Several years ago I hired a pest control company and I asked for an MSDS for the chemicals they were using so I could verify it would be safe for pets and stuff. The employee said the stuff was impossible to get without a special license and certification or something.
Turned out that was a load of B.S. It's called Suspend Polyzone and you can get it tons of places. Bought the concentrate two years ago and I expect it to last another 2-3 years.
I dilute it in water 0.75oz per gallon indoors, and 1.5oz / gallon outdoors, and use a 1 gallon pump sprayer.
In my experience it is 100% effective for 1 year.
At the recommendation of someone else I got suspend polyzone.

I was actually shocked at how effective it's been. I was getting all kinds of insects in my house and I think I've maybe seen 1 or 2 since I applied it a couple weeks ago.
Kind of pricey, but you can basically make 12 or 13 gallons of the stuff and I was able to spray the perimeter of my house (approx 250') with half a gallon.
If you let them outside they're just going to find a way back in.

and a 1 gallon sprayer from your preferred hardware/home improvement store.
I sprayed the perimeter of my house in the spring/summer/fall and noticed it really made a big difference on the number of all bugs I've seen in the house.
It's also rated for indoor use, so if you're not able to spray around the outside of your windows/doors you could spray it around the inside. if you're not spraying outside I'd probably hit the baseboards too.
You can easily just DIY. Here's a link to the spray and you can pick up a cheap sprayer just about anywhere. If you mix it by the instructions that bottle will probably last you a lifetime.
My best friend once a month inside and outside. This bottle will last you years.
Orrrrrr
updated! that was strange. It's Bayer Suspend
