Thanks a lot for the answer, I saw some on amazon for around $300 example I'm really interested in learning but I know my work schedule will force me to practice late at night, which is why I'm going the electronic route

Drums are so fun--but they come with some unique issues to work out... Like where to store such a monstrosity and how to keep the cops from being called at 3 in the morning. After the latter happened to me, I bought an electric set so I could use headphones and still practice the mechanics of sitting at a kit.
