Ok, and will the type of plug that my 220v takes, is that the kind the 220v PDU plugs into? This is really the only PDU that i can find that is a surge protector 20amp and 208v rated https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001N9W8C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A16NPAQ5XXNNMN&psc=1 Do I have to buy some type of converter to make it fit into this type of socket https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/120-or-220v-outlet.161055/ Extension cord wise 20 amp 220v is somewhat lacking but I found this https://www.amazon.com/AC-WORKS-20AEX-050-Household-Anti-Cold/dp/B077SPHWFZ/ref=sr_1_24?ie=UTF8&qid=1513453091&sr=8-24&keywords=extension+cord+50ft+20+amp It says its up to 20amps and has a 300 volt jacket (does that mean it goes up to 300volts) It looks like that extension cord will fit into my socket but then I'm not sure the PDU takes that sort of plug. And even if the PDU does plug into that type of plug or I buy a converter that allows me to go from extention cord and then attach my PDU, I'm noticing these pdu's all have this type of outlet on them https://www.amazon.com/APC-AP9565-Basic-Surge-Protector/dp/B0001JXAAW/ref=sr_1_13?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1513453335&sr=1-13&keywords=pdu+surge+protector The two outlets on this pdu all look the same however my power connectors on my PSU are https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0017RAJFQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so, it doesn't look like my power plugs can even plug into this pdu. (not that i was going to get that one, but for example) The female of the PDU is not the same as the male of my power plugs, however is it is the same female, so I dont see how that would work?
edit: also I notice the extension cord I have listed there comes with some type of converter. It looks like it goes from the 220v plug i have to the regular standard 3 prongs. Not sure if that helps

>So I have a NEMA 6-20 220v 20 amp outlet which I wanted to run my 2 new L3+s off of. So I bought an adapter from 6-20 to L6-20. And then an extension cord from L6-20 to L6-20 to run the miners in my room away from the socket. The PDU i bought though https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001N9W8C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 takes L-30. Honestly I just saw the three prongs and assumed there coudln't possibly be more then 1 type of 3 prong. I was told the PDU even though its a 30 amp PDU, can run on 20 amps. Maybe thats not true? Anyway should I just get another adapter to put after the extension cord to go from 6L-20 to 6L-30 and then into the PDU? or is that too many adapters and stuff or should i just return all the cords and adapters I have so far and instead just get a a 6-20 to 6L-30 adapter and then the 6L-30 extension cord right into the pdu? These adapters do seem to be very well made https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07732ZZGD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And I do have like a fear of returning stuff, honsestly I'd much rather just get another adaptor from 6L20-6L30 so I use all the stuff I have right now and then it would just be one more adaptor. Pretty much unless you guys tell me thats a fire harzard or something. But then I'm thinking if I went the other way and returned the stuff, Can I even run a 6L-30 extension cord from a 20amp line? (of course all the voltages match up)
