I'd like to add, if it's police you're scared of then consider a dash cam that is cloud based with built in Wi-Fi capabilities. Something like this. Also knowing what state you're in could help me tell you your individual rights. Some states don't require you roll the window down

I followed a thread on the forums lemme post the link. But we designed a bracket via 3d printer to be able to run the wire thru and stick the adhesive on to the mount bracket after screwing it on to a rivet that we punched in the headliner. I have the 3d file i can share, or i can ask my friend to print it out for a small fee + shipping.
