Yeah, and his are like... 15 dollar pillows... not a cent more. 30 for two is what he should be charging.
I have these and they are freaking awesome and have kept up over a year of fluffines.
People on here LOVE the purple harmony. I hate that freaking grid and how it feels (and so does my husband who has no health issues) but I am always in the minority about posts about that. So worth trying. I also see the Bear pillow recommended a lot on threads where Purple Harmony is recommended, so might be worth checking that.
There's a company called Pluto that will design you a pillow for like $90 or something. They're fabulous. Redesigned for me twice for free and I ultimately returned for free, but I only returned because I have nerve issues in my head and could feel the core still when asking for a plush pillow. You could get a firm one and sounds like firm core wouldn't be a problem. You fill out a basic quiz for them but if you email them right after they'll go all the way for you. I emailed them about my bed plushness and the exact measurement of my shoulder to neck. They REALLY customize.
This is an iffy recommendation for you because it does initially feel soft, but it's NOT memory foam and doesn't mold to you. The gel inside provides excellent side sleeper support. Again, I was too sensitive for the gel support but my husband doesn't even notice it & has swiped them in favor of the $150 pillows we have. Have had them almost a year now and they've held up. Oh, sorry to bombard you but also the Beckham hotel pillows on Amazon. They seem like they should be shit because they're so cheap, but they're great - soft but supportive. Again I could feel the gel because I'm very sensitive but my husband took them and uses them over the $150 pillows we have. They ALWAYS sleep cool. Never had an issue with them. They're supportive on your side but soft enough that they'd compress on your back - actually that might be perfect for you.

beckham gel pillow i love mine. hope this is the right link.

I just got a wedge pillow for sleeping and I think it helps a bit. If you have severe apnea it won’t be enough but maybe worth trying while you wait for a sleep study?
Relax Home Life 7.5 Inch Bed Wedge Pillow for Acid Reflux, 1.5 Inch Memory Foam Top with Bamboo Cover, 25" W x 26" L x 7.5" H, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FINTS4M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_8DXHWKKFYCP9GN9RTJY6
For me I needed to be able to bend my knees and at my hips (because that's how I slept for like 25 years on my side), and have my lower back feel supported, so I stuck a normal pillow under my knees for support there and bought a raised pillow like this, and used my normal pillow on the top edge of that. I found that comfortable and sustainable for me with practice (probably helped to start the habit of making sure I'm really physically tired when going to bed for the first couple weeks or so). My rule was my shoulders need to be basically parallel/flat to the wedge pillow, but I can still sort of twist or change 'sides' or do whatever with the rest of my body.
Good luck! I thought it would be impossible for me when I first tried it but the extra pillows made it and now that's just my normal, comfortable way of sleeping. I think sleeping on my back feels best for my face, chest, and upper back, although side (I'll still lay on my side sometimes, just not allowed to sleep on it) can be nicer if I have a full stomach or cramps or something.
My PT recommended this one for me post-injury, since it doesn’t cause your knee to bend. Not sure if I’ll use it post-op though.

I am only wearing a compression garment and not foam or a binder. Wondering if I will need those too? I’m 43 and have had a kid so my skin is definitely a bit more elastic than it once was! 😂 I will ask my doc when I see him this week. This is the wedge pillow I got. Nothing fancy but I definitely prefer sleeping with it than without it. I had a good day yesterday and thought I was ready to try sleeping without it and woke up super sore and put it back on the bed. Haha There’s something about the slight incline that seems to help with the soreness and it’s also firmer than my bed’s mattress so maybe that helps.
The only suggestion I can really think of is getting a wedge pillow. They can get kind of expensive, but personally a $40 pillow that might help with acid reflux might be worth it.
The pillow elevates the top half of your body so the acid doesn't creep up your throat.
In terms of laying down try getting a wedge pillow
and another one to elevate your feet. Great for alleviating lower back pain.
Thank you! something like this?
Well, we love her but also especially during these crazy times when we likely can't be there in person as much. Thanks again
I bought one from Amazon for maybe $40 and it works great…you absolutely do NOT have to spend $100-$200!!! Here is an example:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FINTS4M/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_i_FKTZGBRDEA64VB6P9TRH
I purchased the following wedge pillow and case in January 2021 and it helps. I use it every night and it is just as firm as the day it arrived.
I got this one but any will do
I don’t even get the heartburn anymore and have just kept using it for the snoring

That's just an example tho, there other more affordable prices is you look around. Just search for "wedge pillow" .

I purchased the following wedge pillow and case in January 2021 and it helps. I use it every night and it is just as firm as the day it arrived.
I got this one but any will do
I don’t even get the heartburn anymore and have just kept using it for the snoring
