I’m not sure which one the OP was looking at but this one is fantastic. Looks stock and does block any vents. I work at a dealership in Mktg and might starting giving them away as a little thank you to the customer.

I use Android auto/apple carplay. It's all easily controlled with your voice for addresses and stuff. Also if I need to search around on maps at what not I use a phone mount..this one to be exact since it's made for the car basically hope this helps.

This Beerte holder works well for my 2020. I have my Pixel 3XL in a case with the slim metal disc inside of the case. The magnetic adhesion is strong even through the case and I haven't had any problems with the phone falling.

That looks good. This Beerte holder also works well if you prefer the magnetic hold. I have my Pixel 3XL in a case and it holds the weight just fine.

I have one off amazon that clips into the space between the center vents and encircles the hazard button on my 3.

Here is the CX-5 version.

I also put some black 3M tape under the top of the base so that it had a little extra hold. I also went nuclear and put a disk magnet with a rubber traction tape on the disk magnet. Neither was "needed", but I am extra like that. If your case has a magnet in it(I have a Roklock), you may need to peel the sticker over the magnet of the mount off so you can flip the magnets to have a matching polarity since the mount is meant to be used with a metallic disk.

Magnets are the future. I use this magnetic phone holder and these charging cables for all my devices.

Oh man, I've been waiting for this question. Absolutely love this mount - it really looks as if it's built into the car. Easy to still reach the hazard lights behind the phone.

I have a charger from the cigarette lighter: Nekteck USB-C Charger

If you're going to run the cable from the armrest, then I recommend this 90-degree cable converter: 90-degree cable converter. This lets me shove things in the armrest without worrying about bending the USB connector.
