I use these. No problems removing them when necessary.
I stick a sheet in my laser printer, and use the avery software to print a student name to each label. I also use them to label my classroom chromebooks and calculators with my name and a number. That way, if they get left somewhere they are more likely to make it back to me.
we use these... can be printed or written on.

I don't do FBA but the information that I've read on this sub is that every item you send in for FBA needs to have a label with a barcode on it. My understanding is that it identifies the product and that you are the seller of the product. It needs to cover the original barcode and if you place the labels directly on the item/box it needs to be removable like these. These labels can be used with a laser or inkjet printer. Many hard core FBAs buy thermal printers as they find it faster/easier. If you are only sending in a couple items you can pay Amazon to do the labeling themselves. The poly bags would be for used items without packaging, unsealed items, if you aren't using removable labels, etc. Keep in mind that items to Amazon are going to a (dirty) warehouse. If the poly bag has a large enough opening (I believe it's 5+ inches) it has to have a suffocation warning on it like these.
>I'm going to cut them all out individually tomorrow and use shipping tape to tape them on.
You should honestly go get labels now and not tape paper to your products. I don't even think tape is allowed, but if it was, the customers would sure be disappointed with such an ugly and non-removable solution.
You should be able to go to any office, or best buy type store and get Avery removable labels like these http://www.amazon.com/Avery-Removable-White-Labels-Count/dp/B00004Z65P
That will hold you over until you can order a larger pack of 3000 or more.
I'm using the rest of some I got from ULINE: http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-8080/Laser-Labels/Removable-Laser-Labels-White-2-5-8-x-1 and will probably not reorder from them.
They stick great and don't curl. The print quality is excellent, and they remove even after 4+ months off any type of surface I've tried.
However, they are a lot more expensive than what you can find elsewhere. They are also a bit thin. You can quite a bit through the label. It doesn't mess up the barcode scanner but I'd like them a bit thicker.
