I go to one infrequently. If I tweak myself lifting/working out, I find I can speed my recovery by getting twisted on.
That said, there are a couple types of people who: Those with chronic problems, like a car-wreck than injured them years ago. Those who like getting touched and pushed on. And those you might see once or twice a year at most.
If you're in okay shape, and not in constant pain, a single visit should be all you need. But again, if you're reasonably healthy, your body should sort it out on it's own within 6 weeks.
Be extremely wary of a chiro who tries to rope you in with, multiple visits multiple times per week. That's just a scam, and he's out to fleece people.
Now, I'm the son of a chiropractor. I don't think it's a necessary medical therapy, but I think it can help in some cases. And it's often a lot cheaper than a physical therapist. But I've also gotten similar results with [an inversion table](www.amazon.com/dp/B001IBIQ5Q). So if I had something kinked/pinched, gravity would pull me apart and help out.
