Nothing sticky and removable is reliable outside. Ive had outdoor command strips fail in the heat and humidity. They do ok in the shade and not getting wet.

Sounds like its Hardie board type siding and not wood. You would need to drill into it.

I haven't had good luck with buying just suction cups. Ive had good luck with the suction cups on a repurposed parrot window perch and an outdoor window bird feeder. I don't use them for bird feeders, I use them to hang other things from outside. Every few months we check them for stickingness (yeah I made that word up just for you lol) and remove them to clean the windows. The parrot perch has been outside for years. I just drilled holes into it and attached the thing I wanted stuck to the window to it.
