I had an infestation a year ago and I swear by Bayer Maxforce FC which I saw recommended by pest control experts. It fixed it in two weeks and I haven't had a problem since. Looking at it, it appears to be similar to Advion gel as well.
I can't guarantee anything but I tried everything else, bait stations and diamatecious earth which is honestly fucking useless and makes more of a mess than anything – I've read they just walk around it haha.
Very sorry about your molar.
Maybe it would be better to wait for your landlords response, he might accept your offer. I have been there and only seen one roach at my previous house and it was so hard mentally. I stayed at a hotel after spreading pesticide. Roaches are not poisonous but they harm people mentally because their number increase so quickly.
Try to be assertive with your landlord and if he doesnt care there is a pesticide in gel form you can give it a try, as I know gel pesticides are highly effective:

If you dont drink during these hard days your connection to sobriety will get stronger. You can do it!
Don't know what luck you've had, but I posted something similar once and had people tell me that pest control services are worthless. Someone claiming to have worked for one before said the only thing I need is this
So I tried it, and holy crap it worked. No more roaches. Like within 7-10 days. And I had an infestation. I was cleaning, no crumbs, could not figure out why they decided to move into my kitchen. A friend had to house sit for me about 7 days after I put the first application down, and he called me and started sending me pictures of dead roaches he found. Basically, they ingest it, and then go back to their lair and die, and get eaten by other roaches, and they get infected, and die, and the cycle continues. A few of them make it back out and die in visible areas, but most of them probably died wherever they were hiding.
Trust me, it works. I put out a second application maybe 3 weeks after the first and I haven't seen a roach in 3 months. Only took one bottle to do both applications. I have another bottle under my sink just incase I ever spot a roach.
There are going to be a lot of recommendations from people to hire exterminators, but I would recommend getting the equipment and doing it yourself.
One of the issues is that most exterminators come around once a month, but the life cycle of most roaches is half that, so even if you catch one wave of them, the eggs they are carrying are unaffected and will hatch, grow up, and reproduce within a couple of weeks.
There are basically three things you need to get:
Get some Fipronil Gel: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GESOI6 Super cheap online, and 10 times more powerful than what you can get at the local store. This is what the pros use. Put this in places like under cabinets in the kitchen, near water sources, etc. Roaches like to rest in warm places. Anyplace in the apartment that is warm is a likely base for the roaches. This might be lighting fixtures, around the hot water pipes. Worst of all they might be inside your electronics such as your television or computers. They also like tight spaces, spaces they can just barely get into. Loose papers, inside the spines of hardcover books, the spaces between a shelf and the wall, places like that. Look for the roach shit, that's always a sure way to recognize where they have been hanging out.
The Fipronil on it's own is a cheap solution, but it's not the best. To really go to war you have to invest in a good sprayer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009KM25W You can go for a cheaper one, but I would suggest it's worth the investment. If you solve the problem in the long run, you can easily resell it and recoup most of the cost, though I recommend holding on to it. Remember to let the pressure out when you are done with it, you don't want to ruin the rubber seals on it.
Fill it with Acephate Insecticide: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005662Z6A and spray down the apartment twice a month.
I would also recommend a powerful plugin handheld vacuum such as this: https://www.amazon.com/Eureka-EasyClean-Lightweight-Handheld-71B/dp/B0006HUYGM/ It's powerful enough that it eviscerates the roaches as they get sucked up. A battery operated vacuum is weak enough that they don't die and they just crawl back out.
Lastly, you have to develop the discipline to starve them. They wouldn't be growing in number if they didn't have something to eat. You have to clean *every day*. Everytime you use a dish, immediately wash it after you are done with it. Open up a can of spaghettios? Wash the can out before you throw it away. Only have one trash can in the apartment and put Fipronil in it and keep an eye on it. Don't wait for the bag to be full before you empty it out. Don't leave loose papers around, throw away junk mail immediately. Got a leaky faucet? Get it fixed. Turn off your electronics and unplug them if you aren't using them. Don't leave lights on longer than you need to.
This is *your* war, you have to win it on your own. If you wait around for the apartment manager, or an exterminator to win it for you, you'll be waiting a long time. Why pay someone else to do it when you can use the same exact products they use, and do it yourself.
This (link) is a decent roach killing bait. The bugs eat the bait then go back to their nests and die and their buddies eat the dead friends and subsequently die themselves. I put it on a piece of cardboard which can easily be picked up and thrown away or replenished as necessary. https://www.amazon.com/Bayer-Maxforce-Magnum-Roach-Killer/dp/B004GESOI6

Call an exterminator for sure, but here's probably what they're going to do/use anyway. I took care of my infestation this way because I was working too much to let the exterminator in/put my cat away and I really didn't want to take time off of work for pest control. If I were you I'd get at least the Gentrol Point Source and one of the baits and continue to reapply them after the exterminator visits.
Bayer Maxforce or Advion bait, pea sized amount in cabinets/under the fridge and stove and every 5-10 feet. This is the actual poison, they work well against Germans and poison the corpses, so when other Germans feed on the dead bodies, they also get killed.
Gentrol IGR point source or spray, it's a synthetic hormone that interferes with insect life cycle and will kill eggs, and already growing cockroach nymphs won't develop properly and die.
CimeXa insecticide dust on the baseboards, behind furniture, and deep within cracks. 10x more effective than regular diatomaceous earth and it lasts for at least 5 years, which means it also does very well in keeping out bedbugs/ants/anything with an exoskeleton.
Vacuum the living shit out of your house, even the baseboards, mop, don't leave dishes or standing water around. If you have pet food/water, set up traps near the water as well as bait in an area inaccessible to the pet. (All these things I've listed aren't very toxic or completely nontoxic to pets, but better safe than sorry)
Don't bother with any products you can get from the grocery store aisle, they just don't kill german roaches at all.
