They have a newer version out with a LED light. I got the older one and use this light instead of the crap one it comes with Zoo Med UltraSun Daylight Compact Fluorescent Bulb, 10-Watt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003QZF7JA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wQpszbTM9EE43

I have both of my betta fish in these tanks. (one fish per tank)

I'm not sure if the fluval spec is made of glass or not, but this tank is all plastic. The only complaint I have about this tank is the built in filter. Since the filter is built into the plastic rim it makes it almost impossible to use any other filter than the one it comes with. If you're planning on using a carbon insert for the filter then you're fine, but I struggled trying to find a sponge that would fit the shallow stock filter. the filter looks like this.

Its only a little bit cheaper than the fluval and besides the filter issue I really like the tanks. I like the fact that its bowed out in the front instead of just rectangular. It also has a cut out in the hood for a heater.

I'm currently at work so i can't show pictures of my set up :/ but maybe if i remember i'll share some with you when i get home.
