AOC C24G1 144hz Curved Monitor this is by far the best shit you will ever get for your money. thin bezels, good looking, curved, 144hz, at least 20 bucks cheaper than other 144hz monitors.
There's lots of them under $200, you're just not going to get any that's 1440p. Here's a 1080p one that's just under $200 https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=sr\_1\_6\_mod\_primary\_new?dchild=1&keywords=1080p+120hz+monitor&qid=1624428148&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sr=8-6
If you are gaming I’d go with a 144hz monitor, not sure what else you do and how much you would value color accuracy, viewing angles, speakers, adjustability but generally speaking going with a monitor like this is a good option: AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7E6HRNXJWDB1E8HZGSVD
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=1080p+monitor+144hz&qid=1600116705&sprefix=1080p+monitor&sr=8-3 This monitor should work, 1080P 144hz, which means it can display up to 144 frames per seconds, keep in mind you have to see it to 144 when you first use it.
You really don't need 2 high refresh rate monitors, the main (only) use case is gaming, and when are you gonna be playing 2 games at once. Also if you want to tell if your computer can handle it, try setting your max game fps to 165 or 144 and try to run the games, if you can't hit 144 or 165, you're wasting monitor potential. You're gonna want to use individual dp cables for each monitor by the way.
EDIT: Just noticed that the second monitor is also 2k, your pc is definitely gonna struggle to push 165 fps at 2k. I'd suggest getting a 144hz, but not the one you suggested. The one you sent is 400 (CAD), 144hz, 1ms, 24", TN. I'd suggest the AOC C24G1, it's 24", 144hz, 1ms, curved, VA, has a vesa mount and comes with a good stand, 3 year 0 pixel warranty, on sale for $145 USD (normally 180), and G-Sync compatible.
EDIT2: I misread the whole post.
The keys are legit and eBay has excellent way of dealing with scammers and you'll get refund if seller fails to deliver or it doesn't work. Many people do this, some are against it but I personally don't see anything wrong with it. All of those keys are sourced from OEMs i believe.
The monitor is great BUT it is overkill because you won't really hit 165 fps with that setup in most games and there's not a huge diff between 144hz and 165 hz but if you have the money you could go for it, I'll edit this comment in a few secs with a link of alternative monitor/monitors.
Edit: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F , this one is pretty good, there are some cheaper options as well but I'd go for this.
Didn’t see the price budget lol AOC C24G1 24?Class LED Gaming Monitor 1920x1080, FreeSync, 144hz, 1ms, VA 1500R Curved Panel, HA, VGA, (2) HDMI, DP https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5PFICbMRZG9M6
This one should be good for you
i have a curved monitor. i love it a lot. i hear ips panels are a bit more colorful idk tho. i fell i can use my peripheral vision along with my head phones to game better. i fell my flicks are on point more. it will take some getting used to if ur last monitor was flat. there will be a noticeable crease but after like 2 weeks to a month it go away. that means ur brain and eyes have adapted to it. i highly advise u take a look at ur gfx card and see if its capable of doing 1080p or 1440p. if u have a 1440p monitor but gfx card can only do 1080p it might struggle to hit max frames. if u have anymore questions lmk I'm not pc master but i might be-able to help.
Hmm ok. I will need to look more into this. Originally i was thinking to buy this: AOC 23.6-inch Curved Gaming LED Monitor with VGA Port, HDMI*2 Port, Display Port, 144Hz Refresh Rate - C24G1 https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_FCA9QTQCY07SM815XJYY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Now i need to check again. Thanks a lot bdw!
So I don't want to recommend something to you that I haven't used - here is what I have right now (2x) and they do the job for me had them for over a year now:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o06\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have this AOC monitor, there is a newer version apparently that's a hair cheaper but may differ a bit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_N0QNYGF9NGTEG29MT7Q3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I like it alot, freesync and 144hz is great in Siege. The colors are good, the blacks are black. The build quality is solid.
Only complaints are it's hard to see dark content in a very bright, sunlit room and there are no usb ports in the monitor.
AOC makes good monitors at a reasonable price this is the one I have. ASUS and BenQ also make good monitors but I think they’re a bit pricier. Only problem with my AOC is that the stand is pretty big so that can be obstructive if you play MKB. But you want to search for 144Hz and between 24-27 inches for your display space.
I actually just bought one after researching for weeks. I’m definitely not an expert and was on a budget. I ended up going with this one. It was cheap and I know the brand well. Also had great reviews.
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F
I swapped it for AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, etc
I like my 24” AOC, 1080p, 144hz, 1ms, FreeSync VA monitors. They’re the biggest, highest resolution monitors I’ve had though, so maybe I’m ignorant. Amazon Link
I bought this one AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_XMVWFbK05M384?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Not 4k but most games won’t hit 4k and 120
I ended up getting this one: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=AOC+C24G1&qid=1565644426&s=gateway&sr=8-1
VA panel, got a good review on pcmonitors.info, and was only $160 on Amazon. I'll probably be happier with that, with the better colors and contrast, than with a TN one.
Thanks.
Well...I am not from the USA, I am from Romania. The monitor is this one. Amazon is now the one I saw a lot of people use. Do you have any alternatives?
I mean why sell it? Unless it’s just a spare tv that won’t be used. Maybe 75-100. I got this for around 150 it goes on sale from time to time. Still not a bad price right now.
once you upgrade to 144hz monitor 1ms delay time. ITS A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL OF AMAZING GAMEPLAY! it feels so much more smoother. it was so satisfying to switch to 144hz. even tho my pc can run @240fps. but anyways, its so worth getting a 144hz monitor. there one on amazon for $145 i use it as my second monitor. but it works great. heres the link $145 144hz monitor
edit: they raised the price......
My monitor You can honestly get a really nice pc for 600-800 dollars. You wouldn’t need 4K right away. Just get a good enough graphics card for the time being. Once you have enough saved for better parts sell your old ones and pop the new ones in
I have the g2 mode of this which is 27” 1440p and I absoulutely love it, its perfect and has more features than i would need :) hope this helps
AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BAKzFbEWQQC6T
Idk if it can ship to europe but its a pretty good and cheap 144hz monitor that is under your budget.
This is VA panel, and it's pretty popular. Probably the best one under $150
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/
If you can find the aoc c24g2 for around $180, it's even better because it has an IPS panel, which usually gives better color and viewing angles than VA.
I would not get a TN panel because it has the worst colors and viewing angles
I don't know if I see the correct price (163 USD?), but if I do. Then it's 100% not worth that.
I'm currently using this as my main PC monitor for gaming, which at that price would be far more worthwhile to get.
No problem. Have a look at this one though. I looked at the reviews first this time. There are a few complaints, but they all come down to it not being as high quality as more expensive monitors. You get what you pay for though. This is a solid monitor for what it costs. You’ll experience 144 hz, as advertised.
2060 super would be great for max settings 1080 high refresh rate in my opinion. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=aoc+1080p+144hz+monitor&qid=1597591593&sprefix=aoc+1080&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyP...
I would get the msi pro vdh wifi. It costs 125 dollars, and includes wifi. Instead of a RTX 2060, I would get him an RX 5700XT. It is a little bit more expensive, but loads better performance. Also, that will use a FreeSync monitor for AMD, and not a G-SYNC monitor for NVIDIA cards. Freesync monitors are usually less expensive for the same specs. Also with a RYZEN cpu, you should get AT LEAST 3200 speed. memory. Here is the monitor I have: Link. Now its 250 dollars but goes on sale alot. I really like it there are no problems.
I’ve never had a ps before but there is a difference between 1080p and 4k. I’m not an expert by any means but I have a 1080p monitor that he 144hz and things look smooth. This is the monitor I have for my pc: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_t5qeFbZVTFWPG granted that’s a third party seller(got mine at Microcenter) but I like it. Maybe look at the brands website and see what they have for sale through legit sources?
I have an AOC G2460PF 24" (1080p 144 hz freesync) that I use as a 'portable' monitor for LAN parties because I don't like to lug my big ultrawide anywhere with me. The successor to the G2460PF is the C24G1. It's only $144 on Amazon which is amazing... practically disposable if you ever had an 'oopsie' with it.
Estoy en la misma loco. Que hermoso monitor, lo vengo siguiendo hace varios dias ya pero no me decido por donde traerlo y el cagazo de si viene algun pixel muerto
PD: dejo el link de Amazon
AOC C24G1
If recommend the Aoc c24g1 it’s a 24” 144hz curved monitor, it’s the one I’m currently using and it’s works very well, looked great, and it can be adjusted quite a bit you can find it on amazon for about 150 USD
AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.ealFbWSRHH4N
I've enjoyed the AOC C24G1. I am not that hard to please though, and when I bought it I was just more worried about price than anything else but it has served me well. I don't really notice the curve when sitting right in front of it. Currently 145 on amazon
AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kC91Eb0STSBCM
This monitor on amazon gets restocked and is $145 I believe fairly often. Right now it’s out of stock and it’s somewhat hard to get right when it does come into stock, but this is one of the best bang for your bucks rn! They also have a flat IPS version of the curve doesn’t get you going!
Otherwise the 2 links you posted are exactly the same sooo there is no difference between the monitors.
This is the one I got and I paid like $150 on Black Friday! Was well worth it but they don’t have it in stock on Amazon anymore.
Would recommend getting it if it comes back in stock or if you find it elsewhere.
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F
You might want to have a look at this vfm monitor: AOC C24G1 144hz VA
Also, check out local shops in Udaipur, there are plenty and you can find this monitor for cheap. Another good choice would be Acer VG240YP (which is currently unavailable on amazon) but you can look for in local shops, it goes for 13k.
So, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this, great price. Here's my question:
This AOC 24" on Amazon is $5 more. They look very similar, although the AOC claims to be 1ms versus 4ms. I'm not needing 1ms, but the AOC has a better rating overall.
Anyone have any thoughts on which is better?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=psdc_1292115011_t1_B07598HLB5
I have this one, and would highly recommend it. It's discounted for the holidays, too.
Assuming you're in USA and not Canada here is the link: AOC CG24G1
Why is VA not as good as IPS for gaming.
I keep researching this but I've never had ips myself. I just keep seeing that IPS has better colors but worse blur and response times.
Edit: trying to decide if it's worth $30 more than the aoc. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/
I got a 27” 240hz Monitor but it might not be for everyone. Most pros play on 24”. I would recommend something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
24”, 144hz, 1ms response time, free sync & VA panel and less than $150 at the time of writing this.
Any thoughts on this one vs. AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA Panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height Adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.-Y1DbGE37ADW
Planning on having a dual monitor setup vertically with another 1080p 60hz monitor as my second, if that matters
The AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA Panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height Adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels would be great for youand it is right in your budget
The BenQ is pretty old already, and honesty overpriced at this time. I had it but didn’t like it too much.
Can’t speak to the Acer but I’ve had bad experiences with the brand itself in the past.
Maybe you wann look at this one https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=gaming%2Bmonitor%2Bva%2Bpanel&qid=1570427658&sprefix=gaming%2Bmonitor%2Bva&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
What is your budget?
For around $230 you can get 144Hz Freesync. Even if you cannot fully use it now, it would future proof for if/when you upgrade your system.
Reviews are showing this could be the best value in a gaming monitor:
There is also a 27" version for $50 more.
Check the calibration settings people mentioned in the reviews if it works.

AOC C24G1 $145 on Amazon. 24" curved screen, I've been eyeing this one for a while
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_CFM-DbV42PY62
From what I've seen, most people suggest the AOC C24G1(https://www.amazon.ca/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F). However, the panel is VA so if you want more color accuracy, you probably want an IPS panel. I am personally using the Acer XV240Y (https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/acer-nitro-23-8-fhd-165hz-2ms-gtg-ips-led-freesync-gaming-monitor-xv240y-black/14472744). BestBuy recently had a sale on it for $220 so you could wait for it to drop again.
I also recommend using pcpartpicker (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/) to filter for the requirements you want.
It’s this one I got it on Black Friday in 2019 for about $115. It’s not too shabby for how much I got it for

I'd say these are your best options in your price range
AOC C24G1 VA Panel, Better contrast ratio/viewing angels
Acer KG241Q TN Panel, better response time, less chance of image ghosting

Thanks!! The monitors are a little bit budget but I like them decently! I got them on sale so it was def worth it at the time
The monitor mount is miles better than what I was using before. Its a little pricier than what I was hoping for, but it works great.
The C24G1 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F) is the same model afaik, but this is the C24G1A with just a little more refresh rate
I have these in my Amazon cart:

Also depending on what games they play I could probably get some lower-end components that are still good and save you some money.

Get the CPU and motherboard at Microcenter for the bundle discount.
The Cougar MX330 case only comes with a rear fan, so I added a fan for the front. You could grab another one of these fans to have 2 front fans if you want.
Some people like to crap on this power supply and claim that it lacks critical protection features. It doesn't. The old M12II lacked those features. The EVO edition has those protections.
This is likely to be complete overkill for your monitor's resolution. It's probably 1600x900 or something like that.
Maybe you could get something like this in the future.

Best monitor I've had and it's really cheap for it's quality
I personally use this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 you want to try to get a 144hz 1ms monitor as games feel much smoother i've been on 144hz for a while and can't even use a 60hz monitor without feeling sick lol feels like 30hz. va panels are great for gaming as they are easier to pull high refresh rate but can have ghosting but the specific one i have with my rtx 2070 super , ryzen 3900x and 16gbs of dddr4 3600 c16 has no ghosting problems and has gsync compatibility which basically means you can turn off vsync and achieve higher fps without screen tearing. The best visually are Ips and oled but Tn and Va are cheaper but are easier to push high refresh rates with.

Any specifics you want? In terms of size, hertz, resolution etc. If not I'd go for this Acer Nitro cause its also good for gaming. Another one would be the AOC C24G1, sort of the same thing as the nitro but curved and 144hz instead of 165hz. If gaming isn't a priority though, this Dell focuses more on the colors and crispiness, so ideal for photoshop and things like that.
If you want a 24" display to be curved you will have to get a VA monitor. The AOC C24G1 will be your best bet. There aren't many options since that isn't a very popular spec combination.

For a monitor, I went with one from AOC, I have had a great experience with them
AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, FHD 1080p, 1500R VA panel, 1ms 144Hz, FreeSync, Height adjustable, VESA, 3-Year Zero Dead Pixels Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QNQBGDJ5AKNJ8XCWE2DD
For the keyboard, I went with a Huntsman TKL because I don't imagine your son needs a number pad, and I chose linear switches for their speed.

For the mouse, I don't play Fortnite, but I have heard many people praise the Glorious model O-. I have also heard this praise from the Minecraft PvP community for its ability to dragclick. It has an easy to use shape for small hands, and is a really solid mouse overall.
https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/glorious-model-o-minus-matte-black
For a headset, I chose the Steelseries Arctis 3 for its solid sound quality and ease of use. The microphone is also really good compared to others, so it should be a good pick.

I have this monitor. It's a 1080p 144hz display with two HDMI 1.4 ports.

This is what I got couple months ago and I really like it.
A hair above $200 but its 1080p I don't complain.

this monitor usually goes for $150 (not right now tho)
it has a better panel and i curved.

AOC is a good budget 144hz monitor brand. $180 us dollars is a reasonable price for a 144hz monitor but idk about Australian money. There is also another 144hz monitor 1ms response time by AOC which is very popular today and many people buy it. There are many reviews on this monitor and I'm pretty sure Techsource also reviewed this monitor around 1-2 months ago. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zdoR_A9tTc The clip for the AOC monitor I am recommending is at 13:39. Here is amazon the link for the monitor:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
so far, this is the only one i can find, but it’s curved and pretty expensive, i was looking for $100-$200 price range
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F
If you don't mind curved screens amazon has this one for 145, just need to go down and select the seller.
I would have recommended asus tuf gaming 27 VH1BR but it recently bumped its price from $179 (when i bought it last saturday) to freaking $369!!!
So i suggest something under $200 with 144Hz and 1080p. The AOC C24G1 24" monitor is currently $124 on Amazon. Might want to look into that.

I will be able to pick this one up for $180
Should be these.
There's plenty, but depends on the size you're looking for. If I go on Amazon US and search "gsync monitor" a bunch of options come up. I'd recommend MSI as a personal experience. But AOC and Asus monitors have really good comments.

I have this and I love it.
The psu will fit in the case, some itx cases are so incredibly small they require a smaller form factor psu.
For montior wise it depends on how much you want to spend. You always want at least 144 hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time.
1080p curved, I have this montior and I love it. You can barely notice the curve and it helps with viewing angles and is better on your eyes (all curved montiors are)
1080p 144hz 1ms response time should be between 150-300
1440p 144hz 1ms should be between 200$-500$
2160p 144hz montiors are upwards of 800$
1440p is kind of the sweet spot right now for value
Definitely get a 144Hz at for a little bit more:

here's a budget one AOC C24G1 that can beat higher-end ones. It's a beast. $179 on amazon rn
There are a lot of reviews of the AOC C24G1.
A full review from PCMonitors.
Of the three I think that would be my choice. If I had another $30 I would go with AOC 27G2 or AOC 24G2 the AOC 24G2 is currently sold out.
I don't own a curved panel, but I don't think I would like one for gaming. I think I would prefer a flat panel. But I don't think you can go wrong with the AOC C24G1.
Looking at the other 1080p 144hz monitors, I don't see a compelling reason to spend anymore than $150. I wouldn't worry too much about brightness.
VA will have good color but slower response times.
TN will have slightly less good color, but usually the best backlights and response times.
IPS The $200 panel I mentioned above has a killer 4ms total response time, and is also an IPS panel, and it was released in September of this year. But overall last generation of IPS was also a bit slower, but had great color depth, but sometimes has something called backlight bleed (light filters through total dark backgrounds). The newer generation are better built IPS monitors.
My current gaming monitor is a Dell Alienware 25in 240hz AW2518Hf so this is my only actual point of reference for comparison. I feel like 25in is great, but I think I'd prefer 1440p (or even a 1080p) 27in or 32in personally. The 240hz is fine, but only in competitive fps games. The backlights that dell makes are amazing, so they are very above average for total illumination. I would also look for an in depth review on whatever monitor you purchase, because often the backlight illumination is actually higher than what is advertised. The same with input lag. The monitor I use has a 4ms total input lag. It also has some of the least best motion blur.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!

[This](www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F) is an excellent monitor that isn't super expensive.
For Windows, your just going to have to use the free version of Windows at this budget. Don't worry, basically the only difference is that there's a watermark in the corner of the screen. You can see how to do that here.
Three AOC C24G1 24" monitors! Not the highest end, but affordable!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_rZEhZiwaUscW8
Yea I’m aware of that. But I’m not interested in 1440p yet. I feel like if I’m gonna dish out 450 dollars for a 1440p monitor i night as well wait for a 4K hdmi 2.1. I currently have the AOC cg24g1 1080p 144hz monitor (the first link). But I’m looking at the other 2 linked monitors. Which out of the 3 is the best ? If one of the other 2 is the best I’ll sell the Cg24g1 I have now.

Which monitor is best. I will be getting the series X.
Okay so the monitor I currently have is the first link, the AOC C24G1. I will be getting the series X at launch. I value FPS over resolution, even though the X is 4K it will sample down to one of these 1080p monitors and look amazing. So should I keep the first monitor or buy one of the other two? Which out of the 3 will be the best?

What’s the difference between the AOC C24G1A and the popular AOC C24G1?
Ive noticed that the AOC C24G1 has been a popular choice in the $150 range as it brings nice specs to the table like VA panel, 144hz, Curved, Freesync, VESA mountable, etc. Recently it has gone up to the $180 range, and hasn’t come down. I’m building a PC for my friend, and this is a pretty large budget change (you could get an aftermarket cooler with this money, for example). I looked around and found that it had a “renewed” version I guess (the AOC C24G1A), which was mostly the same specs but had a better curve, and was 165hz instead. It’s sitting at $145 right now. Is there any hidden issues with this one that would prompt me not to buy it?
Hi all,
I want to built a triple monitor setup. The main things I'll do with it is gaming and just multitasking in general.
I've been looking at the C24G1 which is currently priced at around 140 euro in my country. Link: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F
Would this be a good monitor to use for a triple monitor setup? The curved is interesting, I think I will like it, but it also has disadvantages such as that its not possible to rotate it 90 degrees.
Another monitor I've been looking at is the AOC 24G2u, but its currently 190 euro, which would be 150 euro more in total, however i read thats its a better monitor.
Does anyone have advice on a right monitor for a triple monitor setup? Possibly other options apart from these two. For example curved vs flat, does 144hz make sense across all three, right resolution, 24 vs 27 inch etc. All advice is welcome.
Thanks!
My brother has this monitor in a dual setup, i just got one because itlooks so good, 144hz 24" 1080p
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The setup isn't bad for a first timer the only things i'd really upgrade in the near future would be the cpu to a 3600/3700x and the monitor to a 1080p 144hz panel because its easy to achieve with a mid tier gpu this is the one i personally own its really good for a budget https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I went from a 1440p 75hz screen to this and oh my god it was breathtaking the amount of fluidity all my games had I can never go back to 60hz even increased my cs:go k/d from a measly 4.13 to a whopping 11.22 still not amazing but alot better also many people say that high refresh rate is only for e-sports games but I'll tell you more story oriented games felt so much more immersive and smooth than 75hz/60hz. I remember my first rig I actually built my self was a gtx 580 a pentium and 8gbs of trio channel ram ahh the memories. now i run a rtx 2070 super, ryzen 3900x 12 core cpu and 16gbs of ddr4 3600 c16. This rig has some major upgrade path value as that b450 will allow you to upgrade even up to a 3900x but the 3600/3700x would be a better value option.
ultra wides while cool are not really worth it in price especially if it's only 60hz and some games don't really support it so you can get borders or a weird stretch effect i've used one personally. I recommend getting a cheaper 1080p 144hz curved panel and adding a second one later on. I had a 1440p 75hz monitor then went to a 1080p 144hz monitor and it made all the difference barley noticed a quality difference and definatley noticed the fluidity of my games come to life you can easily get a aoc monitor for only $144 the one i currently own. I have no complaints just make sure to turn overdrive to medium as max causes a weird blur effect.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GD7H18F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A very good one. A nice, high end monitor costs between $400-$600 so with a remaining budget of $900-$1400 you can build a very nice machine.
Here is an RTX 2070 Mini-ITX build. You can save money buy not purchasing Windows and just making the installer and installing it yourself.
Mini-ITX is a smaller form factor motherboard. While it does limit your upgrade options somewhat, it is also very useful for building smaller footprint machines that are more portable and while you may give up some bells and whistles by going Mini-ITX, you can still get the crucial gaming performance you want out of it.
For a monitor, I'd look at this cheaper 1080p curved display. Your PC can comfortable game at 1440p but I picked out this cheaper 1080p monitor due to its price point and smaller form factor.
Down the road, IE when you are no longer bound to a hotel for six months, you could consider adding a more expensive 27'' 1440p display to your setup. The 23'' here can be used as a secondary display/travel monitor.

The best you could do with a $300 budget is spending 120-140 on an RX 570. You will see 20-30% of performance increase. You could spend the rest of the money on a decent 1080p 144hz monitor. Like this one which is $145 but is almost never in stock: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=144hz+monitor&qid=1596118009&s=electronics&sr=1-4

I would recommend dishing out $30-$50 extra to get an rx 580 if you are going to be playing other more demanding games.
Is this the right one? Seems to be a different price

Good to hear that you're getting a 144Hz monitor. Just a note, console does not actually go to 144Hz so that's likely why you never noticed it. (Also remember to set your display to 144Hz when you do build your new PC. 24" 1080p 144Hz monitors will range from about 145-200+ dollars. On the cheaper end is the AOC C24G1 Amazon at 145$ which isn't a bad buy if you're trying to save cash. Otherwise at just 15 dollars more is the Asus VP249QGR Amazon at 160$ which is a sort of better monitor than the C24G1 because of its panel type. If you can afford it, the AOC 24G2 is one of the most popular monitors at Amazon 180$ with a height adjustable stand. It's basically the Asus monitor, just with a better stand. Of course it can be difficult to find these in stock but it's really not too bad.
If brand new is still a little expensive, I'd recommend looking on Facebook Marketplace, offer up, let go, you might be able to find some for maybe about 100 if you're lucky or 120ish depending on your area. Good luck to you!
I own a Samsung LC24FG73FQWXXL it is curved 144hz 24 inch monitor. I barely notice the curve unless I look from sides and it costed me 24k when i purchased it. I'd say go for flat 24 inch cheapest 144hz TN panel with good response times that is just my recommendation as 144hz TN panel with 1ms response times are available as low as 12k on Amazon.
Here's Amazon Link as per your requirement and its a curved VA panel. (AOC 23.6-inch C24G1) - https://www.amazon.in/AOC-C24G1-Monitor-1920x1080-FreeSync/dp/B07GD7H18F/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=IPS+144hz&qid=1595518486&sr=8-7

Any 24" 144hz IPS monitors I should be on the lookout for? Aiming to keep it under $400, don't need super high end. Would like freesync however. I'd like to buy from Amazon for ez returns but their stock is limited right now.

Or this Acer XV240Y IPS for $270?

150 is a good budget idk what this guy is talking about
Okay so I know I said I wouldn't need a 144hz monitor but I'm kind of tempted to get the AOC C24G1 or this HP since it's VESA compatible.
I'm thinking I get the AOC and switch my main monitor to my second monitor and use the AOC 144hz as the main to watch movies and play games. It's curved so I'm not sure what to expect from that...
My apologies on the late reply. 1. Check out PCGamingRace’s Glorious Mouse and GMMK Keyboard Lineup. They have great deals on high quality gear. If you don’t want to spend $100+ on a mechanical keyboard, check out the G.Skill KM360. It has Cherry MX Red switches and is only $49.99. Then, pick up a Glorious Model O mouse for another $49.99 and you have a great keyboard and mouse setup.
Hope this helps.
Never fear, PriceKnight is here!

Hello!
So I did some checking around for retailers in Brazil. PCPartPicker doesn't have store prices built into it currently, and the retailers that I could find had higher prices than purchasing from Newegg Global. I'm not certain how/if you will be able to purchase through Newegg Global or Amazon, but the parts and prices are from those retailers. Maybe you can save on combined shipping.
The pc built here is budget in parts, but not in performance. This pc will play almost all current games at Ultra settings in 1080p. It has an NVIDIA turing gpu that can also be used for streaming. The gpu also has cuda cores for using blender. The cpu is both a gaming and workstation powerhouse. Note this benchmark is the 3600x not the 3600 (extremely similar performance).

cpu: ryzen 5 3600, one of the best value cpus on the market. Here is the passmark.
cpu cooler: stock cooler is fine
thermal paste: I suggest this for all ryzen 3000 builds even though the included air cooler has a stock paste applied. (requires removing the stock paste with alcohol) This ensures the best thermal conductivity. This is very important because of how the new chips are designed.
memory: a budget option of ddr4 3000mhz 16Gb of ram, for another $20 can upgrade to ddr4 3600mhz 16 latency memory (ryzen 3000 series processors benefit from faster memory, and will gain about a 3% performance boost in both gaming and other workloads, this was the only performance downgrade in the build)
storage: 500Gb m.2 ssd, middle of the pack speed, goes on sale often, 5-year warranty, a budget downgrade from 1Tb of storage for another $40
motherboard: a very budget motherboard, but should be fine for completing the build. It's a MAX version meaning it's ryzen 3000 compatible out of the box.
videocard: as explained above, the 1660 ti. here are the benchmarks compared with some other videocards when using the ryzen 5 3600. this is the average framerate across 40 games. If you needed to save some money, maybe could shop for a used 1660 ti or go with a 1660. The 1660 doesn't have NEW NVENC for streaming games, and it's also slightly worse gaming performance (still very good for the cost).
case: a budget mid-tower case, it's totally fine, it's larger than it looks, it has 3 pre-installed fans, doesn't look half bad
power supply: a budget power supply, still great value for money, 500 watts is totally fine for this build as both the 1660 ti and the ryzen 5 3600 are extremely power efficient
Monitor: I custom added this part, it wasn't on PCPartPicker. It's a 24inch, IPS (great color depth), Flat panel (I don't like curved at this screen size), 144hz, 1ms response time panel. At $180 it is more expensive than the $140 curved VA panel from AOC.
That's about it! I didn't want to go with a ryzen 5 2600 because it would downgrade both the gaming performance and the multi-threaded performance. The ryzen 7 2700 is also a significant gaming downgrade, but is fine for multi-threaded (still too expensive currently). Let me know if you have any questions!
I am curious about that curved one (fyi it's this one in case anyone's looking) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/
considering 2 for dualies, but strictly for productivity. anyone used dual curved for productivity?
if not a good idea, then i am considering these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KGMQGDT/
Depends what you're looking for
Possibly save a bit of money on the monitor for mostly the same specs and go with a AOC C24G1 its still curved as well
It's a good build and I recommend this monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/?tag=pcpapi-20
if you want 1440p
It's nice you finally got to try SWTOR, it's great game with ton of content nowadays. I still remember fondly the times I used to travel across all of those different planet's and battle teammates in 8v8 competitive pvp.

I will just point out somethings Regarding purchase of a laptop for PC gaming, it's great if you travel a lot.
If you just plan to game at home, I would recommend returning it and just building yourself a desktop. It's really easy, affordable actually and you will have more options if you desire to improve the performance later on. With a laptop you are stuck to what you got and cannot upgrade, you will need to buy brand new one when performance will not be enough on other games down the line.
I looked up that model. You can get it for 675 USD or so, and it's only got mobile GTX 1050 4GB, 4 core 8 threads CPU.For lower price you can get way better Desktop PC, albeit you would need to get a Monitor (which would be of course offer better experience that the built in one from MSI anyway).
You will get a 6 core 12 threads CPU, that also has 4% better SC performance. A RX 580 8GB or GTX 1060 6GB, which is 110% faster. All games will be able to run High settings without any issues. But mainly possibility to upgrade down the line, instead of purchasing whole new setup.

There is no retail Windows included, as you can run unactivated Windows or even just purchase codes for cheap.

Regarding monitors I will post 2 links, first would be for 60hz 1080p 24'' IPS monitor at around 90$ and other will be for +120hz 1080p 24'' IPS/VA monitor at around 180$. You have the option, both choices are probably better than what built in laptop offers.
24'' 1080p IPS 75hz with FreeSync 90$
24'' 1080p VA 144hz with FreeSync 180$
This will net you around same price at way better experience by smooth gameplay cause of higher performance and better monitor with also longer longevity.
That CPU holds up surprising well these days, so for your basic games, as mentioned , it should be okay. I'd go to 16gb of RAM at 2666mhz, get an mx500 SSD for your OS, this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD7H18F/?tag=pcpapi-20 , and get a new model RX 5700 (with two or more fans). Let me know if you want me to pick the specific parts
I've been looking at either this AOC 24" 1080p 144hz or this Dell 27" 1440p 155hz

this one? the 24 inch? It looks more expensive to me. Is that because it's 1ms instead of 4ms? I wonder if the difference would be noticable
That's good to know. I was looking into a 144hz monitor so I could benefit from higher frames when I upgrade my GPU. The one I'm currently eyeing is about $230 VA panel, the C24G1.

I recommend the AOC C24G1 if you can find it in an EU store.

If not, the MSI MAG241C is a great choice and if not the previous version MAG24C is good as well.
