Not sure if you have the camera adapter T2 ring and the extension that allows your eyepiece to stay in the light path.
If not, you are loosing the magnification of your eyepiece and planets will only look small.
And as everyone else has mentioned, camera in manual mode to adjust ISO & shutter speed.
I'm glad my posts could serve as inspiration :) Yes, the eyepieces that come with the scope should fit in the projector. I bought this eyepiece projector along with a t-ring adapter for my camera. Make sure the projector you buy is the correct size for you telescope. For example, the projector I bought is 1.25 inches, but I know some telescopes use 2 inch eyepieces.
I mean it depends on the internal diameter of the T ring, but you might be able to fit it around the part of the eyepiece that comes out of the Barlow.
And if it doesn’t fit you may need to get something like this.
So I purchased a piece of equipment for eyepiece projection photography like this one. The other piece you need is a T-Ring adapter, which is specific to your camera brand.
You put an eyepiece inside that thing, then it goes into your focuser. You screw on the T-Ring adapter to the other end and that connects to the camera where the lens would normally connect.
I then use Live View to set the focus (using the scopes focuser), shutter speed, and ISO so it looks decently exposed... and record a video.
Camera is a Sony a65 DSLR and the telescope I’m using is the etx-80 and this was the Barlow I was looking at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0140U9URO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hgcqFbWGX9DYX
