I used these lights from Amazon. They make a “white light” as well, but it actually is more pink (there’s a picture of my other cabinet on my profile.
There are four mounted to the ceiling of the cabinet, and they daisy-chain together which was nice since I only had to run one cord out.
Feel free to message me with any questions you have! Excited for you, this was a fun project and my plants love it!
I found these grow lights on amazon linked here. I originally got the white ones but they were actually kinda pink/purple so I went with the yellow option!
They’re definitely on the warmer/yellow side. It has white, red, and blue bulbs in each strip, but the overall light they cast is yellow. They’re not the strongest lights but they work really well when the plants are right under them (like <6 inches away)
I also have these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814LNBHH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FYYKKM0JBGT20R3X1WE9?psc=1 I have them both in white and in yellow and they’re both true to color. I haven’t had these for too long so I don’t know how well they’re working, but this brand is recommended a lot on this sub.
It’s no problem! I use these lights for 10 hours a day. Each of my violets are at least 10-12 inches away from them depending on if they are minis, semi minis, standards or trailers 😁
Yes those would work fine. Try searching for “LED T5 Grow Light”. There are some good options out there in 2 foot and 4 foot lengths.
It’s my newest plant, an anthurium warocqueanum🥲 I am in love with it! They can run pretty pricey, but I got mine from Ecuagenera for like $70.
These are the lights I got based on the recommendation of a DIY greenhouse article I found online! Barrina T5 Grow Lights, Full... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814LNBHH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I am not very computer savvy but I think I did this right this should take you to the lights you need. If not let me know I will try again. Gardening under lights and plant’s I know computers not as well.😂 The distance from these LED light for most plants start at 12” away from the leaves and that’s perfect for Phalaenopsis. But my Oncidium orchid’s lighting needs are greater so it’s 4”-6” away. My Calathea needs to be 18” away. But always start with 12”. I hope this helps.
These are the ones I’m using in my Fabrikor wide.

I’m only using 2 of them currently on the top. My hoya pubicalyx is going bananas on the bottom. My baby PPP is also doing well on the bottom. I’ve got peperomia & African violets on the shelf set in the middle as well as a few props and a heartleaf fern. All seem perfectly content in that light so far.
I use these and they’re really nice!
I am using this one currently and I've been seeing good results. I keep like light within 6 inches or so of most of my succulents and none of them have gotten burned or anything. Nice little setup if you have a smaller collection.
It depends on the type of succulents you'd like to grow. You might be able to keep lower light succulents alive, but they're unlikely to really thrive. If you're interested in getting grow lights, I've had good luck with these ones on Amazon.
I'm not sure what the plant is on the right, sorry!
My plants love these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814LNBHH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_x73LFb2BP7C3P
I have 2 expensive grow lights ($69 and $99) that I bought from grow sites, and those two are definitely brighter. However my bathroom is set up with the Amazon ones I linked, and my plants are thriving. You can stick them up with double sided tape to the bottom of a shelf, or even to a wall. They're super nice.
I bought these ones on amazon and used gorilla glue double sided sticky tape to stick them to the top!
Thanks! I used these from Amazon but had to buy longer connectors

Love the warm glow from them
No plants can survive with no light. You can try a zz plant, a golden pothos, or some other easy plants that are harder to kill.
Grow lights aren’t a hassle & don’t have to be a huge expense. I use these for my winter setup when everything comes inside from my porch. https://www.amazon.com/Barrina-Lights-Spectrum-Equivalent-Greenhouse/dp/B0814LNBHH/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=1AIPOIDYMVGCF&keywords=barrina+t5+grow+lights&qid=1663704024&sprefix=barrina+%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-5
The T5 & T8 are amazing & you can use them as accent lighting. Get the yellow though. The white is too bright & makes everything look dirty
My electric bill doesn’t go up with led lights & I have a clothes rack like this one https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Metal-Garment-Shelves-White/dp/B075RBXB3X/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2FEEXJVOU242I&keywords=clothes+rack+with+shelves&qid=1663704238&sprefix=clothes+rack+w%2Caps%2C109&sr=8-3 with lights glued/attached under every shelf & rack.
No plant can survive with 0 light. Photosynthesis is essential. You can work around it though
I use Barrina T5s for my shelves: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814LNBHH/.
I use Barrina T5s for my shelves: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0814LNBHH/. My aim is to get about ~1000FC, so I distance my shelves about 20 inches apart from each other. I also use this to measure my light: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005A0ETXY/.
For the bulbs, I use the mixture of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BRKT56T/ and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09B7988D1/ depending on the light strength I need.
Does this ring a bell?
Yeah something like that! Either in LED like you have linked there or something with florescent bulbs like this vivosun: https://vivosun.com/products/vivosun-6500k-2ft-t5-ho-fluorescent-grow-light-fixture-for-indoor-plants-ul-listed-high-output-fluorescent-tubes-4-lamps
Another decent amazon option, again just examples:

Just a small light for starting them indoors. I mostly do outdoor myself but I start them all inside under a t5.
I've been using these for about 6 months and love them so far:

They hold well with double-sided mounting tape and connect together easily. Just know that if you get the white instead of yellow, they have a pink/purple-ish glow to them that some people don't like

These are my Barrina Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814LNBHH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Totally understandable so not sure if you NEED lights. Probably just depends on your natural lighting set up. You can always move the north/east facing plants to more south/west spots to get more of the winter sun, etc. Having said that, there are pretty reasonable light kits out there if you wish to supplement what you have (I do because our house is on a weird angle so I don’t get a lot of great natural light even being in a super sunny area). So I have this one, this one, and these bulbs that can be added to existing fixtures (note the better type of light fixture to use is one thats more pendant style VS a table lamp with shade, although I have both haha).
I am using these for now :)

I’m not sure of the k of the lights or if the white one is also full spectrum like the yellow
The four yellow lights are Barrina Grow Lights which are not strong enough on their own for succulents. So the main light hanging over the succulents is a Feit grow light I found at Home Depot. It didn't come with reflectors though, which pains me.
I'm definitely no light expert but I'm gonna see how these do!
These I got a combination of white and yellow lights
Yeah for sure a good idea! I do something sort of similar with my shelf and they've been pretty happy (I basically live in a cave with very little natural light). I just wish I got them sooner because I let some of my succulents get etiolated before I bought them a grow light. This is the one I use, which I like more than the purple ones just because of how they look.
Then I bought a smart outlet to go with it so they turn on and off with a timer automatically every day.

I use these and they seem to work pretty well
Can I get some experienced input on which of these two grow lights is better? I'm looking to make an upgrade as my current setup just failed on me. My plants receive little natural light as I only have a north facing window that is additionally blocked with trees >:|

I got these from Amazon, I really like them!
I picked up two sets of these from Amazon to test out for now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814LNBHH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
