Can also use these instead of glue.
I’m like 99% sure these are the exact ones I use.
Make sure that you do get the pack of 100. They’re incredibly cheap and YOU WILL have to change out the sticker occasionally.
Over time sweat, dirt, and just general grime under the sticker and it can start messing up the reading again.
You don’t have to change them very frequently, though. I preemptively change my stick every 2-3 weeks so I don’t ever worry about it not working.
Someone did mention for their sleeve they put a silicone bottle cap cover on the sensor of the watch and it bypasses the contact sensor on the watch while still allowing accurate hr reading etc. may be worth checking out? I have the same issue with my SE, but haven’t fully tested the Ultra enough to know if the issue is resolved.
I will say the Ultra seems to be flatter on the bottom and it looks like it makes more contact with my wrist than my SE. I also tried on the Series 8 and it sat on my wrist just like the SE, with gaps on both sides of the sensor.
I also think the Alpine Loop feels more snug on my wrist and doesn’t move much even if I shake my wrist a lot.
I did find another workaround though. Another thread advised using some clear stickers on the Watch sensor. I ordered them off Amazon, skeptical, but they actually work great. The only problem is that they come off if they get wet and typically need to be replaced every 2-3 days. The good news is that you can get 100 for $9.99. So while not a total fix, an option to consider. Here’s a link: Beadaholique 100-Piece Epoxy... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFRWIRQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Amazon has sticky token maker things like this: Beadaholique 100-Piece Epoxy Stickers for Bottle Cap Pendants, 1-Inch, Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_648CBN2QHD66AWTNVGXZ
Also pair that with a thick back like foam, felt, or magnets and you're good.
I make yourself some nice tokens. You need a printer, a 1” hole punch, and some 1” epoxy stickers. Shrink your images down to fit on a 1” square, print it, cut it out and stick the stickers down on top. Cheap and effective. I keep these as backups, I print some basic NPCs, or I print them for those odd monsters you probably won’t use very often. Here is the stickers: Beadaholique 100-Piece Epoxy Stickers for Bottle Cap Pendants, 1-Inch, Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_XV5ZGFD8V49G92YD2PEC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yup! I used these but there might be better deals for the same thing. Also recommend a 1-inch circle punch if you don't have one, I picked one up for a few bucks at Michael's
I use these and it solves that auto lock issue
I’m completely sleeved and I used to have to wear my watch in a very specific way to keep it from locking- but it wasn’t very reliable.
These stickers work well and I replace them to charge my watch (sometimes the watch will charge with it on, but I find them cheap enough to change them daily)
Someone posted these on the Apple watch sub, same issue. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A14C4FTI9YAZTB&psc=1 It's weird, too, because I'm heavily tattooed on my arms and mine works perfectly. Maybe it boils down to what ingredients are in the ink?
If you put 1” epoxy buttons over them it really makes them pop.
Any hobby store should sell hole punches or even amazon. Looks like cardboard in the middle and a token glued to either side. I alway had bad luck with the glue so when I made some for my one shot I used these instead and they worked great.
They are super easy to make these as well if you have a 1 inch hole punch and these.
Only thing that might be harder is getting the actual images.
I used to make a ton of tokens just like this for Infinity.
Find a picture or make your own and print them off in decent quality. Then adhere them to something like this.

Find the right size for your needs. You can get them at craft stores as well. I just looked up epoxy stickers and didn't check dimensions tbh
We've used these for homemade tokens for other games in the past. It gives you a good bit of durability and if you have a steady hand when making the tokens, they look good enough to use as spares.
Hijacking top comment to recommend Epoxy Stickers.
Boy they're great! Give tokens some nice substance, and allows you to mark them up with Dry Erase markers!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A14C4FTI9YAZTB&psc=1 These stickers apparently help prevent the tattoo problem.
Its your wrist tattoos my man. If you have an un-tattoo'd wrist that will solve the problem. Otherwise I've heard these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) work pretty well in at least preventing the locking, but won't help with heart rate. Same issue will effect any wrist based HR monitor (garmin etc).

added the source so you know I'm not kidding.
nope, but you could achieve it on your own: https://www.amazon.com/Beadaholique-100-Piece-Stickers-Bottle-Pendants/dp/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1XHKFYJD1Z9WK&dchild=1&keywords=epoxy+stickers&qid=1630335981&sprefix=epoxy+sti&sr=8-3
this solution is used for those who have tattoos and problems with the watch not detecting the watch being worn. the HR sensor will still work.
might help. another solution would be to vinyl wrap it (like car wrap), with transparent vinyl, 10 minute job.
The epoxy sticker trick worked! Recommend everyone try it. Works when I move, workout, doesn't lock every-time!

I've used that link as well as the basic CB page to print my own as well.
Something I did to make the ones I printed feel better and last long was print them on card stock, cut them with a 1-inch paper puncher, then add epoxy stickers on top to protect the flimsy paper. They turned out pretty great.
to OP - Personally I think the ones that come in the CB Operations boxes and scenery packs are solid! If you're trying to save yourself the money from buying whole boxes like that, then the option I described is very cheap (we're talking $20-25 total, cheaper if you happen to already have cardstock or a 1 inch hole puncher on hand). If you want something that looks and feels premium, the Warsenal ones are pretty highly touted.

Best thing I've done for tokens is put these bubbles on either side https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFRWIRQ?psc=1&smid=A14C4FTI9YAZTB
I had coin capsules but didnt like it as much as this. Plus you get the original art and you can add them to new tokens that come along, like the blessed/cursed tokens from Innsmouth.
unless you put https://www.amazon.com/Beadaholique-100-Piece-Stickers-Bottle-Pendants/dp/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1XHKFYJD1Z9WK&dchild=1&keywords=epoxy+stickers&qid=1630335981&sprefix=epoxy+sti&sr=8-3 on the backside (source: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyWatch/comments/pij7wo/galaxy_watch_4_classic_notifications_not/) you won't be able to trick the sensor into detecting it... that you are wearing the watch, and having it in aod.
you could stick this on the charger and see if you can trick it that way....
I got the idea from this video but didn’t want to pay so much so I found a cheap alternative
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Beadaholique-100-Piece-Stickers-Bottle-Pendants/dp/B00AFRWIRQ
So the other day I finally jumped on board and bought a S6. I didn’t even think about the tattoo thing until I finished setting it up. Was sitting here wondering why AOD and other things like accurate wrist detection, heart rate, workout tracking, etc were not functioning properly.
Low and behold I find on this subreddit this is a major problem for most Apple Watch users with tattoos on their wrists or full sleeves.
So the fix I saw most commonly suggested was the clear epoxy stickers on the back of the watch and thought, screw it. Let’s try this out.
Ordered 100 stickers and slapped it on the back. It worked! Everything back to normal.
But then I had to charge the watch. And the sticker was too thick to permit enough of a connection to charge. Major bummer. And what a pain in the ass it would be to have to change the sticker every time I need to charge the damn watch.
So, I started experimenting. Cutting the sticker in all sorts of fashions, shapes, different placements on the back…and then I struck gold. And I’m not proud of how long it took me to even think of this specific placement+cut. Lol.
And without further useless background information I present to you, the perfect cut. Linked is a video of the watch charging as well.
Wrist detection, AOD, unlock phone with watch, and all the other bells and whistles that I bought this watch for - working flawlessly. The cherry on top is that it charges!!
Yes, It’s not perfect. Especially with the band I have on making the watch heavier. But it charges. And I don’t think any of us are carrying our watches by the cable, so I can’t imagine most people will run into any issues lol.
Get yourself a 1" hole punch from your local craft store, a handful of different colored sharpies, and order some epoxy stickers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_l3MFdlxJ9ySJC
Use the 1" punch on whatever paper you have and use the sharpies to number the circles. Then place the epoxy stickers on top. Now you have numbered and color coded tokens!
For 2" and up I use unfinished wooden discs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JPGFJ1D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_TX4GqQhl9QIct since they're much cheaper.
There's also a shop called Tactical Tokens that does something similar but just with the epoxy sticker material. https://tacticaltokens.com/product/essentials-pack/
I have full sleeves/hands and never got my S0 or S2 to work out the box. They “work” but if the watch shifts from a very specific spot it locks up. For me, it’s because the ink in my “watch area” is mostly black vs people who have lighter colors or smaller tattoos (ie an infinity symbol on their wrist)
I’ve been using these and they make the watch work flawlessly : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFRWIRQ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_j7FEFbXK2DTPM
