I buy it in bulk everyone year to treat the SOs and mine gear, usually about 6 outfits the tent our packs and some other stuff, will last all season. Here is the Amazon link, I use to buy the littler bottles of Sawyer but its a lot cheaper just to buy the bulk of it.
I buy it in bulk on Amazon every year to treat a lot of camping gear it's cheaper that way, depending on how much you plan to treat. Here is the link, Sawyer has smaller bottles but its double the price/ounce.
I've had good luck with the Sawyer brand Picaridin while hiking/backpacking. I've always heard high concentrations of DEET can damage synthetic materials, so I don't want my hiking shirt or pants destroyed by the stuff. )
Also been using this brand of Permethrin to treat my clothing and other gear for a couple years now. Works great, haven't had a tick attach in all the time I've been using it.
We also have a couple of those lantern style Thermacell that use the butane cartridges. Works well when on the porch or in the backyard. I also own one of the "backpacking' style Thermacells that attach to an isobtane canister. Have only used that one really once while backpacking, but it seemed to do the job.
They're bedbugs. Sorry man. Here is a miracle chemical: Permethrin https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TNYPQY4/ Apply to cloths, furniture, walls, and floors.
