Ok, well I have one more question for you. Do you know if you can put a 3.0 slot into a 2.0 slot? I've been looking for a 2.0 all day at a good price. Because I found this and think it should work with my computer if you can put a 3.0 into a 2.0 https://www.amazon.com/GeForce-Express-128-bit-Graphics-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5/dp/B00IB9P1KG?psc=1&SubscriptionId=AKIAJGB4HK6JUDBWQG7A&tag=show_product_reviews-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00IB9P1KG This is also the recommended one.
If you are short on ram it could hinder the experience, yes. So can a slow processor. Just look at the system requirements on evolves steam page for a general idea. This looks cheap and would definitely run Evolve pretty well provided you don't have any bottlenecks: low processor/low ram. In the future if you need graphics related help, post your CPU, ram, AND GPU in your first post.
Didn't have a price in mind since OP was my first thought to sell. Would 85 shipped sound good? It's an Asus that takes a 6-pin connector. Here's the model
something like this? http://www.amazon.ca/GeForce-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5-Performance-Graphics-GDDR5/dp/B00IB9P1KG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454032149&sr=8-1&keywords=graphics+card.
Do you think I would see a large improvement over my current Radeon HD 7450?
I dunno maybe stuff is more expensive in europe, here the average is $100-120 for a new one (€90-110)
and of course if its a few years old I would probably want to pay about half that.
The GPU is very weak. Id suggest you upgrade that to something like this: Its about 50-60 bucks more, but it'll speed up not only gaming but general use as well. As for the SSD, a 60 GB one should be fine for OS+ select programs.
Awesome info, I really appreciate it. I've been eyeing this one on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IB9P1KG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=D16KW1OV6FYM&coliid=I3C4LNBQ21AEJL
How would that be? Also could you provide an nVidia equivalent?
My GPU cost me $100 and I get 150FPS on 1280 on the lowest (it's a Nvidia GeForce GT 640).
If you can spend upwards of $165 and only need a GPU (not too sure how your current other parts could handle it e.g. PSU and CPU), I'd get this GPU, however, it may get throttled to hell by your other parts not being able keep up.
Maybe head over to /r/BuildAPC, they would be better for this type of thing :)
I would have gotten a 750ti if I were you. Cheaper and more powerful. :)
On Amazon they have a pretty swell 750ti from ASUS for $155 http://www.amazon.com/Asus-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5-ASUS-Graphics-Cards/dp/B00IB9P1KG
Here's a Linustechtips vid on the card and how it compares to others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcrFzOpTHkw
depending on your budget. if you have a tighter budget, go for 1050. vice versa for 1050ti. you can get 50-60fps in battlefield 1 (1080p) for 1050ti. a little lower for 1050.
Here we go: https://www.amazon.com/GeForce-750Ti-GDDR5-Graphics-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5/dp/B00IB9P1KG?ie=UTF8&tag=pcpapi-20
GTX 750 Ti, will run the game maxed at Full HD at 60+ fps.
If you're going to get a 750TI make sure you have a 6 pin PCI-E connector. If you don't get a 750TI without the needed additional power. For example
Effectively very little. I would consider this a minimum to work with.
I found this on Amazon
Maybe that and a Samsung SSD?
Is there a difference between these two besides price?

OK, so I'm 15 and I have VERY little money. I'm having issues deciding on the GPU I should get. Here are my options currently : 1) Asus GTX 750ti http://www.amazon.com/GeForce-750Ti-GDDR5-Graphics-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5/dp/B00IB9P1KG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1445749709&sr=8-2&keywords=gtx+750ti 2) Zotac GTX 750ti http://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-GeForce-DisplayPort-Graphics-ZT-70605-10M/dp/B00KHUE0MC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1445749709&sr=8-3&keywords=gtx+750ti 3) Sapphire R7 360 http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Version-PCI-Express-Graphics-11243-00-20G/dp/B00ZGL98X8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445749840&sr=8-1&keywords=sapphire+r7+360
Factors (numbers are corresponding to their GPU as listed above): 1. Has a VGA port. My monitor uses VGA. Is significantly more expensive. 2. Is cheap. Has no VGA(would have to buy a converter).Unsure of performance compared to the Asus version. 3. Cheapest one here. Has no VGA. Unsure of performance compared to other GPUs here on this list.
Can anyone recommend me a PSU for my GPU for fairly cheap? http://www.amazon.com/GeForce-750Ti-GDDR5-Graphics-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5/dp/B00IB9P1KG
Would this card work on a 350W PSU? http://www.amazon.com/GeForce-750Ti-GDDR5-Graphics-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5/dp/B00IB9P1KG
Dude, I'm just going to say you can super cheap graphics cards for less than 80 bucks. Hell you can get a 750ti for 100 bucks. Whatever you're doing, you're doing it wrong.
We were all noobs at some point ;) http://www.amazon.com/GeForce-750Ti-GDDR5-Graphics-GTX750TI-OC-2GD5/dp/B00IB9P1KG
This one is fine:
The minimum CPU requirement for dota 2 is duel core at 2,8 so you should be fine. just grab a Geforce 750 ti or 960 and you should be in the money. im not a fan of AMD yes they are cheeper but generally they comsume more power and more noise.
