I wanted to get one but just didnt want to spend the money on the BenQ light bar just to find out that I dont like it. But after a year of use on this amazon one, its damn awesome. I start work pretty early and some late nights, its nice to be able to turn on a light a dim it down. also the 3 color temps are awesome. This one is pretty well built bar itself is aluminum and the clamp is heavy plastic. On sale right now for $39

Got mine in Asia, but it's this same model on Amazon. Looks to be on sale at 50% off which ends up to $19. I have no idea how legit this is, but if it's really the same one I have, then that's a pretty solid deal

The only thing I dislike about it is the fixing clip it has. I'm always afraid it will press too hard on the monitor frame/display - but no issues after a year of usage - but it's still my only paranoia.

I have a $30 lighting bar from Baseus and it made all the difference as well. I would suggest a small 60w bulb behind the monitor to balance out the light and take strain off your eyes as well.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CXL3YQ8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_dl_H7E1AE1FGJMRWTB9FMGX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Looks like it's even on sale right now :) I love the different color temps and dimmability. The only thing you should note is that the LEDs make a /slight/ humming sound when at max brightness, nothing that can't easily be drowned out, but if you're like me and occasionally enjoy total silence, you may notice it.
I have this light bar and I can't get the thing to stay on my 48" C1 because of how thin the top is. Does your light bar just fit on top or did you need to mess around with the placement?
Just search “desk light bar” on Amazon. This is the one I got but it isn’t compatible with all monitors: https://www.amazon.com/Baseus-Computer-Adjustable-Brightness-Temperature/dp/B08CXL3YQ8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3BXADG4ZN2ITE&keywords=desk+light+bar&qid=1651055895&sprefix=desk+light+bar%2Caps%2C104&sr=8-3
I have this one, and it does everything I need it to. Three hues, and a variable dimmer for each setting
No it’s perfect. Emits light straight down and there’s no reflection on the curved panel, lights up the desktop perfectly. It’s the Baseus light from Amazon

I recommend this light bar for the monitor. It’s pretty cheap but has a premium feel to it.

The one I have is this, it has warm, bright white, and a mix of the two. Its brightness is adjustable and is powered by a USB-C connection. The great thing is it's great quality without breaking the bank, hope it helps!
I have this, it's relatively cheap while it feels superb. It has a warm, less warm, and white setting and has adjustable brightness. It uses a USB-C connection to power.
I actually just found the right placement for the light and used double sided tape so it won’t move because I was having issues clamping with the shell of the monitor being too wide.
You could perhaps get a monitor light bar?. Unrelated, but if desk space is an issue, maybe a monitor arm too
This one. No issues so far and the build quality is great. I tried using it on my girlfriend's monitor but the bezel was too thin, so keep that in mind. Regardless, it would be relatively simple to place something on the VESA mount that could hold the lamp.
No they don't cause glare, they adjust slightly to direct the light down onto the desk. I like them a lot. My desk feels dark without them now. A lot of people opt for the more expensive BenQ lights, but I got these:

Yes the lamp is very comfortable for reading, you can adjust the brightness and temperature!

Looks like https://www.amazon.com/Baseus-Computer-Adjustable-Brightness-Temperature/dp/B08CXL3YQ8
It has QC problems, coil whine on low brightnesses and can go undead (stop working at lower brightnesses but suddenly working again) if rapidly switch light temperature.
A. I don't eat Cheetos at the desk, and wash my hands like we are in a pandemic.
B. It is a light https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXL3YQ8
C. It is just a skin, I was going to buy a new Face Plate but the reviews were just so/so.
D. Drevo Tyrfing V2
I did ran into an issue with my BASEUS monitor light not working with this monitor due to the round hump on the back was interfering with the overhang of the monitor light. If your webcam have an overhang support design, it might not work. Here's the link to my monitor light.
I only got it yesterday, so I can’t speak to the longevity. The build quality seems excellent as it’s all aluminum. Given that this light is less than half the price of the BenQ model, I was a bit skeptical, but reviews have said it holds up.

Havent turned it off since I got it, can really recommend it. Be vary if you got a thicker screen since it attaches in a weird way.
Noted! Thanks, do you have any suggestions about the monitor light?

Works great.
It worked well for me but I wouldn't recommend it. all my friends who got them complained about how it aggressively clamped on the screen. My screen is a little bit curved so that might play a factor

baseus light bar here you go
I bought a cheaper one
And honestly it was a game changer for desk work during the evening. I don't know how I worked without it now.
On the desk I use these

Check this one out too. Damn near identical but cheaper. Same color temp and brightness buttons. Had it for almost a year now. No issues.

I went on Amazon to search for one
>https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXL3YQ8/
i just got mine today, fits my Ultrawide 34" perfectly
(Now can;t figure out what to do with the webcam... I see you are going to have the same problem :D)
Do you mean like those monitor lights, or a lamp?
If the first, I have 2 of these on my monitors. Work great.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXL3YQ8
Nothing against the BenQ brand, but I picked up 2 of these for the price of one of those and I like them a lot.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXL3YQ8/
Some quick details on where I did MANY things on the cheap.
With the Computers and other electronics I saved where I could, but it was all put together over time. My PC is 4 years old, still running great. I’ve done some RAM, fan, and storage upgrades over the years. I added the Mac Mini recently when it went on sale for $50 less.
This is what it looked like before COVID lockdown and restrictions. No futon, brown carpet, mismatched tables, using an old bucket as a trash can. And that was fine for me until I was spending every day, all day in here.https://imgur.com/a/67xCTNt
I've been looking for a way to read while at my keyboard for a while now. Tried many things that were either not bright enough, or too intrusive. Been looking at monitor lights for months and the prices were around $80-$130 and up. Found these Baseus brand on Amazon for $40. They work!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CXL3YQ8/
no worries, found one on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Baseus-Computer-Adjustable-Brightness-Temperature/dp/B08CXL3YQ8/
It’s a custom keyboard I built, details here. and yes that’s a lamp, link.

If you are interested, I can recommend it to you.
