This is a crochet book I think would be great, I really want to make blankets and such for my kids.

I LOVE Friday the 13th! It's always been a great day for me!

When I turned 13, we were moving from Florida to Utah - we drove! My mom ended up in the hospital with heat exhaustion, my 'cake' was actually a giant frosted cookie from the grocery store, and a few days later my step-dad ended up getting dreadfully ill from drinking the water from a mountain stream. But, true to myself, I remained happy and optimistic during the whole thing, and everyone was okay in the end :) Even now I don't think about it as some awful thing that happened, I think about it as an adventure, like so many other things in my life!

I keep thinking I should try some of these with crochet thread. They'd make interesting earrings.
