Along with a thorough inspection which has been laid out previously in the thread, you could treat your luggage with bedlam plus. Bedlam is a pretty phenomenal product that has an initial knock down as well as a short lived residual effect, 16 days I believe, you'll have to read the label to make sure you are following federal laws and its expensive but not as expensive as a full home fumigation or heat treatment if you carry them home.
