before people come in here telling you to blow a hundred dollars on a bluelab im here to tell you you can get a better ph pen for 50 dollars from apera instruments on amazon. get the ph20. it is very accurate, reliable, and calibrates itself as long as you have the calibration solution. i have gone through the cheap generic yellow ones from amazon that cost 15 dollars and bluelabs. the apera is the way to go. just remember to keep the cap full of tap water every time its not in use to keep the probe wet. i have had mine for almost a year with no problems now. definitely worth the 50 bucks.
