If I am on the set when the footage is captured, Ill take notes with timecode so I have something to go by. other than that, yes, lots of watching, lots and lots of watching.
60 videos of 10 sec to 5 minutes, so thats like, what, 2 hours of footage? Try editing a feature film with 120 hours of footage!
