One time I read a book about what its like to write in Hollywood, it was called The Billion Dollar Kiss The author wrote for Dawsons Creek and they were having trouble making the show go after like the second season, the producers kept wanting to have the main guy James Van der Veek make out with Michelle Williams who later went on to be inn Manchester by the Sea.

The writers wanted Dawson and Joey (Katie Holmes) to get together, which they eventually did and the kiss they had led to great interest in the story and eventually Dawson's Creek became a billion dollar franchise. But the writers had to pretty much strike against Michelle Williams and the producers. I'll never forget one guy standing up and yelling (about Michelle Williams) MAN FUCK THAT CHIPMUNKED CHEEK CUNT!
