What is Reddit's opinion of BattleTech: The Mercenary Life?

I've been waiting for someone to dive into this! Good summary although there are a few bits that you are either mistaken about or didn't catch the references to:

• The factory assault mentioned in the war atlas is brought up in the background briefings when mentioning the assault on Tikograd (the Capital City.) It's from the conquest of the main facility mentioned in the war atlas that they discovered the support facility the players assault. This takes place during the time mentioned in the war atlas where Tikograd and the major population centers capitulated to the Davion forces, but there was still active resistance from CCAF forces trapped on Tikonov for about a month after the major cities surrendered.
• The attack against the 3rds position on Tigress pt.2 is documented in the war atlas, and even has a full-page spread. House Hiritsu infantry did make it all the way to the HQ and Marshal Pendroza was significantly injured in her HQ due to heavy AC fire. Our mission basically goes into what happens with the 2nd during that time. It is mentioned in the atlas that heavy forces do reinforce the 3rds position eventually, (Which logically comes from the 2nd since them and the 3rd Crucis were the only Davion forces on tigress,) which is why Jackson Davion pulls them away from your mission.
  
• Sarna was never invaded during the first wave. Davion forces held off on invading Sarna till Operation RAT's 5th wave.
• The units you are supporting in the opening missions of Act III are labeled as the survivors of the Fifth Syrtis Fusiliers who were slaughtered by McCarrons forces prior to your arrival. (Fun fact, out of the Fusiliers 3 battalions, the war atlas' notes that only fifteen Fusiliers survived the battle of Sarna.) The player simply meets up with these survivors of the Grey River slaughter and assists them in surviving the remaining 5 months they are trapped on Sarna.
• The Warship mission happens a week after the battle of Grave's Hallow mentioned in the atlas. Westrick says this mid-mission. This mission takes place in the section of the war atlas where they said that the Mercenaries and the Big Mac engaged in similar skirmishes over the course of a month after the battle for graves hallow, the mission in the game simply elaborates on one of these "similar" skirmishes (Bottom right corner of the graves hallow page you posted.)
