currently.
Watch this vid and you'll get an idea of how they compare, and decide for yourself whether it's worth it (start at 3:08): https://youtu.be/3EnuFLfQczI
Otherwise this build is monstrous. Only other thing I can reccomend is maybe getting an aftermarket cpu cooler if you do get the 3600 (they run hot).

New Ryzen 3600 on amazon for $172.34 with free shipping
https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18
Any reason you're going for the 3200g? The Ryzen 5 3600 is $174 on Amazon. 2 more cores and higher boost clock.
Considering you're getting a mid tower, you can go for an ATX motherboard if you so desire.
These Crucial RAM sticks have similar timings are cheaper and are Micron E die so you can probably tighten the timings and go up to 3600 MHz.
It'll be very tight. I'm new to this myself so don't just run with what I say, keep researching especially when you're working on a tight budget. Others may be more confident in cutting corners. That being said, this could be a starting point (I haven't included a case as it's very subjective):
PCPartPicker list here (as close as I could get it to the Amazon list below.)
Below is a parts list I made on Amazon.co.uk, not sure if it's the same GPU across both lists.
Type | Item | Price |
---|---|---|
CPU | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | £174.99 ~~£199.99~~ |
Motherboard | MSI B450-A PRO MAX Motherboard ATX, AM4 | £94.99 |
Memory | Crucial Ballistix 16Gb (2x8) 3200MHz | £74.99 |

I hope that helps as a starting point anyway. All the best.
Fair enough. But the Ryzen 5 3600 is on sale on Amazon right now. Amazon link.

Hello! due to your budget I would suggest going with a ryzen build PC. For the CPU i would suggest the Ryzen 5 3600, motherboard: the asrock B550M pro4, storage can be anything with at least 500 gb of storage (preferably an ssd but if needed a hdd can be used), the graphics card is a bit tricky at the moment with the current market, but if your pushing your price limit, try to find a used 1060, if you have money to spare, a 1080, 1080TI, 2070, 2070 super, or 3060ti. there are almost no graphics cards being sold at msrp, so finding one will not be easy. for a power supply i would go with an apeva 800 Watt power supply. For the case, go with any case that fits an ATX motherboard, just pick one that looks cool and has good reviews! I will add links below:)

Ryzen 5 3600: 724.50
Jonsbo CR1000 CPU Cooler: 108.45
MSI B550-A PRO: 465.99
OLOy Warhawk 3600 MHz CL18 16 GB (2x8) RAM: 331.11
Samsung 980 500 GB: 233.02
Phanteks Eclipse P360A White: 275.04
Phanteks SK120: 99.99
Logitech MK235: 69.00
Corsair RM 750W: 433.16
Monoprice 27" 1440p 144Hz 1ms TN Monitor: 924.96
Total is 3665.22 AED, or just shy of $1000 USD. This leaves only $200 for a GPU in a Ryzen 5 3600, B550, and 16 GB 3600 MHz RAM configuration..
Alternatively, if you change out the motherboard, CPU and RAM for a B560, 10400F, and 3200 MHz CL16 respectively:
10400F: 640
ASRock B560 Pro4: 487.00
OLOy 16 GB 3200 MHz CL16 RAM: 268.42
Total with the rest of the list: 3499.04, which releases another $50 towards a GPU. You're probably going to have to go over budget slightly by $100-150 if you're wanting to get a 1070 used (since they've been discontinued.) Otherwise a 1660/Super may work.
I got some stuff ryzen 5 3600 https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07WC724Z7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_2YXXMBQGQ0THWQWE5C81?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 (msi motherboard)
Ryzen 3600 It looks like this comes with a CPU fan correct?
16gb RAM (Corsaire) There may be better options. If you know any, I'm all ears.
Gigabyte DS3H Wifi Micro ATX Motherboard I got confused for a second as I thought this wouldn't support the CPU but I found out Ryzen 5 doesn't mean 5th gen.
4K 60hz Monitor I will probably try and find a better price option but I want to confirm this would be the right type of monitor.
Unsurprisingly, the 1660 super is nowhere to be found. I have checked Ebay and found some with above standard prices but I'm confused. I don't know if I want to take the prices from what seem to be scalpers (one guy was selling 28) but there were so many different looking cards. Some were Asus with dual fans, others said MSI with one, how do I know which is right, much less get one in the first place. I did find this on Newegg but I'm very confused by it. It says it's an Nvidia GeForce card, yet it has the MSI logo. Is that just because MSI manufactures it? I am willing to pay a higher price than the baseline if needed, but when I search GTX 1660 Super, I get a thousand different models from everywhere. What do I trust?
For example of what I mean, here's another model with a different price than the other.
you know the 3600 is a CPU, not a GPU, right?

By its specs it says only IPS, albeit 8 bit.
I also wonder if I should spend right now CAD300 on a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler, or wait for the 5700 XT to be restocked. Don't own any new games yet...

Unless you need the extra cores and threads for tasks like video encoding, the Ryzen 5 3600 is still the best value for money in terms of AMD CPUs:

I am ready to finally build my first computer. Here are the parts.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO ProSeries Motherboard
GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1070
RAM: Crucial 16GB Ballistix DDR4 3600 MHz UDIMM Gaming Desktop Memory Kit (2 x 8GB, Black)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition
PSU: EVGA 110-BQ-0600-K1 600 BQ
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital
SSD: Already have one. Samsung 860 EVO. Any suggestion for a good budget NVMe 500GB SSD??
I will need Thermal Paste right to connect the CPU to my fans?
Any other problems with this build? Any other parts you'd suggest or change to reduce price without losing much performance? Or does everything look good?
Good luck dude! Don't overpay for a used 3600 they're always in stock now for $200
https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18
OK. Yeah, so some of those parts are definitely not available here. I did a quick browse of Amazon, and have a few substitutions for parts.
I picked generic memory because it's good enough for the example, and that brand has worked well for me. Computer cases are a matter of personal style. I tried to pick one that looks similar to your choice.
Video cards - really expensive right now. The one you picked is going for almost the entire budget.
This still needs a keyboard, mouse, monitor, Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 ¥26,644
GIGABYTE B450M DS3H V2 ¥8,448
CFD Crucial (DDR4-3200) (2 x 8GB) ¥9,480
FSP 80+ SILVER ATX Power Supply 650W [ HS-650 ] ¥7,843
Crucial Solid State Drive (SSD) MX500 500GB ¥6,182
Corsair Carbide 275R Case [Tempered Glass Model] Black ¥8,055
At this point we are at ¥66,652 without a video card. Kinda hard to suggest one as many are out of stock, but a ballpark figure is about ¥40,000 for a GTX 1660 chipset.

You can easily find a CPU for gaming. Just the brand new releases are hard to grab.
keep checking prices, they fluctuate, rn the r 3600 is available for its normal 199 price on amazon
https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18
Yea parts are expensive right now, don't pay that much for the CPU. Here is a Ryzen 5 3600 for $199.99 I also found an RM750 for $124.99. On the Corsair website, they have 2x8gb of RAM for $99.99 free shipping and you can use promo code "PSI" to get 10% off so $90.
I would personally recomend checking out DaVinci Resolve, the base version is pretty much free and I have used it in the past (its def an adobe level competitor).
When it comes to the pc build, you will probably be looking at a ryzen 5, 6 core cpu, 16gb ram and the best gpu you can get for the price.
a quick amazon search gives me these prices, if you compare prices from other shops you might get better prices:
ryzen 5 3600 ($200) https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=ryzen+5&qid=1609151648&sr=8-2
b450 motherboard ($65+, this is just an example remember!) https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-B450M-DS3H-V2-Motherboard/dp/B08KWMXGQW/ref=sxin_9_ac_d_rm?ac_md=1-1-YjQ1MCBtb3RoZXJib2FyZA%3D%3D-ac_d_rm&cv_ct_cx=b450&dchild=1&keywords=b450&pd_rd_i=B08KWMXGQW&pd_rd_r=b592d324-b223-491e-a976-
case ($50+) a decent case can be found at about $50+, it really is depending on choice and offers here really.
600w+ psu from a reputable brand ($60+) (P.S. DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON THE PSU! get a decent one, believe me, it is worth it) https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-100-BR-0600-K1-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B07DTP6QKG/ref=sr_1_14?dchild=1&keywords=600w+psu&qid=1609152266&sr=8-14
500gb SSD ($55) https://www.amazon.com/Blue-NAND-500GB-SSD-WDS500G2B0A/dp/B073SBZ8YH/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=500gb+ssd&qid=1609152446&sr=8-4
all this comes out to under $500, all you would need now is a GPU. On the cheaper end you could go for an RX 580 (1080p 60fps med/high settings) or you could invest more and go for something along the lines of a gtx 1660TI/super, which should push the 1080p 60fps high/ultra settings in most games.
Don’t know where you’re looking at. Most of these have been in stock at msrp for sometime now (except walmart but I always see it on here at 199.99 or sometimes 174.99)

Could save $20 on RAM if RGB is not important to you.
I have only ever bought cheap stuff gpu anti sag, led plates etc. my girlfriend orders all her nail stuff from there no issues just like 6 weeks to deliver. There are a lot of videos on pc hardware though:
I know the r5 3600 has been 199 US as of late I grabbed one for a clients pc build. Amazon and walmart. 60pound difference unless you have someon in us (assuming you are not) that can buy and ship to you. Only 147 pounds. 3600 Amazon UK 3600 Amazon US
what is the 2600x setting you back? I ask because amazon has it listed 205 but R5 3600 is 199
and the asrock b450? Amazon says 75 however 20 more gets you This
Case wise, I just built in this and added fans super easy, had i seen this or this i could have saved 35.00 on my clients build case is very nice for the price too. I think at least one of the three come in white too.
If you're not in a hurry this is an upgrade from the standard 1650 and if you are spending 275 on a 1650 its a few pesos more. Or you can pick up a used one on this forum probably better price if not a 1660.
think thats all I have to reccomend.

Temps are 70° CPU and 62° GPU at 100% load with the CPU fan running at 1500rpm and GPU fans at 1100RPM. Even though I only bought the GPU 6 months ago, I repasted it just because and temps dropped 8° under load and 12° at idle (who knows when it was assembled, but the factory paste why dry-ish).

Beautiful tiny PC but here's a very friendly price break down. I'm using new prices here from Amazon except for the fan. This isn't taking into consideration whether the parts are a day or a year old they are officially used and if you go off of even good/average to great /r/hardwareswap deals this would be quite cheaper and it's hard to add a building tax to a community full of builders.
RAM $90 - XPG 3200 MHz 16GB RGB
FAN $24 - 25mm 4000 RPM Delta Fan
CASE - GEEEK A30 + Riser Cable + Shipping = $100.67 (for me)
This is $1,113 for everything, basically new.
I don't really think it's a terrible price at all but the nature of this sub seems to be getting great deals so you can pretty much build a PC you would have never had if you just bought everything new on Amazon etc, especially since I believe this sub is full of PC builders. I have seen some absurd deals on this sub reddit that make me want to quit my job so I can just refresh constantly and that's because I've had a full system for awhile. Just a little food for thought for anybody. With some commitment to checking here you can get a great build for way below retail cost of the parts.
Ryzen 5 3600 is pretty much neck and neck with the Ryzen 7 1700 in multithreaded applications, even with 2 cores and 4 threads less.
£190 gets you a brand new one from Amazon.

CPU is here. I'd get a better SSD (NVMe), a cheaper HDD, a cheaper GPU, and I couldn't find your case on Amazon.de so I put a different case in. There's no problem with using your case if you can find and acquire it though. All prices from Amazon.de.

The instant downvoting I think is likely a bot that probably just downvotes everything. I see so many posts that get 0 points and 50% upvoted pretty much right after getting posted, and I don't think it has to do specifically with liking or disliking the product or price. Now, the onslaught of downvotes it's getting now was probably due to pointing out that you were getting downvoted.
Do note that some people might not like your price because the Ryzen 5 3600 is only like $195 at Amazon and B&H right now, both of which appear to include that 3-month game pass thing. Even with a "typical" 6-7% sales tax, the processor would end up only being like $7-9 more than your asking price woth potentially quicker shipping/arrival time, and $5 less for the many who don't get charged sales tax at B&H.
Put those prices in Checkmate.

You head of https://www.logicalincrements.com/ before? Set it to Canadian Dollars
In most respects building a VR PC is gonna be the same as building a gaming PC. Just trying to get the best price/performance ratios. I'm not sure where you've heard the 1660ti is shit for VR, as far as I know it should be fine. Not worldbeating performance, but good for the price. Are there specific issues you've heard of?
I'd probably recc an intel chip for single threaded performance, as they often have a slight edge in games etc. Though the r5-3600 and 3600X are pretty hot right now. Some decent bundles on amazon. Are you looking to spend $1000 total, and if so, how much have you already spent?

Dude it's $20 everywhere online.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lsdkFbQRTA1TG
The 3600 is having a huge sale right now:https://smile.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=3600&qid=1596137444&sr=8-2
The 3600 is overall a better chip than the 2600x in many ways (including 1% lows in games), so if you are looking to upgrade, now would be a pretty descent time to do it.
Comparison of the 3600 vs. r5 2600x:
https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/ryzen-3600-vs-2600x.3513008/
Also keep in mind that if you do upgrade to the 3600, you can easily resell your 2600x and recoup 75-80% of what you spend on the 3600.
The 4000-series CPUs are also expected to arrive within a few months, so if you want to wait 4 months and pay an additional $50, the 4600 is expected to be 10-20% faster than the 3600 and serve as a more meaningful upgrade (if your motherboard will support it).
You're also on some pretty old hardware and shouldn't be surprised you're having issues.
My advice? Drop $300 on a Ryzen 5 3600 and an MSI B450 TOMAHAWK.
CPU: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
You clearly don't know what you're talking about, but okay.
Anyway, your CPU is a 4 core processor. CSGO is a minimally multi-threaded game from 2013 while Valorant is an extremely multithreaded game from 2020 and you're running on a CPU from 2015. What do you expect...?
My advice? Drop $300 on a Ryzen 5 3600 and an MSI B450 TOMAHAWK.
CPU: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
I would actually recommend a different route and use that money to upgrade your cpu (which will require a new mobo as well).
That i5 7500 just doesn’t cut it for new games anymore, yet the 1070 is still a decent GPU.
You’ll see a pretty decent frame boost with this upgrade as well.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JO5fFb4F2XM3Y
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition CPU Air Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H25DYM3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_uP5fFbQ5YGZ9H
Asus AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX motherboard with PCIe 4.0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SXF8GY3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_cP5fFb3DW64FE
I checked the Turkish market for Ryzen 3600 and a fitting motherboard. I can afford both easily. Would 3600 perform better than a 2600? I could even get 3600x if its better (im not into overclocking)
Oh yeah you're right its not the same.
Its 20 pounds cheaper
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_C3teFbHBA79BR
I don’t think it’ll sell at your price.
Ok I soent quite a lot on mine $1,000+ actually I got lucky though because my birthday was just a few days ago. Here are some recommendations I hahe in trying to keep with that budget.
CPU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ki2FFbC0F6H0V
GPU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y66K3XD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ag2FFbM82WJS2
Psu: depends on the other parts you go with. I recommend using PC part picker to deter main the voltage so you know what psu to get. Also it’s great for comparing things in general. I just wouldn’t buy from anything that isn’t reputable like Newegg, or amazon or some if your recognize.
Motherboard: something ryzen compatible. I got mine with onboard wifi because that was important to me. Make sure it’s compatible with the generation of ryzen processor as well.
Case: I beleieve the smaller the cheaper. But also the less space so might wanna get a micro atx motherboard if you go smaller on the case. Make sure to check the sizes of things before you buy them.

This is basically my specs minus the case the app that I used to make the table didn’t have the case I used to build the pc. I forgot exactly what my parts are because I built my system a couple of years ago. I plan on upgrading very soon.

Here are the parts I’m using plus and Amazon link for each:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600, https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18. I’m also going to be using the stock cooler for now because I don’t plan on overclocking.
For the GPU I’m planning on getting a second hand RTX 2060 in the coming weeks. I’m hoping to get a good price from people upgrading from a 2060 to one of the 3000 series cards.
For the ram I chose the 2x8GB Patriot Viper Steel 3733 DDR4 RAM https://www.amazon.com/Patriot-Viper-3733MHz-Gunmetal-heatshield/dp/B07N43CYMS. This ram seems like it’s pretty much what I’m looking for and a reasonable price.
For the motherboard I chose the Gigabyte A520M DS3H AM4 socket A520 chipset micro-ATX board https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-MicroATX-Digital-Interfaces-Motherboard/dp/B08F7J8XTV.
For the power supply I chose the EVGA 600 Ba, 80 Plus Bronze 600w, Power Supply 100-Ba-0600-K1 https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Bronze-Power-Supply-100-Ba-0600-K1/dp/B08BNRGWXZ. I chose this because the wires are black and the EVGA power supply in my first computer hasn’t given me any problems.
For the HDD I chose a western digital 2T WD blue. For some reason the link I had saved isn’t working but it’s just a standard SATA HDD.
I also chose a WD blue SN550 500GB M2 SSD https://www.amazon.com/Blue-SN550-500GB-NVMe-Internal/dp/B07YFF3JCN. I’ve never used an M2 before so this sounds interesting.
For the case I chose a Darkflash DLM21 White micro-ATX tower https://www.amazon.com/darkFlash-MicroATX-Computer-Magnetic-Tempered/dp/B07R4L54NX. I chose this one because I’m going for a small computer with a white outside and mostly black inside. I also hear a lot of good things about this case, and it’s cheap enough that it won’t be a large portion of the cost of this build.
I’m also going to buy some case fans, but I’m not sure what I want with them yet.
I cant find a$175 3600 on amazon
$204 + $33 shipping and taxes

R6 3600 $276 shipped - https://www.amazon.com.au/AMD-Ryzen-3600-Processor-100-100000031BOX/dp/B07STGGQ18
That alone is probs around 30 to 50 saving? Have a look on amazon for all the stuff you're buying mate. They do US and UK imports which are heaps cheaper and ship pretty quickly (Around 1 week in my experience). Shipping is also free if you get amazon prime, even the free trial.
I'm pretty confident you will find RAM, and storage for cheaper there as well. Possibly even cheaper GPU
So, is this what you all recommend

>I don't know how you came to the conclusion a rig with R5 3600 and RTX 2060S will cost above 1 lakh?
Ans:
>All of the other components are taken at amazon and mdcomputers price.
R5 3600 is itself 20k on amazon and 17k on md,etc.https://www.amazon.in/AMD-Ryzen-3600-Processor-100000031BOX/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=ryzen+5+3600&qid=1598385741&sr=8-1
2060s around 37 from GALAX. Zotac is around 40k.https://www.amazon.in/GALAX-GeForce-2060-Super-1-Click/dp/B07W97BNGQ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=2060+super&qid=1598385822&sr=8-1
A 1440P IPS 60hz BENQ monitor costs around 24k brand new, so as I said even if you were to buy a Chinese brand brand new, I considered 15k.https://www.amazon.in/BenQ-BL2420PT-Resolution-Designer-Monitor/dp/B00UAMYTR8/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3V5JXDH9MYVM4&dchild=1&keywords=1440p+60hz+monitor&qid=1598386141&refinements=p_n_feature_two_browse-bin%3A2595397031&rnid=1464361031&s=computers&sprefix=1440p+6%2Caps%2C322&sr=1-1
That brings the total to around 82k
The case itself is around another 6k on mdcomputers.https://mdcomputers.in/gigabyte-black-ac300w.html88k.A 16GB 3200 ram stick by GSkill is around 8.5k.
https://www.amazon.in/G-Skill-Trident-Memory-Module-3200Mhz/dp/B07FXCY2DD/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=16GB+3200&qid=1598386315&sr=8-2
96.5k.

Since I couldn't find the price around CV600( which I assume is OPs psu), I went with Thermaltake 80+. Around 4.6k
https://mdcomputers.in/thermaltake-smart-rgb-600-watt-80-plus-standard-ps-spr-0600nhsawe-1.html
101k.
Cooler master combo, 3k
https://mdcomputers.in/thermaltake-smart-rgb-600-watt-80-plus-standard-ps-spr-0600nhsawe-1.html
104k.
Even if you were to buy 3600 from md at 17k instead of amazon 20k, its still 101k(>1 lakh).
Next:
>Also even if you make a build with 2060 instead of 2060 Super it will still outperform OP's rig.
No.https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2060-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1080/4034vs3603
>That 1700 can be bought for 12k new
We are calculating the price of a 2nd hand rig vs the cost to set it up from scratch. So why shouldn't I compare the price of the cost to buy all the new components v/s the cost to buy a similar used pre-built? GTX 1080 is still a decent card and if the price is good its still worth it especially if you are happy with medium-high settings for the foreseeable future. I mentioned the lack of usage because then the components will be in a relatively better state especially the GPU unlike a heavily used mining rig GPU for instance.

Alright, you've been pretty rude but I'll still help you. If you REALLY want to stream or make content with a quest the easiest solution is using Link, if your router is good enough you can also use Virtual Dekstop. You do not need a $500 Ryzen CPU, down below I will include an amazon link for a cpu which should work just fine. As for a cable if you wish to use Link you can find any decent length USB A 3.0 to USB C, I will leave a guide for Virtual Desktop and Link as well.

~$550 after shipping for some very respectable upgrades. 32GB of RAM is overkill for gaming. The Wraith stock cooler is also fine for a 3600 and you always have the option of buying a Hyper 212 Black Edition later.

Also the 3600 is $166 dollars on amazon. Could put that saved money into an ssd.
Oh, you're in the UK. That's a context that matters. I live in the US and I am unsure where OP lives.
The 10400F shows £168.48 for me; and the non-F is £189.06.
They are still more expensive than the 3600, which is showing £152.95 for me. Granted 168 is not twice as big as 152; I was making that comment towards stuff like the 8100, 9100F (and in US prices 1600AF, almost 3300X).

(Also you can trim those links. everything including and after the /ref=
can be cut out. What really matters is the /dp/
and the Amazon product ID.
for example https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0883PYCB4 is the 10400F)
This should give us some idea.
According to this leak from Amazon Italy, 3600xt is gonna be 285 euro which I suppose is the price with 20% vat?
The price for 3600 on Amazon Italy is 178 Euro before their current sale ~ 227 CAD if you deduct 20% vat?
So a price increase of 80-100 euro
The same article says
> It’s been rumored that the new “XT” processors will launch at the same price points as their predecessors, which should result in some excellent deals for those that don’t mind purchasing the older, less performance parts.
I guess I'm gonna and see whether 3600xt will be ~$300 CAD based on 199 MSRP for 3600 or $350 CAD which in that case I will pass on it.

There's plenty of deal atm actually. Pre-built systems are really cheap too. I just bought one from techfast last month, and I'm building another one with Ryzen 3200g for a cheap htpc..
RAM, CPU, NVMe SSD, GPU : under $1000. Throw in mobo, case, psu, ssd, should be under $1500 total
Assuming you have Amazon prime membership of course. Get free trial for the first month and cancel

Both websites have it for 250 quid.

3600 is 154 quid on amazon.
Combined with the more expensive z490 motherboard, the 10600kf is still in a completely different price bracket.
3$ more on amazon if you’re more comfortable with them. I just got mine last week.

That's what I'd do (could even sell your water cooler too, but I don't know how much second hand AIOs are worth) The 1070 is still very capable, it's just your CPU that is holding you back in many modern games.
My recommendations would be:
CPU £155 Ryzen 3600
Motherboard £65 Gigabyte B450M S2H The VRMs on this motherboard are a tier above any other that you'll get for the same price. (Just keep in mind you'll need to update the BIOS to make it compatible with the 3600. You could ask CCL to do this for you, some retailers are happy to do it. If not just buy a cheap AM4 CPU from Amazon and use that to update the BIOS then return it)
RAM £70 Crucial Ballistix 3000MHz Micron E-Die memory, you'll easily be able to achieve 3600 CL16 with a bit of tinkering.
So £290 all in, take away £200ish from selling your old rig leaving just £90 to upgrade to a MASSIVELY better CPU with 50% extra cores, 3x as many threads, better IPC, much greater efficiency + upgradability in the future. It's a no brainer if I were you!

Canadian price history for The Ryzen 5 1500x. As you can see, it's only been $300 CAD since February 2020, since it's an aging technology for the markup is due to scarcity and necessity for replacement parts. And that's for 3rd party Amazon resellers, Amazon themselves (the contracted Ryzen seller) never priced it above $278 CAD. It wasn't $300 CAD at launch, and you couldn't pay me to purchase it now at $300 CAD when I can get the Ryzen 5 3600 (One model upgrade and 2 gen upgrades) for $279.99 CAD.

On the SSD comment if you can afford the bump now then go for the larger m.2 now. Unless you get NVMe form factor of an m.2 vs 2.5” prices are about the same. Personal preference on when you upgrade too. I am happy I have the the extra additional drive HDD now (upgraded my OS 250 SSD recently to NVMe 1TB). I do all my picture and document backups automatically to the old HDD in case of drive failure.
I totally agree with the 2600 comment too. Personally for the small price increase to the x I really suggest that on the 3600 (Amazon has it 20 bucks more). Especially if you’re new to overclocking.
https://www.amazon.ca/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-thread-processor/dp/B07STGGQ18
They have built in overclocking curves and you’ll usually hit 4+ ghz just with stock cooler without messing with voltages. Here’s a good thread on it.

I love my 3700x. Just add an aio later and you can boost output substantially. Again that’s just my opinion. It’s really not worth it to bios overclock an X Ryzen cpu.. here’s a discussion in the amd reddit:

Did you do some checking yourself? Same listing:
All from Amazon and Newegg. They're magically in stock, huh... The only thing you were right about is the monitor. OP can get this one instead:
You really think 1 TB isn't enough for games? How many games do you play at once?
I had a look and tried really hard to stick to the budget, have a look: (listing everything from amazon as pcpartpicker has been having some issues lately)

Monitor - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BBVK943/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2W280CVTH2ZSW&psc=1
mouse and keyboard are your preference, everything is subjective about those two. All together, the build comes up to 1360$ not including the case as I can't find it.
Now I have a few things to say:
The case is incredibly expensive at this price point and is actively taking away the budget from components that would actually improve performance. I would get something more in the 80-100$ range if I were you as the extra 100$ can make a pretty big difference. It could help you stretch for the ryzen 7 3700X, which would be a great improvement for streaming.
Do you really need to game at 4K? 4K is incredibly demanding even on the highest tier GPUs and will really test the 2070 Super. The monitor is only barely fitting the budget and while it is a nice panel, it's only 60Hz. I thing that for gaming, it would be a much better experience to buy a 1440p 144Hz monitor instead. 1440p is detailed enough and the refresh rate makes the whole experience feel much better. This is ultimately your call, but I wouldn't go 4K.
The OS... I would look for on eBay. There are very cheap listings to be found.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Heads up, this is price matched on Amazon if you don't care about potentially waiting. Same for 3600x
You can do better for the money. I tried to make it as close as possible.. while also picking better parts.
Wifi on the motherboard, the ssd is nvme, etc
The Ryzen 3600 is also $160 right now on Amazon and 100% worth the extra $35

Technically that's $5-10 more than the 2700X on sale I guess, I bought my 3600 at $150. Still worth it to get a 3000 series Ryzen and higher hashrate.
We don't Horse around here.

RAM: Estas.

Don't let yourself get ripped off.
I have pretty much decided I will go with a new build, minus the storage. From your comment:
CPU 215€: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
MOBO 120€: Gigabyte B450
GPU 250€: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super OC
Ram 85€: Crucial Ballistix 3200MHz DDR 16GB
PSU 97€: Corsair TX750M
Total: 767€ / 850 USD
Price is looking OK. From here can either hunt for even better component combination at the same price as these or, look at a better price (all links to Amazon above) for the above components.
I live in australia and it costs around the same as Scorptec on amazon https://www.amazon.com.au/AMD-Ryzen-3600-Processor-100-100000031BOX/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=sr_1_2?crid=32H6KGXFR3JIJ&keywords=amd+ryzen+5+3600&qid=1577868844&s=computers&sprefix=AMD+Ryzen%2Ccomputers%2C309&sr=1-2

For CPU, I’d personally go for the Ryzen 5 3600 for $195. If you’re set on intel, get the i5 9600K at $200. It is superb for gaming. Note that if you plan to switch to Ryzen, you’ll have to get a different motherboard.

Alright here's my recommendation then, a Ryzen 5 3600 (at the moment is $200) a B450 Tomahawk Max (At the moment around $100) and some 3200 MHz ram to top it off considering this is around $300 you can get some pretty decent ram as Ryzen loves it's ram speeds and timings. This ram kit for $120 is basically a steal at the moment using Samsung B-dies and really low timings
But, it's priced ₹17890 on Amazon. Way out of my budget

CPU: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07STGGQ18/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
The Ryzen 5 3600 is all you really need. I doesn't require any overclocking to be a powerful and capable CPU. The stock cooler will work fine with this processor. It'll handle moderate workstation and 1080p-2160p gaming just fine.
Damn, the RX 5700 from Pulse was in stock yesterday and it's now already out of stock. The ASRock Challenger D model is the best I could think of now, as the Mech OC is the basically the same as the Ventus OC, which also runs pretty hot. If you want to wait for a better model, you can, but no guarantees that it'll be in stock soon. If you want slightly better thermals over better performance, this 2060 Super can also be considered: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Gaming-RTX-2060-Super/dp/B07V1Q4L2Z/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=2060+super&qid=1568248713&sr=8-11.
RAM: https://www.newegg.com/team-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820331285?Item=N82E16820331285
The T-Force Delta is actually one of the better under $80 16GB kits out there. It features good RGB as well as a decent build quality. It's definitely worth a try as many people seem to like it.
SSD: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LGF54XR/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A29Y8OP2GPR7PE&psc=1
The Sabrent Rocket seems to be one of the SSD market leaders in price to performance. This is probably the best performing SSDs you'll find that is under the $120 price tag. I think 1TB is enough for games and a good number of files, but you can always add a Seagate 2TB Hard Drive for more storage.
MOBO: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813144262?Item=N82E16813144262
This is a very decent X570 motherboard at an awesome price. It has many 5 star reviews on many different retailer websites. This motherboard also supports OC, PCIe 4.0, and Mystic Light RGB Sync. Overall, just another great motherboard from MSI. Works with the 3600 out of the box.
PSU: https://www.newegg.com/evga-600-bq-110-bq-0600-k1-600w/p/N82E16817438100?Item=N82E16817438100
This power supply should be enough, as the power draw of the GPU+CPU are around 300 watts combined. This leaves a comfortable 300W for other components and possible overclocking. This is also semi-modular and 80+ bronze rated, which will have decent cable management and power efficiency. There is also a $15 rebate on this product, as well as a 3 year warranty.
The Phanteks P300 is probably one of the best $60 PC case out there, tied with the View 31, in my opinion. It has a lot of room to build in (supports some E-ATX boards) as well as above-average airflow. Overall, it is one of my top picks in lower-mid-range cases.
FANS: https://www.newegg.com/corsair-co-9050082-ww-case-fan/p/N82E16835181157?Item=N82E16835181157
The Phanteks P300 doesn't include a lot of fans, and you'll need some fans to improve the airflow due to possibly having a warm GPU. The AF120s should get the job done at a good price.
Monitor Recommendation: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Take a look at this monitor. It features FreeSync, a Curved Display, and a 144Hz Refresh Rate. This monitor will be able to take advantage of your PC's power (not like one of my friend, who has a 60hz monitor paired with an RTX 2070), while not using a lot of your budget. The C24G1 is built with a VA panel, which allows it to have better color contrast than TN panels, while not sacrificing response times. As a bonus, AOC also has a 3-Year "No Dead Pixels" warranty in case of a defect.
Everything should total up to around $1275 before all taxes and promotions. This build includes a mixture of components from Amazon and Newegg's website. If you already have a G-Sync monitor, then spend $90 extra and get a RTX 2070 Super from Amazon to take full advantage of that.
3600 on sale : $180-190
Motherboard: B450 Tomahawk ~$115
RAM: 16 GB $78

You can go up from there, but that's a good baseline.
Ryzen 3600 destroys the 9600k and its cheaper has 12 threads instead of 6 so its more future proof. With a 1070 you won't get any more performance by going up to a 3700x and could shave off some money there. Otherwise I more or less agree with the other guy.
https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07STGGQ18
You could also get 3200mhz ram by spending $10 more
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P6F97B1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00
The 9400F is a bad decision without extra threads it will be obsolete for gaming in a few years. Get a Ryzen 3600 as it has 12 threads. This CPU will be safe for many years to come. Add a MSI B450 MORTAR. Replace that 1TB HDD with a 500gb NVMe its literally 20x faster and will only cost you a little more. These build changes will literally make the machine last twice as long and safe for next generation games and easy future upgradeability.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-B450M-MORTAR-Motherboard-Processors/dp/B07FNMLCTM/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=MSI+B450&qid=1567716921&s=gateway&sr=8-1 MSI B450 MORTAR [Note: Bios will need updated before installing cpu see Bios flashback plus in the manual.]

You could change 1000$ build to this one. You can also change mobo to other one.
So I did some research about ryzen. Are you suggesting I get a ryzen motherboard + CPU (which would be compatible because AMD is flexible) like the Ryzen 5 CPU and the Gigabyte B450 , as it is much cheaper than intel?

Ugly hunk of aluminum. Both Intel's and AMD's coolers are trash, just AMD's is slightly more quiet. Wouldn't use neither, a decent aftermarket cooler costs $25

Here we are with the fanboy arguments. Y'all talking about the "better upgrade path", while not providing a single example. Upgrade path to what?
5600x that loses to a cheaper 11600K?
Or the 5800x thst loses or equals to the cheaper 11700K?
Or maybe the 5900x that also loses to a cheaper 11900K?

well just go get it on amazon for $3 more.... hopefully the ebay seller will honor my cancellation. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07STGGQ18/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Since the $15 off is no longer included, isn't this a similar deal? It even comes with the cooler:
Ryzen 5 3600 + Asrock b450 steel legend is a good combo. It also has a micro atx version if you’d like smaller form factor. You can save a bit extra by going with asrock b450m pro4 although there is a chance that it won’t be compatible with 3rd gen ryzen out of the box (look for the sticker). In that case you can email amd and they’ll lend you an upgrade kit for free. If you can spare an extra $10-20 MSI b450 tomahawk max is a very good board and well worth it IMO. No smaller form factor tho.
Currently $209 on amazon
