The entry level AT-LP60
I assume if you’re wanting something with Bluetooth you don’t care too much about sound quality so this is a good option for convenience and ease of use.
Edit: there’s one without Bluetooth so make sure you get the model with Bluetooth

I recently got a random, cheap, chinese BT adapter that 'converts' a wired headphone into a bluetooth one, works fine, but battery lasts like 30 minutes.
Sadly can't give any suggestions, other than getting a turntable with BT, good luck!
Is this the correct one? Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK Fully Automatic Bluetooth Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable, Black, Hi-Fi, 2 Speed, Dust Cover, Anti-Resonance, Die-cast Aluminum Platter https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BJ26AXNTE560GACV0XF9
Absolutely recommend Audio Technica. Mid range, outstanding quality for the price, and simple for anyone to use. Please don’t get some garbage like a Crosley all in one turntable, It’ll sound terrible & you’ll end up with messed up LPs. You’ll miss out on the whole listening experience.
(I actually lucked out & have a high end Marantz/Klipsch setup from the 70s bc my old hippie Uncle was a serious audiophile who always had to have the latest audio equipment — that said, I’ve found myself barely ever bothering with it anymore— I love using my AT and just bluetooth connecting to a speaker).
I’ve had a few models, currently have this one ( Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Turntable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_QdyZFbER66EPQ?psc=1 ) and also just bought the same one for my best friend’s birthday in Sept. He’s got a bunch of vinyl from his travels, but somehow no turntable. He’s worked in the music industry for nearly 20 years now so he’s picky with everything on earth, and he’s fucking thrilled with it & has been ordering records like crazy as of late. So that one’s got my vote, apologies for the wall of text, hope it helps in some way.
Audio Technica is one of the best turntable manifacturers in my opinion. They recently updated their LP60, it's now called the LP60XBT and depending on where you live, it'll only cost you around 150 Euros/Dollars/Pounds on amazon. If you're looking for something more high-end, consider the LP120.
Hope I could help :)
Vinyl is appreciated due to its analog signal. Taking that analog signal, converting to digital for Bluetooth, then converting it back to analog only to be played over a sound bar... youre really not doing your music any favors. After all you're doing to the signal, it's just as easy to bluetooth some spotify from your phone.
If running a cable is impossible, either move the turntable, or just get a bluetooth turntable.... even though such a product is sacrilegious to me.
Vinyl being sent via bluetooth to a soundbar... this statement would literally send the folks at r/audiophile to your door with pitchforks.
Haha I feel you on that! Part of the reason why I went with this one, it's simple and affordable.
I got the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK.
I definitely window-shop on some of the higher end models but wanted something to be able to play what I own already.
I just bought this turntable, the appeal of Bluetooth sounded good. Please recommend some speakers for it. Is there anything that I could also use for my TV/home theater setup?
Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK Fully Automatic Bluetooth Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable, Black, Hi-Fidelity, Plays 33 -1/3 and 45 RPM Vinyl Records, Dust Cover, Anti-Resonance, Die-cast Aluminum Platter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hxa1Db2WMNR9K
TLDR for the advice. That record player looks pretty cool, but it won't play super well and will damage your records. It's a very thoughtful gift, but I recommend getting the Audio Technica LP60 instead. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uvSwFbKCP3H5Z
Also, get some powered speakers and you'll be set: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016P9HJIA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AwSwFb93Q6G9C
This will give you a nice easy setup that will sound great, won't damage your records, and won't cause you any problems.
Best of luck!
Instead of the Sony:
Speakers:
Digital mini amp and passive speakers. Then the amp and speakers can later be upgraded one part at a time.
Powered Speakers instead of the Edifiers: Good for a desktop setup or small room.
Better analog stereo receiver and passive speakers:
Speakers:
Plus OFC Speaker Wire or cheaper Basic CCA then How to Install Speaker Wire and How To Strip Speaker Wire.
Or look for a used stereo or AV receiver and a pair of used passive speakers. What is a nearby town or zip to search?

I just got this a few months back and love it. The automatic stop/start feature is great!
Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3RFXRL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
highly recommend this one for beginners
Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-BK Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Turntable (Black) (ATLP60XBTBK) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_iqRxFbHPEEMJP
With kids around and a soundbar a basic automatic may be sufficient and you can teach them to press the START button before moving on to a manual turntable when they are older.
Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT $149 has a built in Bluetooth transmitter.
Or Audio-Technica AT-LP60X $99 with TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter $36 for a bit less and you can later use the transmitter with a different turntable or other audio source or as a Bluetooth receiver to use with your phone.

Any luck with this? I dunno Amazon, its not available in my country
Some nice budget ones.

Alright guys. I get it. This was a christmas gift, and I wanted to play some vinyl.
I'm buying a new Record Player: https://www.amazon.ca/Audio-Technica-AT-LP60XBT-BK-Automatic-Belt-Drive-Turntable/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=295X5E9914Q6A&keywords=audio+technica+record+player&qid=1641188279&sprefix=audi%2Caps%2C88&sr=8-1
Also, I honestly have no idea how it got so dirty. But I'll be cleaning it with a new brush: https://www.amazon.ca/Boundless-Audio-Record-Cleaner-Brush/dp/B071DWG4C8/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=31BRNFHCUKH6Y&keywords=vinyl+brush&qid=1641188327&sprefix=vinyl+brush%2Caps%2C83&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzQUJFNTRaMjhOVE9UJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDEzOTAyWUM0TUU2UURJQTZFJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA5NTkwMzEyS1QzSjNLUjc2QkFBJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
So, I learned.
Alright, gonna upgrade my record player. https://www.amazon.ca/Audio-Technica-AT-LP60XBT-BK-Automatic-Belt-Drive-Turntable/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2ZSLDL9Q2VFNV&keywords=AT-LP60XBT&qid=1641180387&sprefix=at-lp60xbt%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-1 would this be good?
i don’t mind the questions and this is a good / important one! :) personally, i’m in love with mine. it’s an audio technica one!
This turntable:
and these Bluetooth speakers:
The speakers have a really high quality amp built in. I have them and they’re terrific. You can read a review here: What HiFI review Total cost =~$900.
Shop around - I hate Amazon so you can probably get the turntable elsewhere.
If you want to spend more money a friend has this turntable. He likes it but I can’t hear any difference between it and the AT (he has the same speakers as me).
Happy listening 😀
Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT $149 is automatic and easy setup plug and play.
The manual Target Heyday $99 and Crosley C6 BT $129 both add adjustable tracking force and a removable cartridge if you are comfortable with learning how to balance the tonearm and setting the tracking force.
The AT-LP60XBT is a better choice for around the same price: https://www.amazon.ca/Audio-Technica-AT-LP60XBT-BK-Automatic-Belt-Drive-Turntable/dp/B07N3RFXRL

Yeah i was looking at this (which i assume is the AT LP60) because i heard about cheap record players warping records. Would this be good for a starter?
Looking at Audio technica I found the LP60XBT, it's belt driven, and has bluetooth, so I can listen indoors or outdoors. It looks good to me, but I don't really know what to look for. It's about $100 cheaper than the LP120XUSB which concerns me. I don't mind paying for something nice, but I need the Bluetooth which doesn't come on the more expensive models. I realize not everyone enjoys playing vinyl through BT, but it's a bose speaker and it's about the only time I have to listen to my music. Any ways, i would love your opinion on the machine. thanks..... https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT-LP60XBT-BK-Belt-Drive-Hi-Fidelity-Anti-Resonance/dp/B07N3RFXRL/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=turntable&qid=1595196415&refinements=p_89%3AAudio-Technica&rnid=2528832011&s=aht&sr=1-3
this was on sale for 99 dollars when I got it a month or so ago. It's the most reasonable base level one I've seen. It has a regular 3.5 mm Audio jack out. I don't need an amplifier/receiver with it because I have powered speakers (that have a built in amplifier) most computer speakers are powered speakers and have a 3.5 mm input so would work with this. Basically if your speakers have their own volume knob and require to be plugged in seperatly then they have a built in amplifier. There are tons of built in briefcase record players on amazon but they have the problem that they probably have a pretty crappy sound and down the road you can't change the speakers. Although maybe a really crappy record player will enhance your vaporwave enjoyment.
The AT-LP60XBT is on sale for $119. It's not a very good buy at $149 since you can add Bluetooth to any turntable with a built in phono preamp or external preamp by adding a $30 Bluetooth Transmitter.

This was the one I started out with! Plays great and subs good. You can use Bluetooth speakers with this or hook it up with the cables.
