No problem. I love that book it is such a great tool. I still reference it 25+ yrs later. This is the copy that I have https://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-artist-Jeno-Barcsay/dp/1566192455/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=E7T64VLMVP3F&keywords=anatomy+for+artists&qid=1651036857&sprefix=anatomy+for%2Caps%2C247&sr=8-17
Working with charcoal is really fun and very forgiving. My suggestion is get a pad of easel paper (typically 24 x 36) and some medium willow charcoal. Do some simple light studies/still life or just try drawing from your phone (but still life is much better). Even better, find Anatomy for the Artist by Jeno Barcsay. It's a wonderful book with amazing charcoal illustrations throughout.
Also you'll want to have a variety of erasers (hard, soft, gum) and fixative spray so you can set your work once complete.
