PC nerds, hows this for a gaming monitor? I got a $200 Amazon gift card from my work fantasy league and figured id use it to mostly pay for a nice monitor.
I use this monitor. 1440p, 120hz, VRR. Works amazingly and was pretty cheap. Also has HDR but Xbox is dumb and won't allow HDR unless it's set to 4k and it's only 1440p so it won't let you. Hopefully in the future Microsoft allows HDR with 1440p and 1080p.

I have this monitor paired with my 2080ti and I think it’s great. 1440p is such a nice resolution and 144hz is smooth as butter
I looked around a lot, and this seemed to me as the best price per performance. 2k, 144hz, 1m/s response, etc.

At 27 inches you probably want 1440p since the pixel density with 1080p is pretty low. If you're gaming you probably want high refresh rate. A 1440p 144hz monitor is hard to get for $300. You will have to find a killer deal or monitor best buy open box deals. If you want to spend a bit more you can get this for $350, which I think is a good monitor, but you can try to find reviews for it. Alternatively you can get a 24' monitor 1080p 144hz for around $200.

This is a solid monitor for the price
I have this monitor coming this week for $260. I didn't do a helluva lot of research on monitors before hand, so I'm just wondering there the price difference is coming from.
Both are 27", 1440p, 144hz, 1ms. Is it the IPS vs VA? Flat vs Curved? G-sync vs Free-sync?
Hey, I just went with The AOC CQ27G2 - curved screen, Freesync, 2560x1440, VA panel for $260.
So far, so good. I've only had it a couple days but it's been a big improvement over my flat panel 1080p 60hz, that's for damn sure.
I just got this from amazon. It has really good reviews, and favorable youtube reviews from reputable channels too. It says in stock on October 19th, but it said that two days ago too. I just checked the page like 5 times a day, and it became available yesterday. I would just keep refreshing and try and get this

Just a heads up for any interested buyers who is thinking about getting it shipped. You could save a couple of bucks getting it from amazon + knowing you're getting faster shipping and 100% warranty.
Edit: it is still in stock and ready to ship/buy now. No clue why OP says there is a market price for these.
Looks like you are the 1% of the 1% :)

Sadly it looks like Amazon is sold out on the Monitor & it's an AOC CQ27G2(It's be awarded best budget 2k monitor by a lot of reviewers LTT and Hardware Unboxed) And I love it most because of the 3 year warranty & 1 year accidental. I've had 2 of them and I broke 1 because I'm abusive with my monitors :) but you can still get it for $209 but it say est arrival is Dec 4-5 if you check the other sellers you'll find the Amazon one

Don't. Run away from anything Asus. It aint worth it when something goes wrong and you need support or an RMA.
Highly recommend AOC given examples you provided
Fantastic budget 1440p monitor 27" 1ms at a great price, colors are decent. Plenty of great 1080p monitors out there though. Acer, LG, Asus and Dell all make great monitors, would recommend any of those brands.
I agree, personally think 240hz is a bit over kill, like it does make a difference but the difference from 144hz-240hz is minimal. Unless you get 240+ FPS consistently in what ever main game you play. The difference isn't as staggering compared to switching from 60<144hz. 1080<1440p switch is comparable to 60<144hz monitor
This Monitor is freaking amazing for 290$ 27" 1440p 144hz 1ms freesync. There literally is no better monitor at 1440p for that price point. Highly highly recommend you buy this. Unless you have a different monitor in mind.

I used this for a while, it’s a great monitor for the price. Nice picture and was great for hitting 120fps in Call of Duty online. I ended up selling it to grab a 4K 60fps because I play more single player games than online multiplayer.

So I'm really.... really stupid when it comes to linking the amazon site from another country but you might want to try the AOC CQ27G2. I have one and it's pretty good, but I would try to find a monitor with an IPS panel. I think this one is a VA panel. It's $259 US

This is the upgraded version of the I got 2 years ago and I'm probably gonna replace my 1080p with this one soon just looking at the price. I have an Asus 1080p with some burn in
I know I'm late to this party OP but here's the deal. 1080p at 24 inches and below is.... fine. For gaming you're not going to really be able to tell the difference between 1440p and 1080p on a 24 inch screen and below. If you plan on buying a screen bigger than 24 inches, 1440p is an absolute must, and it doesn't just apply for gaming. Productivity will go through the roof as well because you can fit so many more things on the screen. Multitasking becomes a breeze and you can feel like snapping a browser to one side while having a document over on the other side and things will not seem cramped. 1080p will get the job done but 1440p isn't really about the quality of the image. It's about the real estate that the resolution gives you.
This isn't the best monitor or anything but it's what I have and I used to have the exact same one but it was 1080p 165 hz and I will never go back to the old one. I love this monitor and its really good for gaming at a pretty good price. It's no OLED or anything but I can live without it.

EDIT: I messed up a LOT of words
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_i_GRXM8C3ZBST9JJZAZ998
Purchased this one last October. It's been great for me. I think it was $349 at the time (it goes on sale from time to time). Only downside is that it is not too bright.
Lol you got it right don't worry.
this monitor here is the one I use myself and it's really good. 2560x1440 resolution, 144hz refresh rate, 1500r curve.
This is what i am currently eyeing https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_4CSYXDP9DEGH0HW13W79?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hz: 144Hz Size: 27" curved Panel type: VA Resolution: QHD 2K 1500R Response time: 1ms Only downsides i see is VA is not as good as IPS for angles.
I'm quite happy with my CQ27G1. The newer G2 version is probably similarly good value. Curved though. Not sure if that's what you're looking for. Amazon.com: AOC CQ27G2
So I'm not sure what your looking for size wise or wether you want curved or flat but for a 32 inch 1440p monitor it would cost about $350 or if you went for something a little smaller a 27 inch at 1440p would be around $250 depending on if you want a curved or flat screen if you went down to 1080p you could go for an even higher hertz such as 240hertz but at that point not all games can even go that high and the differences between 144hz and 240hz are hard to tell, here's a pretty good 27 inch 1440p (2k is the same as 1440p) monitor to consider https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_BN27TW5Y1DG28DB8PYJE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
That’s what I’m wondering. I ordered the Pixio yesterday. The specs on that one seem better (165 Hz and HDR) but I don’t know much about monitors. I also have to send back the AOC CQ27G2 that I ordered a few days ago lol. Anyone have thoughts comparing these three monitors?

What do you guys think about this curved aoc?
I've been told to look for ips over va and TN panels so it's kind of ruined the curved screens for me lol. Since they are mostly va.
I have the 32" version of this monitor, it's excellent. I initially had it connected to a laptop with a 1660ti so your g14 can handle it.
I believe you want to go usbc to display port, that's how I have my g15.

I have my siege brightness around 60-65 I forgot the actual monitor settings though
This monitor could help. And also if your playing the series s on a 50 inch 4k tv then the difference wont really be big if its an enhanced game but if its a back compact game then there is going to be a big difference cuz remember the series s runs the one s versions of games so that's 720p,900p and sometimes 1080p at medium or low settings so just make sure its an enhanced game and i think youll be good because it will just upscale to 4k.
>/r/MechanicalKeyboards would like a word. You're not throwing money in the trash, you're buying something you're going to be typing on for the forseeable future.
How much a 70$ keyboard is different? No rgb? Oh yeah, I also prefer non-mechanicals. I get why people might like them but I don't. And trust me, I've tried a lot of them. Mid-end, high-end...
>Definitely not. I have a VA monitor but it's not considered superior by any means
I just googled it and it said that they are very similar, with IPS being just a tad bit better. I still don't get the 2 times price increase
>In what way is G-Sync unpolished? It's the same technology as freesync but uses an onboard module to adjust frametimes instead of offloading it to the graphics card. It's objectively superior. I'm happy AMD has popularized an open-source alternative but it's not better
If you are really into G-sync, here is a monitor that has it for 150$ less
I think this is the one you are talking about, but correct me if I'm wrong. One thing I noticed on this is it says it uses FreeSync and not Gsync and I was told that Gsync only works with NVIDIA cards and FreeSync is for AMD cards. I have a 2080 so would this still work even though it is FreeSync and NVIDIA? Also how is the curve? I haven't used a curved monitor before.
I saw this on amazon and I'm thinking it might be worth it to put in a few extra bucks for this. I was also looking at this AOC monitor, but it uses FreeSync not G-sync and I have an NVIDIA card. I was told that Gsync works best with NVIDIA cards and FreeSync works best with AMD cards, am I wrong on this?
So would you guys recommend this AUZAI vs this AOC?

That’s the one I have and I really recommend it. It’s also curved, comes with the hdmi cable in the box, has a height adjustable stand (super rare at that price point) and is the second gen model. It’s a great price too at $260.
How would this compare to

I just purchased this refurb with the warranty from amazon for a similar price.

I got this one for $260, I wouldn’t recommend getting it for $350 since I have seen the price go up and down multiple times. It will probably go back to 260 if you check often enough
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hprJFbE995GQA This is the monitor I use, and it is g sync and free sync compatible. However it is curved. The only thing is the base is rather flimsy but if you plan on remounting it it's not a problem. And regardless it does stand. It is only 259.99, but I will warn you they go fast at that price on Amazon. Hope this helps!
Hey man, don't know if you're still looking but this monitor dropped in price about $100 the other day and I bought it. Love it right now, no troubles and it's got comparable specs as the ones you posted.

Hello! I'm looking to purchase a second monitor to complete my dual monitor set-up. Per recommendation from a friend, I purchased this for my main monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I game a bit on my PC but most of the time spent on my PC is working from home lately. I was told that any 60hz monitor will work just fine as a second monitor, so I welcome any recommendations! I don't want to have to spend more than like...$150. Thanks!
Good luck! I will say that an extra $50 will bump you up to VA 1440p 144Hz (https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G1-DisplayPort-adjustable-Zero-Bright/dp/B0862YHJ56?th=1) so that's something to keep in mind.
I have the G1 Series of that AOC monitor and its been good to me so far. But the Dell that OP posted looks fine too if you aren't looking for 1440p
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_kKKCFbYP6YJY8
Here's another option I just bought a few days ago as well. Big plus for me was it being available with Prime 2 day shipping. Although, I just checked the price and it's gone up a bit. I paid $259.99 on the 22nd
I just found this one too https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=AOC%2BCQ27g1&qid=1601147953&sr=8-1&th=1&psc=1

Has free sync instead of gsync but that doesn’t matter as nvidia cards can use freesync
AOC CQ27G2: $270, 144hz, 1440p, 1ms, curved VA panel (curved helps with the viewing angle). I've used one for about 6 months and it's been great. The color isn't the best by any means though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vhlqFbZ6WRQ94

I have an Xbox Series X preordered and plan to use the same monitor for my console gaming same as I do PC. I have a 5700xt if that matters. Is this Acer a better option for that purpose than the recently posted AOC on Amazon? I currently have a 27" 1080p ASUS that will get demoted to my secondary.
Looking to grab a 1440p monitor since 4k 75hz monitors are still outta my price range.
Just for what it's worth, the AOC CQ27G2 is worth considering too at this price point. VA panel, bit cheaper than the ViewSonic with an adjustable stand. I've been happy with mine, just have to catch it when it's on sale at Amazon ($259.99): https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=aoc+cq27g2&qid=1597956784&sprefix=aoc+&sr=8-3

If its for gaming, no I wouldn't recommend it, low end IPS displays have bad contrast and higher response time, this one is 4ms which you will notice while gaming. I get that you're trying to go 4k on a budget but its often better to get a better version of a 1440p monitor than a lower version of a 4k monitor because who cares how much resolution you have if the experience using it is crap.
Maybe look at something like this, this or this.
At 27" you won't see the pixels with 1440p and if you're playing any AAA titles, you need at least a 3080 to game in 4k effectively so keep that in mind as well.
$800 + $146 after MIR.
Monitor is only clickable in the post below(not from PCPP part list).
Good luck with stocks.
Any questions, lemme know.

And here's OP's link minus the French-switching: https://www.amazon.ca/AOC-CQ27G2-Moniteur-dordinateur-Noir/dp/B0862YHJ56/
What about the AOC monitors? I've seen many good reviews on their 27in G2 series. They're about $260 right now. They are 1440p at 144hz. I'm in the market for a new monitor myself and it seems like this is the best I could find. Maybe i'm not looking hard enough?

Thoughts on this vs the AOC equivalent?

I found this one for under $300... Any opinion on this particular monitor for 2070 super + Ryzen 7 3700x?
AOC CQ27G2 1440p 144 hz for a really good price in my opinion. They sell them at Microcenter if you're close enough to one but if not, AOC sells them on Amazon
I personally like the corner desks for the same reason as you. Just moved into an apartment with my girlfriend though and space is a bit tight, so I've been pivoting towards just a straight desk. If you don't have the space for the corner desk, I would switch to a straight set up just for the sake of not cramping yourself. You might even be able to find a straight desk that could have an extension added to it to create the corner, who knows.
I would recommend a chair similar to what you have listed there. I bought a "gaming chair" off Amazon last year and it's comfortable for the first few hours and then it's damn near impossible to deal with. It's all padded and pleather so the heat just stayyyys in it no matter what, and if you don't have an AC I'd imagine it will be worse. Find something nice and vented that has at least some type of lumbar support if you plan on being in it frequently for extended periods of time.
Your monitors look good enough but personally, I would try and find a 27" that provides 1440p 144hz. Idk what type of productivity you are anticipating though, so if you don't need that type of definition, those would be perfect. If you would like a 1440p 144hz monitor I would investigate a bit more into AOC or LG. Both offer a very good 27" option that frequently goes on sale, and both monitors have great recommendations from the community. They are both 1ms monitors as well, which means they won't leave ghost images behind fast moving scenes or gameplay.

For your headphones, check out r/HeadphoneAdvice and r/headphones for help with that. You may be able to get a really solid pair of headphones for a lower than expected price. They helped me out immensely in that area.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's this monitor. Also I'll try getting a new DP cable the next time it happens and see if that changes anything
I'm over the rest of the conversation, you win, AMD is the best performing most efficient mid-tier GPU manufacturer ever, I just take issue with this -
> Unless you want low quality, bargain bin VA panels with atrocious response times (which defeats the purpose of 144 Hz), you'll be looking at spending ~$260 or more for an IPS or quality VA monitor.
AOC makes a decently reveiwed VA 1440p 144Hz display right now that's $209. I discovered this recently because my friend is purchasing some new 27" displays and I was helping her find something within her budget (~$200) and found some decent 1440p options. I figured I might buy a second 1440p 144Hz display now that the prices are so low and just about everything is "G-Sync compatible".
I have an aoc 27 inch curved 1440p new from Amazon was under 300.. I love it. Been a little over 18 months and no issues at all $210
This is what I’ve got for a monitor.
AOC CQ27G2 27" Super Curved... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
What about this one? Is it good?
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0862YHJ56?tag=pcp0f-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
Unless you just REALLY either can't afford it, or REALLY don't think you'll ever upgrade your specs in the near future (GPU's are finally falling in price) I would highly consider getting a 1440p - Even if you can't make full use of it in Tarkov, I'm sure there are other games you might play where you could.
The reason being, your 24" 1080p 144hz is probably going to cost at least $150, you could get this https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1652309354&sr=8-3 for not that much more.
Yes, on those settings and for those games you should be perfectly fine.
The budget is a bit of a problem, as there are really no decent 1440p monitors for $250 or less, unless you find a good sale. This was the best deal I could find on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A3F8JJUALKY70D&psc=1
If you can stretch your budget up to $300, you'll be able to get something a bit higher quality, like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LLD2QXJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 or https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MQBPMJ2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 . I recommend the LG 27GN800-B.
the one i got is probably a budget product too:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/
i like curved monitors but yeah couldn't really see using one as a secondary monitor
the one i got is this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/
i wonder how much better or worse this is compared to the acer, since they're pretty much the same specs from what i can tell aside from response time
I just bought this AOC 27" Curved monitor but I think I went too big. Lol. The curved aspect of the monitor doesn't bother me but I'm just looking at 1 monitor now, but I think a 24" is a better sweet spot for me, so I just bought this AOC 24" Curved monitor but hasn't been delivered yet.
But now I'm in between the 24" flat or curved for "dual monitor" setup...I'm all over the place. Lol. I read online that curved is better for your eyes and gives a more immersive experience that's why I went with curved, but now thinking flat could be good; especially for Excel since I mainly work in spreadsheets all day.

well this the monitor was going to buy for Christmas https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_api\_glt\_fabc\_FYAFR23XBQTGWQ2A85WD?th=1
halo right now but i was going to buy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_api\_glt\_fabc\_FYAFR23XBQTGWQ2A85WD?th=1
After doing some reading, I definitely think you're right. Seems like really good compromise so that I can keep my 144+hz. I found these three just a minute ago:
AOC CQ27G2 27" Super Curved ($289) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_FYAD4S8T777FMJTAGDDZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
ASUS TUF Gaming 27" 2K HDR Gaming Monitor ($269) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WQ4FXY9/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_BP8DYH044SN4M2MPQE6P
MSI Full HD Non-Glare ($292) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YMW8YY4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_P7ZFXTSQTAMK4NYKH7AX
They all seem like great options.
I'll make a note of it, but I found 3 2k/1440p monitors at 144+hz within my price range:
AOC CQ27G2 27" Super Curved ($289) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_FYAD4S8T777FMJTAGDDZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
ASUS TUF Gaming 27" 2K HDR Gaming Monitor ($269) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WQ4FXY9/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_BP8DYH044SN4M2MPQE6P
MSI Full HD Non-Glare ($292) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YMW8YY4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_P7ZFXTSQTAMK4NYKH7AX
These all look pretty darn solid. I honestly wasn't even aware of the 2k/1440p catagory until today. That's how long I've been out of the loop.
Currently running this monitor. 27" is the way
This is the current monitor I'm using. Solid build quality, decent price, and nice size.

i just replaced my AOC Agon 27" 1440P 165hz. its a very good monitor for a good price.
was the older version of this one.
I would agree with you but a lot of other monitors from reputable brands such as AOC and ViewSonic also have monitors with similar specs at this price range. For example the one from AOC here:
First result googling it, in stock sold and shipped from Amazon, $260.
Looking for a monitor recommendation for my (gaming mostly) build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/W8fCHz
I've read a bit and it sounds like the graphics card would limit what makes sense monitor-wise - I'm not looking for cutting edge (as you can probably guess by my old Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB card), but am fairly flexible with budget if there's something that would work well now and would not immediately be obsolete-ish if/when I get a new card down the line.
I've been interested in curved monitors - someone mentioned https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 as a possiblity - but any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
I'm not as tech savvy as i'd like to be, this monitor is 2K and i think 1440p ? although i'm not sure - would that be a stretch for the Steam Deck?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_0KYSSVTQ8E85PCE3Y3T9?psc=1
I have an Lg-gl83a for my main setup and was looking for something the same size and resolution but with potentially better colors / dark performance
Budget: $350
Prospective Resolution : 1440p
Size : 27 inches
Other Features (list other relevant features here): Don't need high refresh rate probably prefer a VA panel
Usage Type (gaming, art, etc.): Primarily for use in a dark room for movies and streaming. Would prefer 1440p over 4k for my specific use.
Some models I've found so far:
I have this one, it’s pretty good
AOC CQ27G2 Computer Gaming Monitor, Black, 27" https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_3WR00W8GP26HJ7Y1GASD
I recently purchased this 27" curved AOC. The colours a pretty nice, and at a very nice point.

Hi All,
TLDR: Can I run 2 USB-C to DisplayPort Cables out of the 2021 MSI GS66 Stealth into two 1440p 144hz gaming monitors without issue and get the max frames/resolution?
I am picking up the below laptop next weekend:
I am looking to hook this up to 2x of the below monitors and get 1440p 144hz on both of them.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I know the DisplayPort inputs on each monitor can handle 1440p 144hz, as that's what I'm running on my current setup.
My question is: how can I get this laptop connected to these monitors and get 1440p 144hz running simultaneously on both? I will *often* be using this laptop as a desktop replacement with the screen shut and connected to the two monitors. I do travel on the weekends though, so I'm pumped to have the laptop portability so I can game on the go.
The I/O on the MSI GS66 Stealth in question:
1x Thunderbolt 3
1x USB-C
1x HDMI (not sure if 2.0 or what, but I don't think any HDMI can carry 1440p 144hz).
I'm thinking THIS is the only solution... 2x of these bad boys: https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-uni-Thunderbolt-Compatible-More-Gray/dp/B075V27G2R?th=1
Plug those two into the MSI laptop USB-C ports and plug the display ports into the monitors and, in theory, I should be good to go. Can someone please confirm? I feel like someone out there has to be running this setup/had the same question as I did?
Thank you so much,
Loverboy

PLEASE help me pick a gaming monitor. Currently have a 1080p Walmart monitor. I looked up some guides but they could be ADS for all I know. I don't want to spend more than $300. I think I want 120-144hz as well as 1440p display(but not a deal breaker). My biggest want is good light(HDR??) this Walmart monitor is poor in dark areas/corners. Its just not sharp, and bland colors all around. Here are the two I have found after searching that I may grab. I want to give curved a shot because I sit very close, unless opinions say otherwise.

If you have a better option please let me know.

This is a bit more but if the higher resolution means that I'm going to use it and be happy with it for longer than its completely worth it. Thoughts?

Only thing is that VRR causes flickering. 1440p/120 works though
Do you know if this monitor supports 120hz with freesync? (With hdmi) I can’t find out anywhere
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
This monitor supports up to 120 FPS with freesync over hdmi

Do you know if this monitor can run 120 over hdmi?

Maybe also consider a VA panel. They have deeper colors and might help with your issue. The AOC 27G2 is a good option link to Amazon for it
If you can afford the extra $60 or so this is a great option https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56

This one here has a VA panel, which is actually more responsive than an IPS, but you lose a bit on the color side. Although still great. Better than a TN panel for picture quality. Better than an IPS panel for response time.

This also has freesync premium so it will work with the Variable refresh rate of teh xsx. Not as bright as the other 2 i mentioned, But much higher contrast than IPS, which is typical of a VA panel. $355 (and it has some curved sexyness if that is your thing.)
Anyone looking for a nice 1440 144hz monitor this is a great deal at $260

I went for a 1440p/144hz monitor with freesync https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
If you want a 4K/120 monitor, you’ll be spending close to $1000
I just ordered this monitor for the series X https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
I just bought this monitor a couple of days ago and it's fantastic. It's my first high refresh rate monitor and I'm liking it so far.
I got this monitor https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
It has two HDMI 2.0 ports, freesync, 1440p 144hz
Would something like this be good? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_LCaDFb3K6JZ1X
Bc I’m currently debating between 1080p 144hz and 1440p
I bought this https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
Was playing on a 720p tv before

Is it bad for a 27 inch to be curved? I just ordered this one: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
Its a good monitor but personally im going with this https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1B4JBXXJVBW8J&dchild=1&keywords=aoc+cq27g2&qid=1601224478&s=electronics&sprefix=aoc+c%2Celectronics%2C168&sr=1-1 as I wouldnt need to upgrade my switch and dont wanna deal with all of that since this monitor comes with 2 hdmi 2.0 ports, and the warranty from AOC is really good
not OP but I settled on this https://www.amazon.ca/AOC-CQ27G2-Computer-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=pd_ybh_a_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=RBNRHX27X5NT5NVEB3T1 1440p, 144hz and has 2 hdmi 2.0 ports and 1 display port
https://amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
There may be better, but for me I don't have any ghosting issues or anything, and I was able to tune the color very nicely to get close to OLED color tuning (tuned it against my Galaxy S20 and TCL TV). There's non-curved versions. It came with an hdmi 2.0 and displayPort cable too.
Strange. I thought it was there. https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=33YU42JNS6MQ3&dchild=1&keywords=1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1600436598&sprefix=1440%2Caps%2C176&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFMSVJBTk1aTU1VU04mZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAyMTAzMzQySUlGS0hINkFWOExWJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA3ODQzOTIySVJCMUVRWVBITU4wJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== --this is the 1440p one
I've got (the one that AOC makes. Ghosting is noticeable in Destiny and when you're running the opposite direction of another crewmate in Among Us. Neither bother me. All in all, amazing monitor.

If you're fine with a VA panel, You can get a 144hz/1440p curved monitor for $30 more
And 60hz IPS' run around the same price.
FreeSync is an open standard as of a while ago. Here's how.
This is the cheapest I could find but it has decent reviews. $200 is tough for 1440p. Might find a higher quality 1080p 144hz monitor at that price point.
https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
Im 101% sure this is the way to go.
So which is the better pick? This or This?
The CQ27G2 from AOC seems to be a good option: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=AOC%2BCQ27G2&qid=1594543134&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1

It’s horrible getting used to it, or curved monitors are horrible in general? Lol
The one I ordered is only a 1500R curve https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G2-Frameless-Adjustable-Guarantee/dp/B0862YHJ56
