This community was very helpful in finding the best option for me and discounts.
While it has been reported that Lovesac would not lean on deep discounts moving forward, the best pricing can be had on 4th of July, Black Friday, and seemingly endless stream of recent flash sales.
I was luckily to have a couple of showrooms near by.
I sat on a standard fill sectionals that had been there anywhere for 4-7 years. very well broken in. If you are considering Lovesoft, sit on the couch for more than 20mins. I found the seat cushions bottomed out for me (5'10" 190lbs). I might get some Lovesoft inserts for some new throw pillows (currently using our old set).
We nearly went with the Vintage Blue Rained Chenille. One of the show room had larger fabric samples (about the size of a small blanket) to view instead of the mini swatches. I preferred the way the corded velvet caught the light.
We had some shipping issues. The showroom didn't include the cup holder in the shipping info and our rep lied about the cause (blamed warehouse issues. corporate confirmed it was added to the order, it just wasn't added to shipping instructions by the rep at the showroom.)
One of the deep seats was lost in transit. Took 2 weeks to get reshipped and delivered. (fingers cross it shows up. If it's under $500 there is no police report, if it pops up, it's a free seat)
Do yourself a favor and get that fabric stretcher. it will save your fingers and frustration.
If you have a garage it is probably best to use that open space to unbox and breakdown everything when you are done. I did most of this in my home office and carried down each piece since we were trying to well our old sofa and loveseat at the same time.
The rug we have is a bit of an issue with the shoes.
it's pretty common to put sofa legs on top of the edge of an area rug. If you are only putting the front shoes on the rug, or half of the front shoes, the whole sofa will look like its doing a wheelie. I haven't found a solution just yet. Torn between getting a rug big enough to put the entire unit on there or just living with it as-is. Right now we have the rug in front of the shoes.
We don't have the Ottomans on shoes. They are just easier to move around without them.
This is the order I would suggest unpacking.
Unpack: Covers, Sides, Seats
Stack: all accessories (clips, pads, poles and shoes)
Covers: put covers on sides (use that stretcher), then seats(an extra set of hands for the storage units are very helpful). Put felt pads on feet and shoes. use their shoemap, layout shoes, build sides, drop in seat bottoms, clips in seats, Velcro down seat cushions, keep extra cushions under the seat with poles.
A note on Fluff and Stuff: Jump on seat cushions. It will help break them in, and also ensure they are pushed all the way in the corners. Pull apart fibers in back cushion chambers before putting covers on. I found it easier to align the seat cushions once the sides and bases were clipped together.
Benefits of ordering from a showroom: We ordered 3 deep and 3 standard back cushions only because we weren't sure if we wanted to to have a smooshed together back with standard cushions or the neatly placed deep cushions. We went with standard but are happy that we got deep cushions for the chaise lounge.
That last storage base at the end of the chase lounge doesn't have a back. but it's turned to be wide so it aligns with the side(behind throw pillows) and deep seat it is connected to.
Watch your fingers around the shoes. assume if your fingers are under the base, they are in danger of getting smashed.
Keep the little ones away while you are building. My 2 year old was helping jump on the cushions to break them in, then he got brave and kept jumping when they were on the base, nearly did a swan dive on to the floor if it wasn't for dad reflexes.
The smallest pre-made screens I can find are about 9" x 10".
A few yards of 230 mesh from eBay is about $10 Amazon offers "Shuttle Art Stretched Canvas, 15 Multi Pack, 4x4, 5 x 7, 8 x 10, 9x12, 11 x 14 Inches (3 of Each)" for $20. I'd remove the staples and canvas and have wood frame stretchers in these sizes ready to go. Then stretching pliers for $13 to really stretch, but distribute that force over a larger area to avoid tears.

This was what I had in mind (roughly) just for clarity. I appreciate the advice.
