The new 24inch 1080p IPS hotness is on sale. "Usually ships within 1 to 2 months". Ordering now, but will cancel if the asus 24.5 monitor blows this away. I don't think so because I'm sure the asus tax will be high.
This looks fantastic! Mind sharing where you purchased? What price? I need new monitors. Could only find this on amazon:
AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS Monitor, FHD 1080P, 1ms 144Hz, Freesync, HDMI/DP/VGA, Height Adjustable, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee,Black/Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_nDQuFb3VY9SC4
Here is a popular option for $180
Assuming this is for gaming, and assuming you're looking for a single monitor.
Your list probably doesn't have the power to drive 1440p at 144hz, but it could probably handle 1080 at 144hz, so I'd start there. High refresh rates are really nice for gaming.
IMO the AOC 24G2 is the undisputed bang-for-buck king in this space. It's an IPS panel but it's still really fast meaning you'll get a "true" 144hz experience with little-to-no overshoot or ghosting unlike VA panels, while still having far better colors and viewing angles than a typical TN panel. The stand is nice with more than just tilt (like some other cheapo monitors), and it's just all around a great monitor. I've been shopping a lot for monitors over the last few days, but I've been looking for 1440p. That being said, if I wanted a 1080p monitor, this is what I would be getting.
You could get a larger screen, but honestly at 27", 1080p starts to look not great. 1080p 24" pixel density is high enough that it looks quite sharp. This is why people usually recommend increasing resolution in step with screen size as you go up, so 1440p for 27", 4k for 32" and above, etc.
Like honestly, I could list alternatives... but the 24G2 is just such a clear win in the 144hz/1080p/24" category that it's just a no-brainer. The only issue is availability, because I think in some regions they can be hard to find. Even where I am, amazon is out of stock for the next few weeks, so you might have to hunt around a bit to find one.
Maybe Aoc 24" 144Hz? On some tech Facebook group I saw ton of people have it and they are satisfied with it. The only reason they bought it because it's 144hz and it costs as a regular 60hz 24".
Btw, what's your budget?
I have this monitor im looking for a desk mount, im new to the PC things so idk what VESA is, and im gonna be honest, i cant find a desk to use.
The AOC flat 144hz 24in monitor is selling for $157 here if you're okay with 1080p. It's worked well for me since I bought it a couple months ago. Beware, though, that the sale is not actually great like it claims: I got it for $170 back in May.
How does this monitor compare to the AOC G2 monitor thats sometimes around this price?
>just about any monitor should work.
What about this one?
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/
When I go on the amazon page it won't tell me if there's an audio out port on it. I can't find out if this monitor supports speakers.
I’ve been rocking an LG 27GL850 for the last almost 2 years and I love it. It’s a bit out of your range though at $376.
If you just want to pick up a higher refresh rate 1080p 24” monitor this is one of the most recommended ones I’ve seen
I think most 144hz 1080p IPS screens are all manufactured by the same vendor, but some companies add some extra software features or a nicer more adjustable stand than others and the AOC is a nice mix of budget to features. I also have an Asus Tuf 24” that I’m almost positive has the same panel the AOC uses and it looks great but 24” is too small for my old eyes lol.
One of the best monitors you could pair with a build like yours would be this
AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS Monitor, FHD 1080P, 1ms 144Hz, Freesync, HDMI/DP/VGA, Height Adjustable, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee,Black/Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glc_fabc_6MMSM6K1HCNHYE1G6G5T
I prefer nothing higher than 24" with 1080p to keep the pixel density on check and this is a great IPS panel.
For gaming 1080p 24” is more than nice.
Are you sure you’ve tried it accurately?
AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS Monitor, FHD 1080P, 1ms 144Hz, Freesync, HDMI/DP/VGA, Height Adjustable, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee,Black/Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_M1DN4WDNBBJ6F2W9C1S3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 is so nice for games I use this for my second PC.
My first PC has a 3070 with a higher end 27” 1440p 165 hz IPS monitor and I still think the 24” 1080p I linked is beautiful for gaming.
AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS Monitor, FHD 1080P, 1ms 144Hz, Freesync, HDMI/DP/VGA, Height Adjustable, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee,Black/Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_kZe0FbXQE4TVG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Im assuming this is for the series s/x
Try looking for monitors with 144
I ended up buying this because it had very good reviews, but if you say it is a waste having a 144hz screen, then I can cancel the order and get something else. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07WVN6CWT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
so give us the option for 1080p 120fps, really not that hard
the "too expensive" factor of a 120fps capable screen is bullshit
okay so i might go with this one then since its a bit more and ips
You might consider the AOC c24g2. I bought mine recently for 200 off of Amazon. Its price fluctuates alot. But if you can snag it in the next couple of weeks with black Friday coming up. It is also recommended by hardware unboxed as a really good budget option. Once I have tried out myself I'll post my thoughts on it.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_H01RFbYW3X28A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
There’s a lot of good reviews on the AOC 24G2 from users and RTINGS says it’s a great budget option. You don’t want to go higher than 24” at 1080p. Otherwise text and image pixels will be stretched and look blurry.
Also, this monitor is way better, AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS Monitor, FHD 1080P, 1ms 144Hz, Freesync, HDMI/DP/VGA, Height Adjustable, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee,Black/Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_x0bLFbD71B7TE
Oh damn it’s out of stock. I just bought it from Amazon in the US last month. It comes in and out of stock. Click the receive a notification button and you should be able to grab it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GDR8DbRW33Z7Z
I came to the same conclusion after I started looking around. I already have a 34" 3440 x 1440 @ 120hz and a 27" 1440p @ 144hz (both gsync). I was looking for something a bit smaller for my workbench.
Found this AOC monitor for 180.00 on amazon and nabbed it right away. compared to what im used to paying for monitors it was a steal. I doubt I'll ever get an egpu for it since I have two desktops and planning on building a new one once ryzen 5000 and 3080's become available.
This monitor. The price just dropped from 320 to 280, so it's even more worth it. Never get a TN/VA when IPS is the same price or you need specific qualities of the TN/VA.
Just do what I do. Search Amazon.com for reviews. Especially if there are a lot of geeks in there. They often post configuration tips. This monitor, they definitely do.
I have to do this too because in Korea, US products are over-priced (over-taxed?) and certain Asian brands are much, much cheaper.
I'm using AOC 24G2U which is a 1080p/144Hz 1ms Freesync monitor. It's not officially supported by Nvidia (Not many Freesync displays are) but it's perfectly compatible with an Nvidia card via Displayport nonetheless. It's also really cheap, I bought mine on sale for $190 and it offers a lot of gaming specific customization through the monitor's OSD (Fps counter, frequency boost) and has a good stand that can be adjusted in many ways.
It's the best 1080p monitor I was able to find when I bought mine a few months ago. I couldn't recommend it enough. It's been awesome!
If you can catch a restock of the 24G2 for $179 then you’ll love it. I got it for my wife and there’s no flickering, no dead pixels, and looks buttery smooth. You can use a reminder service to get notified on restock
AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The CQ27G2 is 27". They also have a 24C2 which is 24" 1080p IPS, and just a bit more than the Spectre you have listed. If you want to stick with 1080p, I'd look for the AOC one when it's in stock for it's right price (https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=aoc+24g2&qid=1598106325&sprefix=aoc+&sr=8-3). I know it says available in October, but sometimes they get more in stock.
the most widely-praised best "budget" monitor for 1080p 144hz is the AOC 24G2
It's an IPS, has Freesync, is flat (which you want with smaller monitors), 24"
It routinely sells out in under 10 minutes though when it goes back in stock. If you keep your eyes peeled, the MSRP is 180$ on Amazon.
I just picked up a monitor like this a few weeks ago. If you can wait for amazon to get these back in stock... AOC 24G2 24" Frameless Gaming IPS Monitor, FHD 1080P, 1ms 144Hz, Freesync, HDMI/DP/VGA, Height Adjustable, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee,Black/Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EEC7EbTH12EQ2
This one from AOC seems pretty good to me.
AOC 24g2 in your price range - ex2510 the best overall but slightly more money.

Best Amazon deal I've seen in a long time. Used it to get $50 off this AOC monitor:

Looking for a 24" 1080p monitor as a second monitor to go with my AOC 24G2- right now I'm looking at the BenQ GW2480, the HP V240A, and the AOC 24B2XH. Does anyone have any advice regarding these three monitors, and are there any other monitors I should look into? Thanks.
I was just looking on amazon and was able to snag this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WVN6CWT/ref=ox_sc_typcrd_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=
It's also available on Amazon if you don't want to deal with CC. (amazon is much more customer friendly with returns and refunds in my experience)

Can you add the amazon link to your post u/gaojibao ? https://www.amazon.ca/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT - 5 bucks cheaper with no garbage return policy. Thanks.
Win10 Pro has some minor features over Home, but my shorthand usually is that if you don't know why you need it you likely just don't need it. Perhaps check out a comparison just in case.
This is what I would suggest, slightly over. All of the manual input prices (black) should be available at your Microcenter (except for the monitor, just unavailable right now on Amazon but should be available in 1-2 days). You might also be able to get another 20 dollar discount on the motherboard, Microcenter does a combo discount deal usually on these sets but for some reason it didn't show up on this model, perhaps an error. Either way the board is likely your best option for good motherboard with wifi/bluetooth.
EDIT: You can also get the case in white.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Reviews don't look too bad. And for $235 US

i would say it's a decent price considering it's prebuilt. i tried looking at parts from amazon, shopee, and lazada, and i got about $2k. however, i would get an IPS monitor instead, this is only $17 more.
you can easily save $ by getting a Royal Kludge instead, they're way cheaper but extremely easy to mod in case you want to improve your typing feel or acoustics. make sure you get the hotswap version so you can easily swap switches.
i would invest another $30-40 or so on a tower cooler, i tried the stock wraith stealth cooler on my 3600 and it was ass. get something like this, it'll be a huge improvement and allow your CPU to perform to its max potential.
Even if you are buying 144hz only for browsing the internet it would be worth it.
60hz to 144hz is the best quality improvement regarding to pc usage imo.
When we are talking about gaming the difference is so much bigger. If you are looking for an entry budget good 144hz monitor I highly suggest this: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
Best value for the price
Probably referring to the AOC 24G2.
This is a pretty good buy at $200 and a steal at $150
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WVN6CWT?th=1
I bought the 27 inch of this last year and I really like it. If you don't mind 24 inch it's a pretty good deal. Sorry if you saw this twice the mods deleted my other post due to link issue.
If you are in the US, the Gigabyte G5 KD with rtx 3060 would make an excellent choice https://www.bestbuy.com/site/gigabyte-15-6-fhd-ips-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-11400h-16gb-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-512gb-ssd/6494742.p?skuId=6494742
I do think the screen is only 60hz since it doesn't list it as 144, so maybe take the extra $100, save up an extra $70, and get yourself a nice 144hz external monitor and you're set https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=144hz+monitor+1080p&qid=1655362190&s=pc&sr=1-3
Note: This monitor is the cheapest 144hz I could find on Amazon that is from a brand I recognize. Further looking may bring back better results for you

the stock cooler should be sufficient for a 12400f. if you need a better one, go for the id cooling se 214xt. also if you are only using your computer for things like gaming and office use, you probably won't need the hard drive. if you really do need more storage, get that hard drive
Are you looking specifically for a CRT monitor? There are now a few flat-panel monitors that will sync down to 15khz (even though they don't advertise it--they say the range starts at 30) and work directly with the Amiga. I bought two of the AOC 24G2 freesync monitors and they work great:
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
The only thing you'll need is a 23pin RGB to DB15 VGA either adapter or cable. I got mine off ebay. Hope this helps.
The 24g2 is 169 right now
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT?th=1
If you can afford to pay little more than 150$, This would be very good: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT
If not, Then those will do job fine: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CVL2D2S
If you haven't bought the peripherals already, I'd advise to stay away from Corsair. Their peripherals are terible and highly overpriced. If you already have them, I guess the past is the past...
Here is a great build that'll fit your bill! The CPU is recent, and came out just a week ago. It is currently the best CPU for gaming out there, and in benchmarks, hits 600-700 fps in Valorant and other CPU-intensive games with the right settings. The GPU is the 3080, which is one of the best GPUs for an amazing performance at a manageable price point. It has great specs and can run most games at over max fps on your monitor, and more intensive ones like Elden Ring at over 60-70. The CPU and GPU is perfect for streaming! The rest of the parts are general parts to make the build work- like a 1TB NVME SSD for fast loading speeds, a case with great airflow and fans, etc.
As for a vertical monitor, a simple 24G2 should be great! Make sure to pick up this mount so that everything will be easier to set up.
Enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions :)

Agreed. OP should watch this video for super clarity regarding monitor Hz. https://youtu.be/OX31kZbAXsA
There is little reason to spend more on a 240hz monitor unless you are going Pro. Even then, it depends on the tournaments you play. If all the tournaments you go to play on 1080p 144hz monitors, why tf would you spend $$$ on a 360hz. Your timing would be hella off compensating for the Hz delay.
To answer OP's question-No, not all of them are budget. They're all getting labeled as that because for some reason, it's now the standard to tell people to spend $300+ on a monitor. Get yourself an AOC 24G2 and get to gaming! https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1CYSFOMJFXIBO&keywords=aoc+24g2&qid=1650045539&sprefix=aoc+24%2Caps%2C478&sr=8-3
I think this one will go well since it's also on sale:
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
When I look up this monitor I don't see an audio output for speakers. How do I know if it supports speakers
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
idk what to buy
I had a hard time configuring a parts-list within budget with a GPU (due to the shortage). You're probably best off with something like this: https://www.newegg.com/abs-ali587-master/p/N82E16883360222R?Item=N82E16883360222R&quicklink=true
With this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
I'm using this monitor and watch everything fine using the 4k stick even if it's only a 1080p monitor
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
Anyone playing fps games like valorant or csgo know if 27" is comfortable, or is it too big? Deciding between this and the AOC 24G2 going for $169.99 right now.
I suggest getting this PC: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-master-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-5-3600-8gb-memory-amd-radeon-rx-6600-xt-500gb-ssd-black/6481360.p?skuId=6481360
It isn't perfect, but for the price it is very good. The Ryzen 5 3600 is a solid processor and the RX 6600 XT is an amazing graphics card for Full HD high-FPS gaming. It isn't perfect as I said, there are three things to consider:
Firstly, the RAM is only 8GB and in single-channel. This is bad, but it's very easy to fix: all you want to do is add another identical module of RAM, another 8GB module, so that you'd end up with 16GB of RAM in dual-channel. Dual-channel simply means having two RAM modules instead of one, performances are a lot better when using two RAM modules, and a total of 16GB is what you'd want. So yeah, this is an easy fix, adding RAM is the simplest thing to do as well, no need to disassemble anything, just plug-in a second RAM module in its spot and that's all.
The second thing is that this has only a 500GB SSD. This isn't bad at all as a start, but 500GB isn't much in 2021. Thankfully adding storage is another easy thing, you can add a new SSD or HDD any time you'd want.
Third thing: the CPU cooler isn't the best, but it would work. Think about upgrading it in the future, but that's all.
This system comes with mouse and keyboard. They aren't great, but you can think about getting better ones later on down the line.
Regarding the monitor, what is suggested is a Full HD monitor with an IPS panel and a refresh-rate of 144Hz. With such refresh-rate the monitor will be able to show up to 144 frames per second on-screen.
Which monitor should you get? There are many options, this is a well-priced one for example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WVN6CWT?pf_rd_r=TZGQH31HMVZF2D249RNP&pf_rd_p=6fc81c8c-2a38-41c6-a68a-f78c79e7253f&pd_rd_r=5f09215f-3990-4998-b1ff-9660ffbeafbf&pd_rd_w=je1fx&pd_rd_wg=cnc5L&ref_=pd_gw_unk&th=1
The only thing you'd lastly need are external speakers, unless you don't care and are going to use headphones 100% of the time. There are plenty of PC speakers, pick whichever set you'd want.
Back to the RAM: you could get another 8GB module identical to the one provided with the system, which is a module running at 3000MHz. That said it would cost at least 40$... In my opinion it'd be better to remove the module included with the system and add a completely new set of RAM, one running at 3200MHz, like this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1626952-REG/pny_technologies_md16gk2d4320016axr_16gb_xlr8_ddr4_3200mhz.html
It's up to you, you can fix the RAM immediately or post-pone it to later on, just remember that is something absolutely needed because with the RAM the PC ships with performances will be a lot worse than they could be. In any case, remember that the 2 RAM modules you'll end up with, be them two new 3200MHz modules or the one that is in the PC from the start alongside another identical one to it, must be installed on the motherboard in slots 2 and 4. If you do not install them in slots 2 and 4 you will not end up with dual-channel memory, ending without better performances.
Simple video on how to install RAM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQj0GPEdKhg&ab_channel=GMODISM
In this video it shows how to remove the old RAM (in case you'll get a completely new set) and how to plug in the new set. Notice that the motherboard in this video only has two RAM slots, so naturally the two RAM modules can go only there. If your motherboard has four RAM slots you want to put the two RAM modules in slots 2 and 4, as I said before, ending up like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA-eGIitpsw&ab_channel=Torqcx
Now, these are the performances of this processor + graphics card in games (with upgraded RAM naturally, with how the PC is they won't be as good): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmlmOAvl2zI&ab_channel=GamesChoices
Is this good for you?
Is all I've written here understandable?
There is this 1080p monitor posted on r/buildapcsales recently. I don't own it myself but it's got a ton of reviews mostly positive on Amazon.
This would be without a doubt the best bang for your buck with the budget you have

I read somewhere that the U version only gives you dp and hdmi
At 1080p a 24” is much, much better.

VESA is a standard for mounting monitors. Your monitor is Vesa compatible:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT
Your monitor will likely arrive with the stand detached. Instead of attaching the stand, you can screw in a VESA mount with the 4 screws included with the mount. Go to Amazon or your preferred retailer and look for VESA mounts. Here's an example:
Based on this link: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
It won't be able to be delivered until August 22-26. That's over a month from now. Not really an ideal recommendation.
I have this monitor the AOC 24G2. 144hz ips 1080p, height adjustable, and freesync which is really good. Check out reviews on youtube has a great review as well. For $179.99 it is great. Check out review from Hardware Unboxed https://youtu.be/6MHdeDv9bqI
I still use it. I bought mine here in Canada it was on sale for $190 CAD before taxes.

I suggest you get this one as it has 165hz and a 0.5ms response time only for 10 dollars more

Yeah, definitely thinking 1080 is the way to go. I might replace my graphics card eventually, but I don't want to feel like I HAVE to. Someone else here recommended this, and it seems pretty good: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT?th=1 Trying to figure out why the 27 inch is cheaper than the 24. I don't think I'm likely to go bigger than 27, both due to pixel per inch issues and just not having a ton of room for something big in my setup. My current monitor is 21.5, and that's honestly felt just fine. I just want a second monitor that's more suited to gaming.
I'm not sure if I can maybe find a good Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale for this sort of thing.
hands down your best budget (save you some cash) 1080p monitor on the market, but this is the flat version: (24", 1080p, IPS, 144hz, freesync)
All depends on his system though. If he is going for 1440p, then these are out.
There is also a curved monitor of the same brand and style, but it is a VA panel instead of a IPS: (24", 1080p, curved VA, 144hz, freesync)
Monitor seems a bit expensive for 75hz. Might as well get this
usually goes on sale for a lot less on black friday. Solid for entry level fps games

Budget: $225 +-$25
Prospective Resolution : 1920x1080
Size (27 inches, etc.): 24.5 inches
Aspect Ratio : 16:9
Adaptive Sync: Freesync
Other Features : 144hz, tiltable/ height adjustable stand
400cd/m^2(if possible only)
Usage Type: competitive gaming
I also want to know if the monitor linked below is really an IPS panel that is as fast as a TN panel in terms of response time.https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=AOC+24G2+23.8inch+IPS+144Hz+FreeSync+Gaming+MonitorAOC+24G2+23.8inch+IPS+144Hz+FreeSync+Gaming+MonitorAOC+24G2+23.8inch+IPS+144Hz+FreeSync+Gaming+Monitor+*Actual+product+may+differ+from+images.+AOC+24G2+23.8inch+IPS+144Hz+FreeSync+Gaming+Monitor&qid=1604107262&sr=8-1

Jump on it quick, it's almost always sold out and $250.
Nice find thank you!
It says on Amazon that they ship within 1-2 months unfortunately.
I don't think RTX 2060 will be sufficient enough to reach 1440p @144Hz in AAA games. (for esports games like CSGO, LOL, Dota2 you probably could do 1440p @144Hz
You are probably better of running 1080p @144Hz. Regarding the PPI, 1080p will look better on the 24 inch than the 27 inch.
I have done some reading around regarding 144Hz monitors and concluded the best monitor is the AOC 24G2.
Its IPS 1080p 144Hz Freesync but sadly it isn't available currently on Amazon. So if you are willing to wait, I believe this is the best choice.
If you can't wait however, the other options are the TN panels or VA panels. With TN Panels the common complaints are regarding the inferior colors, the bad viewing angles.
On the other hand with the VA panels are with the ghosting. For VA panels there are the AOC 24G1 Curved 1080p 144Hz Freesync
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
I’m not sure if it’s available on amazon right now but you can check other retailers who might have it
CC is the only brick and mortar that has it but is out of stock.
Amazon Canada also has it but is also out of stock. I signed up for email alert when they get more.

They go on sale a lot and you can get 1080P 144hz for like 150 dollars.
Your monitor selection is good enough.
Thank you I am watching the video right now but which one of these do you think is better asus tuf or your monitor
Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_cJHCFb8Y1H9VC
It's a 24" actually. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
What’s so great about this monitor? I don’t know very much about monitors, I’m in this sub to learn before I buy one mostly
AOC 24G2 This one is great
Here is the AOC last one in stock also
As well as the Asus one
No worries.
I'm going to assume you've got 60Hz monitors, given that you said they weren't expensive.
If this is the case, I personally, wouldn't recommend upgrading from a 2070S. To see any improvement, you would first need to upgrade your monitors.
Some examples -
2070s Crushes CoD here with a buttery 140+ average FPS.
This video doesn't show an average frame rate - but it seems to hover around 80 fps.
So, what should you buy? If you do have 60Hz screens - you could consider an AOC 24G2, which is a 144hz 1080p IPS 1ms monitor. Very good value. It is also G-Sync Compatible.
You could also a consider a 1440p monitor - that card performs extremely well at 1440p. I feel like resolutions are more personal preference, though. Personally, my eyesight is kind of bad. So I stick with 1080p
Don't forget an SSD for shadowlands, too (If you didn't have one, already)
Hope this helps :D
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_a46tFbMSFBF6B This Is what I got around $170. Ips panel too. They come back in stock around once a week.
I would reccomend a higher refresh rate monitor. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
Here is a cheaper one for you. You can save on the monitor and maybe get something better somewhere else.
Or would this be a better deal?
I have done some research and a good one would be this https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT it's not the best, but it's not super expensive. I'm getting it though.
What would be a better monitor for gaming/digital art?
They both deliver what i’m looking for in terms of size, resolution, refresh rate, panel, and price. Is there any performance/feature differences i’m missing? (stand quality isn’t a factor, i’ll be using a monitor mount)
AOC 24G2 but it’s usually OOS
Check out r/buildapcsales for good deals
Hey I've written an EDIT in my post. I've decided to go with 24 inches 1080p 144Hz refresh monitor. Can you maybe recommend me something? I've found two perfect matches:
AOC (the biggest downfall is this stand): https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
ASUS (better stand, but higher price): https://www.amazon.com/VG259Q-Gaming-Monitor-FreeSync-DisplayPort/dp/B0817JCFJN?th=1
What do you think about them? Do you have some better monitors to recommend?
Overall I think i find this monitor pretty good because it has IPS, 1ms response time, freesync support, decent stand, and its cheap. The only downside is that it is almost never in stock but its def worth it.

Thank you, this is the response I was looking for about this. I found this monitor AOC 24G2 24" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 that has Freesync. It seems to have good reviews and meets the criteria I'm looking for. Do you have any thoughts on it?
I mean, that's just not true whatsoever and one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. HDMI 2.0 supports 144hz at 1080p. HDMI 2.0 can even support 240hz at 1080p. Stop spreading bullshit.

Here it is at Canada Computers and Amazon. Like everything else right now, it appears to be out of stock :/
The AOC 24g2 is amazing. I have it and am satisfied with it. I had to fight to get it when it was out of stock but every computer component type seems to be in stock now so you should be fine getting it now. It's on Amazon for just a little more than $150.
Note for Amazon: It says "Shows what’s inside. Change at checkout.". I didn't see this when I ordered mine so be aware.
I just picked up a AOC 24G2 from Amazon for $179.00 and so far its amazing! I recently finished building my first PC which was about $1,100 overall and didn’t want to spend more then $200 for a 144hz monitor. I spent an entire week looking at monitors in this price range and everything I found online said this was 100% hands the best one. It’s a 1080p /24” / IPS monitor so the color saturation is very crispy but it’s also labeled as having a 1ms response time which incredible for an IPS monitor in this price range. It’s also Freesync compatible (for AMD graphics cards) and Gsync compatible (for Nvidia graphics cards with latest drivers). The only downside with this model is that it’s in VERY high demand right now and usually sells out within 15-30mins on Amazon. If it’s out of stock you will see other 3rd party sellers listing it for about $260 or so but don’t pay that much for it. Wait for it to be in stock with Amazon Prime. When I ordered mine last week it said the expected ship date would be 9/2/20 but for whatever reason it shipped the next day and I got it within 3 days!

Also here’s a really good and very thorough review of the monitor on YouTube from Hardware Unboxed in case that helps too: https://youtu.be/6MHdeDv9bqI
On Amazon. You can preorder it right now $178.42 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WVN6CWT
If you missed it look here https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/. I fount out about getting alerts from that community. Besides zooLert there is NowInStock. https://www.nowinstock.net/full_historydetails/1441/48724/

Each an every game that you mentioned is easily playable on this build. You will get 1080p High settings 80-100fps in every AAA title game. For other games like valorant, you can expect max setting 1080p 150+ fps.
That is why i have supplied with an AOC 24in 144hz 1080p 1ms IPS panel. it is a very good panel and i have heard alot of good things about it. you even get a free 1 year accidental repair on this.
Keyboard & mouse: i have chose a Logitech wireless combo, this is quite good as well. Hope you'll like it.
Note: I have not included windows for better hardware. You can use windows as trial for as long as you want until u can purchase it
Here you go man, as in the world of custom pc, these parts are usually the most well known and work very well together.
For you requirements: this PC will be able to play all your games at 1080p Ultra settings 100+ fps very easily. Actually the GPU is much more capable and you could go with a lower one as well. But, i would still suggest this RTX gpu for future proofing (sort of). You will not need to upgrade for a very long time with this built.
Case: It is white, has tempered glass, looks aesthetic, and i have included 3x RGB fans that comes with their own controller. The case is actually a very good quality case from a reputed brand.
Check case video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJm2aXTfb7o
First time PC building guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7MYOpFONCU
I highly recommed you watching these video, they will help you in the build.
Monitor: It is a VA panel 1080p 144hz 24in 1ms response time curved monitor, its a very good monitor and checks all the marks. If you can spend more, go with IPS panel like this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=aoc+24g2&qid=1591780673&sr=8-1
And i have not included Windows key, actually you can use windows for free as trial for as long as you want. Its just that there will be a permanent text on the scree saying "your windows is not genuine". If you dont want that, you can buy from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/
The AOC 24g2 is a good 144hz 1080p IPS display for under 300 CAD if you can find one in stock, I will link the 2 locations that I have seen it for sale, I bought mine from amazon which I suggest you do as well if you decide to get it

I got a nice monitor, a good mousepad, a laptop cooler/dock, a keyboard and mouse which I already had. I’m thinking about a good externally powered USB dock to add to the setup though.
AOC 24G2: highly rated 24” 144hz IPS 1080p panel. Connected by DisplayPort to take advantage of adaptive sync.
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
Razer Firefly V2: RGB hard surface mousepad, with mouse cable catch. By far my favorite purchase in a while. It’s very nice and screams high quality, but it is expensive
Some random laptop cooler stand that was cheap on Amazon. SunnyGX laptop cooler stand. Surprisingly good feel on the plastic. Very sturdy and it’s got a USB pass through which helps with lack of USB space.
A decent keyboard. I’m not crazy into mechanical keyboards so I bought this to test it out and match my mouse (Logitech G502, amazing mouse btw) without going insane on the price. Logitech G Pro TKL keyboard.
Price of a Pawn, value of a Queen.

The M.2 SSD you chose is an NVME SSD. You can get an NVME M.2 SSD for the same price and they are much faster so I would get one (like for example this Sabrent Rocket Q).
Based on this I would also switch the monitor to thisAOC monitor (pcpartpicker does not show it's price but it is available for purchase like for example from Amazon).
Because IPS is superior when it comes to color it's also more expensive unfortunately. Normally I'd say for that price range you're stuck with TN... BUT... enter the AOC 24G2 @ ~$200. Theyve sold like hot cakes. Tons of positive reviews the last couple months and now Amazon seems to be awaiting a restock. Frankly if I were you Id set up a restock alert and wait. It's an insane deal. On the other hand if you really want a 27" the best overall deal right now is probably the LG 27GL83A-B @ $380. This sub adores this monitor and for good reason.
Of the 3 you added to the OP I would not recommend the latter two as they are both 1080p @ 27" and if you do a quick search on this sub you'll see a lot of talk about how the ideal DPI for 27" is 1440p, as 1080p is scaled up and can look pixelated. The C24FG73 is also a VA panel so the colors aren't great. I think most curved screens are VA panel actually. The purpose of VA was to bring some of the color from IPS panels and keep some of the performance (but avoid the wash out) of TN panels, so its got more contrast than TN but less performance. It's a compromise panel.
This is the G2 of the AOC you mentioned. Just got back in stock, hopefully it still is.
Do you have a link to where I could buy it? I found this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WVN6CWT?pf_rd_p=183f5289-9dc0-416f-942e-e8f213ef368b&pf_rd_r=KXV8F3G08T60H50BQ8TE&th=1 but i'm not 100% sure it's the same since there isn't a U at the end
I was going to say if you are in the US and you are looking for a 1920x1080, 144 Hz, IPS monitor that the AOC 24G2 has recently been in stock every now and again, so you could pick that up since it's usually $179.99 and has been well-regarded. It was just in stock this morning then went out of stock afternoon from what I remember, but now Amazon says it will be in stock on January 27, 2020.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WVN6CWT/ref=twister_B07X1P5KPB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I am looking at this monitor for rainbow six siege and gta 5 but i’m not sure, is it worth it?
This is a good option too, brand new IPS 144Hz monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT/
TL;DR since it's in stock 12/9 might as well wait for AOC 24G2.
I believe same panel as the AOC 24G2 that goes in and out of stock for $180 (ignore current price from 3rd party seller).
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-24G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B07WVN6CWT
I bought this one first, but returned it because of dead pixels in the bottom left corner, and got the 24G2 when it was in stock.
If you plan on using the monitor stand AT ALL, I would recommend spending the extra $20 on the AOC for a MUCH better stand. The stand on this one feels like the ones from $80 monitors that staples has.
