Oh man... Disappointing in that my state has delayed making growing legal for medical purposes. It's kind of in limbo as a panel has been kind of delaying passing the regulations. Should be any month now, so it is coming, but it's hard to guess when.

I did buy my equipment, and I ended up going with these clip-on fans. I think if I had to buy it over again, I'd probably go with one of the AC Infinity Cloudray fans that are coming out, largely because I'd be able to hook it up to the AC Infinity controller. I'd probably also get an AC Infinity light for the same reason - would make it easier to set/control the light from my smartphone. But I am very happy with the light that I got, which is a HLG 260W QB. Wasn't too hard to set up.

I should mention that I did have to use zip ties to hold the clip-on fan in place. Unfortunately, the clip part doesn't neatly clamp onto the poles. It works fine, though!

Basically just waiting for it to be officially legal, and then I'm going ahead with it! Everything is setup & waiting to go...

I agree with you mostly. I just got VR and I’ve noticed the realism of the head motion had helped me in someways be faster in traffic. However some games like RF2 i’m slower. I think the head motion contributes to the motion sickness a little more that’s my only problem it’s not speed for me. Last thing is the lack of g force as mentioned too. For me the speeds isn’t an issue overall i’m not breaking any records though since I just started basically a few months back with a wheel.

However for those getting motion sick I bought a fan that clips on to my rig and I noticed if I blow air on my face / ears / neck it almost 100% gets rid of the sickness.

Yes this helped me a ton! I more than doubled the time I could race in VR thanks to it. My fan isn't all that powerful, just a little desk fan that can clamp onto my desk like this:

I've had mine for almost a year and I love it. Only thing that sucks is you cant hang it.. From what I read while looking for clip oscillating fans they're all expensive junk and don't last more than a year or so.

It is adjustable but doesn't oscillate. I didn't see any smaller clip fans that oscillated, and when I looked at the prepackage grow tent kits places were offering they didn't seem to have oscillating fans other so I'm pretty comfortable with it. I figure I'll just move the fan around to different areas from time to time

My partner needs a fan that can clip on the shelf near his desk.

Take a little desktop fan and shove it in the hole at the top pointing outwards. It'll pull some of the heat out. I use these. They work great for that purpose.
