All plug in electric space heaters perform about the same. If the garage is small and insulated, get one that has features you like. Smart heaters are nice (I have this one) because you can set a schedule or turn it on remotely before you go out. Realize that these will be slow to warm small spaces, and completely ineffective in larger or uninsulated spaces.
