Will do. I'll ask more people so we can make a half decent and pay minimum shipping. I'll link the store so you can check out any other locks from the same seller so we can save more. https://www.amazon.com/American-Lock-A1106BLU1KEY-Padlock-Aluminum/dp/B015MG047K/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=american+lock+1100&qid=1602914365&sr=8-3 I think they're sold by Amazon so by lock sold by Amazon will be send in the same parcel. Have a look, let me know.
> The problem is that secure systems which are very hard to overcome are very expensive. If you just want to use a lock to close your garden door, expensive locks would be overkill,
Within reason -- but some of that is just not buying the garbage sold everywhere in the US.
And American Lock A1106 like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015MG047K/ is insanely more secure and hard to pick that a master lock, and far beyond most US house locks. It's $15, about the same you'll pay at the hardware store for junk.
Similar with the while range of lower end $10-20 Abus, American, etc locks. Or even the better master locks like the 575, 9XX, etc.
It's not perfect, but above green/blue stuff is going to be hard to the casual picker to just rake open. And the cost isn't that much different: https://www.reddit.com/r/lockpicking/wiki/beltranking#wiki_white_belt
...along with avoiding the shimmable/bypassable locks, like a lot of the crap is. Some thieves around here know that much, and can do it in a way that just looks like they are opening the lock normally.
> There a cheap 50 cent lock is enough.
For these, I actually use locks with the pins removed. It just turns, and it truly for the visual look of having a lock -- and the top of any of my keys will open it
