My baby wasn’t really rolling on tummy at 5 months. It was more so of a struggle to move, kinda got on her side, then would slam back down on her back. Never got to being on the stomach until 6 months. Also, she was and still is in the 90th percentile for her age/weight, 50th percentile (average) height...so take that into consideration as well.
She’s now 8 and rolling back and forth just fine. I think, for us, 5 was a bit young for the rolling. At 8 she is just getting on her knees a bit. Unless your doctor says otherwise, I wouldn’t stress it.
OH! Before I forget - check out magic merlins sleep suit for babies. Helped me LOADS and out my mind at ease. Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit Microfleece [link] just check out pricing everywhere, but I got mine from Amazon (don’t remember which seller)
We got a Magic Merlin sleep suit when Sterling turned 5 months. It was a hellish two days and then he relented. We liked it cause it kept him from startling himself awake and he could use his hands to self sooth. We’ve had a few back slides( teething and traveling) but over all it was only two days for him to adjust!

Maybe he'd do better swaddled and in a swing? If you're not comfortable swaddling, there's also a sleep-suit that feels just a little bit tight on them (makes them look like the michelin-man) that can help comfort them. here
I don't know the age/size of your LO, but we wouldn't have gotten naps down at ALL if it weren't for the Magic Merlin Sleep Suit. We only got about 2 weeks out of it before baby learned to wiggle out (and then flip over!), but IMO that's what kickstarted our nap routine. Bedtimes is a different story :)
Worth the cost, for us, anyway. You might also be able to find it used.
Out of curiosity is your daughter swaddled still or in a sleep sack or anything? My girl just went through this regression. Was sleeping through the night but suddenly was really squirmy and woke up tons during the night. Terrible napper. Everything. I realized she was just too big and strong for the swaddle but not quite ready for just a sleep sack. I got this: [link]
It has worked amazing! She is back to sleeping through the night 8:30p to 7a roughly and is now napping in her crib exclusively for at least one hour stints. She's also starting to fall asleep on her own and self sooth. I'm not saying it's guaranteed to work because every kid is different. But it's worth a shot and you can always return it if it doesn't work for you.
We dont, She hated being swaddled! I wont lie..for the 1st- 2 months she slept on the couch with us. She also had a really bad reflex with her hands and arms that would wake her right away( it was very frustrating!) We got this..
Its kinda pricey BUT to me sleeping is PRICELESS !! lol She loves it! Goes in it for naps and bedtime
I was going to put this, but I'm glad I found someone else did it instead.
If you're still dealing with an insomniac infant, I recommend this thing. https://www.amazon.com/Baby-Merlins-Magic-Sleepsuit-Cotton/dp/B00KHZPH74/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=merlin%27s+magic+sleepsuit&qid=1608408346&sr=8-5
Our 5-month old son falls asleep within 2 minutes every night due to this thing, and sleeps until at least 8am without fail.
